It seems Sony isn't quite done with its 30th anniversary celebrations, as it has partnered with Anicorn on some seriously cool wristwatches.

Hong Kong-based Anicorn is a watchmaker and design company that's produced original works as well as other collaborations, including SEGA and Kojima Productions.

Now, it's announced a series of three PlayStation-themed watches to commemorate the brand's 30th anniversary, one of which is a limited edition.

Only 300 of the First PlayStation Limited Edition Mechanical Watch will be produced. Its design matches that of the PS1, with the signature grey seen throughout and multi-coloured PS and face button symbols. The minute and hour hands feature the Start and Select buttons.

Each of these watches comes with a memory card-like device with NFC functionality; you can tap it to access a "digital memory board", and we're not entirely clear on what that means, but it's a neat extra.

The other two watches, which don't appear to be limited edition, are more minimalist. The Play Symbol Dark Mode and Light Mode watches feature a blank watch face where the face button symbols float around as you move your wrist.

The Dark Mode watch is black with coloured symbols, while the Light Mode watch has a white face and silver colouring.

The whole collection is due to launch on 18th December 2025, and will be available exclusively via Anicorn.

As you might've guessed, they aren't exactly cheap. The limited edition watch is $780, while the Play Symbol variants are a slightly less alarming price of $250.
