Grinding out the Plat for Mortal Kombat 11 on PS5. Just 3 more trophies to go.

Yeah, slightly disappointed about the gameplay aspect but still very much looking forward to this.

I've yet to start it. Been concentrated on bringing my completion rate up as it is beyond woeful. But I'm looking forward to playing it on my PS5 hopefully soonish rather than later.

@TrueAssassin86x yep, own both PS5 and Series X as well. First time invested in an Xbox console for this very reason, all the studios they bought plus game pass.

This news isn't surprising. Did anyone really think they'd pay more than 7 billion dollars for these companies and not make them exclusive to their ecosystem?

Definitely interested, sounds like a fascinating narrative. I might hold off and see what's up with the PS5 version though.

Finally playing through Mortal Kombat 11 on PS5 after receiving it for Christmas. I think it's the first MK I've actually played since the 2nd one in the early 90s.

@Northern_munkey I'm talking monetary value, not how many hours you play. A lot of games get a deep discount months if not weeks after release.

A bigger Astro Bot game is music to my ears.

The rest of the news not so much. Hopefully those devs can find new homes in studios where they can make what they want and not be constrained by a global gaming monoculture.

While this looks great, it is priced $129.95 at EB Games and $109 at Amazon over here in Australia.

Yeah, not happening. Especially since Sony's games don't hold their value. I'll be waiting for a good sale before I bite. Shame.

I think I have this on Switch, but I might pick this up on a good sale.

This is good and bad.

Bad in that I was looking forward to playing my first Gran Turismo game since the second.

Good in that I'm buying less new games and focusing on my backlog this year.

I do feel PlayStation has lost a lot of its Japanese uniqueness to a global Western output. So I'm very happy for projects like this and glad he left Sony to persue what he wants to make.

Good thing Sony games don't hold their value. Patience is key to save money.

Finished The Medium yesterday, absolutely phenomenal experience and something I didn't realise was missing that I needed.

Spent time cleaning my backlog up today and will be doing the same tomorrow if I get time.

I just got mine last week. I think it was the German postage that was the culprit for the glacial speed as the day before I received a book with the same Deutsch postage origin that I gave up as lost a few months ago.

I really should be cleaning up the platinum for Spider-Man but instead I just started The Wolf Among Us.

Amazon only delivered my copy two days ago but I've kept it sealed because I'm waiting for the PS5 upgrade before playing, which was always my intention even before this disastrous launch.

But this timeline were living in surprises even me. Breathtaking.

As someone who "played" Snake Boat, I welcome this development. I'm off to take a shower now.

I wasn't going to play this until the PS5 update anyway but I'm yet to receive my copy from Amazon yet.

After Astro's Playroom, this shot up as the next PS5 launch game I really want to play. Good to hear it doesn't disappoint.

After getting the Plat for Astro's Playroom I've been digging into Bugsnax. Not a bad game at all, glad it was a Plus game otherwise I would never of played it (though I did stuff up the Plat for this grrrr).

And I've also discovered something called Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice on my Series X.

I thought they were on the wall in green writing, after you broke the wall first. Anyway, very addictive song.

I found the Snaxsquatch pretty much at the start of the game. I was outside Beffica's cave, going on evening I think, just scanning to see anything new I could find when out in the trees off to the right I saw a black outline and question marks, so I took a picture and popped the Candid Cryptic trophy.

I went instore to my local EB Games and fully paid off both the PS5 and XboxSeX a week ago and made plans to pick them up on launch day around lunch time. Cannot wait!
