Pearl Abyss has updated Crimson Desert so much since its PS5 launch earlier this year that its latest set of patch notes read like the developer is already at a point where it's just adding stuff for the fun of it.
How about a pond to put your fish in? Sure, there's now one at Howling Hill and another at the Pailune Camp.
Did you always wish Kliff could use a shotgun? Now he can.
Did you want to keep a Baby Wyvern as a pet? Now you can.
In the case of the ponds, you can release the fish you collect into them, either directly from your inventory or from a new "pond management mode". Of course the ponds get their own mode, in addition to all the other mechanics in this game.

Crimson Desert will support an additional 20 species of small animals, and the Baby Wyvern you keep as a pet will be able to become your mount in a future update. For now, Wild Wyverns can serve as temporary mounts if you subdue them.
There's now a dedicated tool slot, both Damiane and Oongka have a new skill that's the same as the Focused Aerial Roll used by Kliff, and you now have the option to silence tied-up outlaws. It's another set of lengthy patch notes, but you can read through all of what Crimson Desert update 1.08 has to offer below.
