Though I'm thinking the instant game resume won't be so instant when you have to get up and change discs.

Just be careful who you are in party chat with if you are not very politically correct. Because you know there will be people who will use it to police their religion, eh I mean ideology, just like recently with Yelp.

I'd be perfectly fine if it was just a $10 increase here... But some games are getting a $50 increase. Yeah nah.

Swung back into Marvel's Spiderman and jumped into Super Mario Galaxy on Switch.

I with you on purchasing less games because of the price increases. I'd love to play Demon Souls day one, but I'm not willing to pay $120 for it. A price drop or second hand it will be for me for most games. Some I'll fork out the dollars for but they'll be few and far between.

I buy a lot of games compared to most folks, as I'm sure many of us do here, but I'll definitely won't be from here on out.

Which is the main reason I'm seriously contemplating getting an Xbox with Gamepass. And I've never owned an Xbox before.

The prices for games are ridiculous. In Australia, Demon Souls is $119 at Amazon, and they're pretty much the cheapest.

While I've already preordered a PS5, also getting an Xbox and Gamepass subscription is looking better and better.

Okay, I already had this preordered just on the studio and looks alone but this review has me hyped. Looking forward to soaking it in when I get the time.

Just woke up to this news. YES! GAMES, PRICE, AND RELEASE DATE! That's all I want Sony, don't let me down.

I was 15 when it launched back in '95, I don't remember how I got it, I might of received it as a Christmas present that year.

So Microsoft had some series "leaks" happen the day before PlayStation's 25th anniversary in the US. Heh.

For me only PS4 BC is a must. The others would have been nice.

I can't believe in 2020 it seems Microsoft is more gamer friendly than Sony. Pretty big turnaround from the beginning of the generation.

Loved the music on the trailer, from one of my favourite bands, Rotting Christ. Spot on.

I like both. Digital for the indies, and those fantastic sales, and convenience. Physical for games I know I'll treasure, collectors edition, and knowing I can resell or trade if I want too. Sony first party and rpgs/jrpgs I go solely physical (unless there is a unmissable sale).

Pity, this looked liked it had potential from the trailers I saw. Like others, probably pick in up in a future sale.

Sony still has the edge but Microsoft is bringing the goods that I'm even considering buying my first Xbox console this gen.

Cannot wait to pick this up later and play on the PS5. Looks the goods.

Looking forward to this. I liked Man of Medan but it was no Until Dawn.

I thought this looked interesting this morning when I came across the trailer on YouTube. But multiplayer doesn't do much for me. Is there a meaty single player mode as well?

The Witcher 3 for me.

Been playing two remasters on PS4 lately, Uncharted and Tomb Raider. Enjoying both but the Lara Croft outing has really surprised me as to how much I'm enjoying it.

Sony played their hand well. Coy to the very end. I'm surprised that there weren't more leaks, particularly about the big stuff, the console reveal and the All Digital sleek wonder. And all the better for no spoilers.

I'm still deciding how much I like it but the more get used to it the more it's unique look appeals to me. Plus it has an hourglass figure which just makes me want to rub it.

Ahh in-built games... Brings back memories. This should make a return with every console.

I'm already boycotting this company so it's all good.

What will Sony do when they finally realise that what we are witnessing is the first stages of the collapse of a multi-racial empire and hard Balkinisation comes next. No more games for the rest of the world? Diversity folks, just don't do it.

Awesome. Wardruna is fantastic. Another great reason this will be my first AC game since Black Flag.

On the last leg of Persona 4 Golden. Want to at least put in a few hours tomorrow.

Maybe some Bayonetta and ACNH as well.

While Sony's marketing effort has been a total disaster so far, and while Microsoft's has been better in contrast, I honestly don't think they have to do that much to grab the initiative back. Show the console off, tell us what it can do, show games running on it with actual gameplay. Make the presentation high energy and not a cringe fest. Done.

Disappointing. Those two horror reveals (plus Scarlet Nexus) were the only games really of any interest to me. Hopefully they come to PS5 at some point.

BLUE REFLECTION has stolen my heart at the moment. Enough that I haven't started ACNH in a couple days.

Cool. Probably the first AC game I'll play since Black Flag.

If it's smaller DLC installments then I'm fine. But if they are just going to milk these out and charge full AAA price for umpteen releases then I won't be. They should have had the full narrative arc mapped out with the number of games to be made known beforehand.

10/10 = Fatality

I liked Man of Medan well enough but not as much as Until Dawn. Looking forward to the next one and am happy Super massive Games are continuing their brand of interactive narrative horror.
