Well, here's a twist we didn't see coming. Jack Black, over on his popular YouTube channel Jablinski Games, has secured the first glimpse at gameplay of the newly announced Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2. More than that, he's joined by the birdman himself.
A couple of minutes into the above video, the Hollywood actor / musician takes an early version of the game for a spin along with his two sons and Mr. Hawk. The group messes around in the iconic Warehouse level from THPS1 while Black and Hawk talk about bringing the PS1 classic back.
It only lasts a few minutes, but if you're curious to see what the title looks like in motion, it's right here. We live in a world where Jack Black gets the scoop on a brand new game. Could be worse.

Hahaha, it’s worth it just to see the Birdman falling on his face trying a 900. Might be able to do one in real life but seemingly not in the game!
I’m subscribed to jablinski. I liked his stream with pewdiepie.
I want Mr Black's rottweiler t-shirt.
Thanks for calling it what it is - a remake. Makes no sense for them to be calling it a remaster.
After giving the video a proper watch through, it’s just so nice to see the original crew at the Berrics having a good time. It’s kinda crazy to see the ages of them now but I have such good memories of watching old skate videos of Eric Koston, Kareem Campbell and the others. It’s great to see them de-aged in the game in their primes.
The game looks pretty dreadful though, I feel that type of gameplay is too dated, we just need a Skate 4.
Well thats typical THPS came out on ps1 but they are playing on xb1, Tony are you mad 😅
Looks like the characters on the boards float around the place to me
11 year old brazilian just did a 1080 on a vert. Sick nasty. Google is your friend
@Nyne11Tyme I saw that, absolute madness. I think it’s easier to spin being that light but the kid surely has a bright future ahead of him. And that was without even using a MegaRamp!
Looks good but I think the character magically regenerating after crashing might annoy - would be good to have an option to turn that effect off
