Are you a big fan of NieR: Automata but never had the chance to go back and play the original game in the series? You're already in luck thanks to the fact that NieR Replicant is getting a PlayStation 4 remaster. However, better yet is that Square Enix plans to overhaul its combat system to appeal to those who enjoyed the sequel.
Revealed in a new issue of Famitsu and reported on by GamesTalk.net, PlatinumGames' Takahisa Taura will oversee an overhauled combat system so that fans of Automata can feel right at home. New content is going to be added to the base experience to make it feel like more than "just" a remaster, while certain songs will be extended and entirely new ones implemented. Voice work will be re-recorded and the actors who played 2B and 9S are even involved.
