Many of you will have fallen in love with the Yakuza franchise because of Yakuza 3, as it was the first PS3 entry to release overseas.
But regardless of your relationship with the game, you’ll be able to try out Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties courtesy of a demo prior to release.
There’s no word just yet on what the demo will actually entail, but word comes way courtesy of a PS Blog hands-on: “SEGA announced a playable demo will be available for the title, more news of which will be shared in the future.”

A strategy that’s been working well for Square Enix lately is releasing a demo including the opening act of the game, and then allowing save progress to transfer to the full game, as is the case with Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined. This might be one path SEGA decide to take.
Either way, with the game due out on 12th February, we’re sure we won’t have to wait too long for a full breakdown of what to expect here.
Is this something you’re personally eager to try, or do you know what to anticipate from a Yakuza game already? Let us know below.
