So it almost certainly hasn’t made its budget back yet then.

Weird, I was assured up and down that it was a gigantic success and that blasts were being had in huge numbers.

Revenue of $150 million IS a disaster because that means they lost a lot of money on the game. They aren’t making that up anytime soon, if ever.

Revenue is meaningless unless production costs are taken into account. Profit is the value that matters, and this game didn’t perform like a freaking Wolverine game should have.

@ECharles You’re completely (or purposefully) misunderstanding the issue here. You’re throwing different regions in the mix when it’s blindingly obvious we’re talking about people in the SAME REGION getting different prices.

Let it die. Andromeda proved that ME should just cease, and the utter garbage pile that Veilguard was shows that no one who was at BioWare at the end should be allowed within reach of the series.

Not everything needs endless sequels and continuations.

BioWare died a decade ago. This was just the shambling corpse being put out of its misery.

My Switch 2 copy is preordered and I’ll probably get the PS5 disc somewhere down the road.

They said this game was still in early development. So this is nothing more than a glorified cinematic made for promo purposes. Not an actual indicator of what the game would be like.

AFAIK, GameStop is the only one directly selling PS5 Pros for those ludicrous amounts, and those are used/refurbed units, not new.
