I’m still not getting over just how much this game impressed me. Easily the best FF and arguably the best rpg of all time. Technically it’s a sequel rather than a remake, and after that genius ending I’m fully on board for the last part due out in about a million years.

It’s the best soundtrack I’ve ever heard in 35 years of gaming - it was probably the easiest nailed on category to call at the Game Awards.

Downloaded the Diablo IV trial. About an hour in I was already mad at myself for not checking it out sooner. The gameplay, voice acting, music, combat, sound design, all fantastic.

Then I ran into a cave full of spiders. Huge spiders coming down from the ceilings etc. That was me done, it was fun (and sometimes genuinely brilliant) while it lasted! I can see why it’s so big.

Amazing stuff. 🤣

Best month for a while! Been listening to the vinyl soundtrack to Sonic Frontiers quite a bit lately so I’m excited to jump on that one. Looking forward to Forspoken, too.

I don’t really mind if we didn’t get the airship, the vehicles in Rebirth were good enough for travelling, I’d prefer the Highwind to be more of a base of operations. Considering Rebirth is the greatest FF and arguably best RPG of all time I do not envy the team making part 3 at all.

To be honest the game by game articles are pretty interesting, eventually we’ll get into a rhythm of knowing which devs are likely to have better improvements etc etc. but what we really wanna see Pro-wise is Arkham Knight! Arkham Knight! Arkham Knight! Arkham Knight! Arkham Knight! Arkham Knight!

It’s a brill addition. Customised it to the way I want but my biggest gripe is the pics/screenshots tile, it doesn’t shuffle automatically, just the same pic every time.

To be fair, Cult of the Lamb is the most heavy metal album name ever.

Heard a rumour about A24 landing the Death Stranding movie with Alex Garland directing. Seems too good to be true but one can dream!

Loving the trailer. Still can’t get my head around just how great Bella was in season one. Considering her character turns from someone beloved into an even worse person than Joel it will be interesting to see if she can maintain the impossibly high standards she set for herself during the course of the series.

Ghost of Yotei, the best PS Plus month in YEARS, Hitman psvr2, NieR AutomataXstellar Balde… a State of Play that was actually well worth watching!

Themes how they were on PS4 are pointless with how the PS5 is, but this welcome hub feels like a welcome middle ground. Great update.

@Kienda as a big FF fan who’s been playing them for three decades now, it’s a GREAT ff game, you’ll love it! As for 15, easily a top 5 ff for me, possibly top 3.

Not the same exactly but you’ve just made me remember Columns on the Mega Drive! I’m sure it was one of three games on the cartridge.

As a long time FF fan this is easily one of the greats, a steady 4k 60fps will do it more justice on pc though.

Using AI to help redraw everything seemed a bit iffy at first but from what I’ve seen it looks amazing.

How did you decide on who got 1 & 2 both 9.3? I forgot how good Rise of the Tomb Raider was, if it weren’t for Uncharted 4 being so ridiculously OP it would have registered a lot better I think.

Absolutely ridiculous. I love coming back to this game. Sounds like there’ll be more of the new music as well. I hope it’s PS5/current gen only, things that weren’t possible on PS4 just to highlight the quality of it all.

The pacing of 4 was its biggest strength. It finally took storytelling in the UC franchise seriously and it showed maturity that was lacking previously. It’s also got the biggest, best and smartest set pieces in its history.

I remember playing Bubsy loads on the demo mega drive in Littlewoods! Wasn’t there an absolutely awful reboot a couple of years ago or am I dreaming?

As a huge Uncharted fan, the film was fun. Looking forward to more!

Big fan of this ever since trying it at EGX 2016, and the soundtrack is chefs kiss. I’ll def check this out.

The missing pool scene and the scenes that were missing from the credits that are clearly big spoilers for part three, and the way they're revealed will have the ultimate say on how impactful this is. We've not seen the full story yet. Loved the way it was done so far.

• This. I played just the story missions because I didn't want it spoiled for me, the bloatiness is completely optional and it strikes the balance perfectly. Now I'm doing the tons of optional stuff on my second playthrough and loving it. History will indeed be very kind to this game.

It's been a great game for years obviously but honestly I liked the launch version, and sort of miss the simpler version of it sometimes.

Rise of the Tomb Raider us still criminally underrated, if it weren't for UC4 it would be more widely regarded I think. Shadow seemed to improve further on things so I'm looking forward to what they come up with next.

It's easy to see the remnants of that in downtown Seattle early on in the game. It's a pretty cool small slice of open world with a few "dungeons" that can be done in any order. More of the same would've been nice to see!
