Publisher Krafton has partnered with Limited Run Games to produce a trio of physical editions for Tango Gameworks' hit rhythm action game, Hi-Fi Rush.
The game has only been available digitally up to now, but soon you'll be able to place orders for a physical copy to add to your collection.
The three physical versions are as follows.
Rhythm Edition

$39.99
This is the standard edition, but it includes the additional in-game items from the Digital Deluxe edition as well as three DLC costume packs — Bossplay, Traditional Garb, and Teamplay.
Smidge Edition

$69.99
This version includes everything in the Rhythm Edition, as well as a three-CD soundtrack, all in a nice presentation box.
Project Armstrong Edition

$174.99
This collector's edition includes everything in the Smidge Edition, as well as:
- Hardcover Art Book
- 8” 808 Plush
- 6” Chai’s Guitar Replica
- Chai’s Project Armstrong Pass
- Jumbo Glow in the Dark Spinning MP3 Player Pin
- Individually Numbered Certificate of Authenticity
Pre-orders for all editions open on 16th January and will close on 1st March, giving you about a month and a half to secure your copy. There aren't limited quantities, so you don't need to worry about that, at least.
It's not known when these Hi-Fi Rush physical editions will be ready to ship, but the items are in pre-production now, so you may have to wait a bit.
Are you planning on getting a physical version of this one? Tell us in the comments section below.

As much as I dislike Limited Run Games, this would be rad to own physically.
One of my favourites for this gen!
You say soon, it'll be about a year later.
Also assuming any of the goodies are quality. Or not delayed from the rest of the shipment. Or if they remember to actually press data onto the discs this time.
This will be the only game that gets me to spend money with LRG in years.
I hate this company, but unless PlayAsia gets it in stock for a comparable price, I guess I’ll have to do business with them.
Sigh it's always Limited Run
My time with this game might have finally come.
@dskatter Play Asia i love it but man ite expensive.
@Nei Knowing LRG, your time with it will be delayed to mid-2027.
@Flaming_Kaiser I know, but if I can give almost ANYONE but LRG money, I try to! Plus I have some credit with them after my Christmas purchases of Fantasy Life i for myself and a friend along with some other games.
At long last. Been waiting to get my hands on this since 2023. Better late than never.
Limited Run is an automatic no for me. Screw that company.
I worked at GameStop during the PS3/360/Wii era (was a handy job for university when you have a gaming habit - staff discounts were decent at one point). Used to trip over the number of special editions (I'm being hyperbolic here, but you know what I mean).
Really miss those days at times.
Honest question, does Limited Run Games have dirt on a lot of the CEOs of these companies? How the heck do they keep getting these deals when people keep complaining about their services?!
@dskatter I was a big supporter when they started. Idk if many Vita collectors are on here, but LRG was our savior back then lol. Iirc I got my Yomawari collector edition through them. I forget.
Either way best luck to all that order it.
Is this game good? Does it get monotonous? Serious question.
I fail to see how this wouldnt make money with a normal print run i hate when companies use lrg.
@StopBeingTribal It's very stylish and kind of funny at times, however as a person who came to it more as an action-brawler fan than a rhythm game fan - I did find having to time my button presses while still moving my character and watching for enemy attacks a little more tedious than I'd like.
If you put it on easy difficulty, the timing is very lenient and the attacks always come out on the beat regardless, so it will still look and sound cool even if your sense of rhythm is crap. Though it does the whole DMC/Bayonetta battle-rating thing and you will never get a good rating which does kind of make you feel like ***** even when you're not "losing" at the game.
I played through it once and enjoyed it well enough for its relatively low price.
Ah. Great to know. Thank you for the feedback! Appreciated.
@11001100110zero May the odds be ever in your favor. LRG was decent back in the day, but they’ve had so many issues and delays.
Plus there’s the little matter of that Shadow statue a month or so ago…
I've never had a single issue with LRG and have used them for many years. The most recent purchase being MK Legacy Kollection on Xbox.
I'll definitely be getting this.
Also, it's really weird to say that it's a former Xbox exclusive when it has been readily available on PS5 for nearly 2 years. Seems like an unnecessary point to make.
It was a really fun game. Sequel could be an all timer. The level with the penultimate boss is legit one of my favourite game levels ever. Also combos are so satisfying to achieve.
Sigh another physical game I won’t be getting since it’s LRG
@dskatter Dont get me wrong i love them. But damn i had payed for the shipping economic and its just as expensive as using DHL speed delivery. After i gave response telling them it would be nice if they could give a headsup that fast delivery would cheaper i got a response you choose economy. I was quite surprised and disappointed i always was happy with them but that one really disappointed me.
@Flaming_Kaiser I took advantage of their free shipping over the holidays. It was very pleasant!
