As we reported earlier this week, a spate of 30th anniversary announcements for the Persona franchise are due in 2026.
But the first of them is unlikely to entice PS5 owners, as we suspect this will be Nintendo exclusive: it’s Fitness Boxing Persona 5.
Those of you who follow this franchise will know there have been several licensed tie-ins over the past few years, including Fist of the North Star and Hatsune Miku.
If it’s anything like previous instalments, you’ll be completing training drills under the instruction of characters like Ann Takamaki, Ryuji Sakamoto, et al. We’re sure the likes of Morgana, Igor, and other minor characters will also put in appearances.
But the Fitness Boxing franchise, made by Japanese dev Imagineer, has primarily been exclusive to Switch platforms, so we’d expect the same here.

While we suppose there is a small chance of a PSVR2 version, we wouldn’t hold your breath.
