He’s not wrong. I loved it when I originally played 3, but the combat was not fantastic and parts were very clunky. I loved it despite those downsides.

Once I finish my play through of the Trials series, I really need to just do a full 0-6 play through again. Just marathon those suckers!

I remember when Yakuza 6 was coming out and they released what was SUPPOSED to be a demo limited to the first area of the game.

The demo was the WHOLE game, but with a coded lock to keep you from progressing.

…the original demo forgot the lock. So they had the FULL game till access was revoked. People took their consoles offline once they figured it out and played the whole game.

I suspect they’ll be a bit more careful this time around.

Played the test or whatever was released on PS5 and noped out of it hard.

Completely unsurprised it failed.

Avoid this game. If the demo is anything to go by, it is a buggy mess and riddled with bad grammar and punctuation.

Like Balan Wonderworld’s demo, this demo has saved me $40.

I hope he decides he’s also 60fps and updates the game to reflect that about himself.

Yeah, Veilguard was definitely the biggest failure, more so than Anthem.

Anthem likely lost them less money and got fewer people laid off. The fact the servers weren’t shut off before this is rather telling.

@SMJ …Sony and Nintendo are the dominant console makers with MS trailing a fairly distant third at this point.

Why would Sony get out of the console market? They’re actually selling consoles.

Further proof MS should just get out of the hardware business and focus on games. They mostly do those very right.

I mean, it sorta seems like they’re doing so ANYWAY, really. Can’t deny they make good games, and I’d love to see Horizon 5 also come to Switch 2.

Hopefully Horizon 6 has cross-save/progression baked in, so I can bring my progress over from XBox (where I’ll be playing it courtesy of the last 3 month gamepass card I’m holding onto) when I buy 6 for PS5.

@Jammer A Switch 2 can be connected to any tv with HDMI, 4k or not.

@Nei Knowing LRG, your time with it will be delayed to mid-2027.

This worries me. Just make it for the Japanese audience, don’t westernize it. Anytime I hear about making a game series “more accessible” it never goes well.

P3-5 were successes on their own merits. Atlus is clearly doing SOMETHING right.

I bought the Switch version as well, hoping for a Switch 2 upgrade in the near future. Hopefully this is the precursor to that happening!

I mean, I own the game on PS4 disc and 4/5 digital, as well as Series X disc..why not quadruple dip?

@AdamNovice The point is that Rockstar will make an impressive game that, like GTA5 on the PS3, will make other developers go, “How did they do that?!?” and then try to do it. Thus hopefully making more games that take fuller advantage of the current hardware.

Meh. We still haven’t truly pushed the limits of the PS5. Devs have brute-forced most instances.

I have the feeling GTA 6 is going to come out and light a fire under a LOT of developer’s rears to finally take full advantage of both the PS5 and Series X’s capabilities. We sure haven’t seen it in 99.99% of the games this generation.

I feel no need for a PS5 or a whatever-asinine-name-XBox-goes-with anytime soon.

This remake is a masterpiece and I’m so looking forward to the next one.

Speaking as a series X owner who also owns Starfield on disc…we PS folk aren’t missing much. Unless you’re a massive, massive Bethesda fan, you’re honestly okay without this game in your life.

Marathon-in-name-only will be about a 0.4 on the Concord scale. Where 0 is a total and complete success and 1 is…well, Concord.

At least this thing is free to play. It’ll shamble on a while after release before collapsing. It won’t be a full Concord but it’ll be about 0.7 Concords on the Concord Fail Scale. Maybe 0.6 depending on the final budget.

@Balaam_ Unwarranted? That’s an odd way to describe a game that has near universal accolades, was made on a $10 million budget, is incredibly well done and supported and was worth every penny I spent on it.

LotF 1 (technically 2) has been on my backlog for ages, but dang 2 (technically 3) looks really good. Might have to move this up my backlog list.

If those non-limited-edition ones were mechanical, I might be tempted. Sadly the second hand points out that they’re quartz.

I’d love a PS themed mechanical but I’ve already got a ton of regular quartz watches, including a Pac-Man themed Timex. I’ll pass on these, sadly.

Hopefully this will be a movie-Sonic-result and the actual remaster will match the original designs. Because wow that trailer was god-awful in how it looked.
