@Kidfried I think that’s maybe a little harsh. Have you ever been to gamescom? It’s enormous, and makes the likes of Tokyo Game Show look like a hobby fair at your local community centre. All of the big three have a huge presence there normally, but the thing is that it’s 99.99% an in person consumer show, the announcements aren’t really a big deal most of the time. So for that reason I totally get Sony skipping it, but when it’s physical I wouldn’t be too surprised to see them back again.

After the disappointment of the last game, I'm super excited for them to make amends with this. Bring it on!

I'm definitely interested to check out the trailer purely from a technical standpoint - never seen that approach before and I'm intrigued to see how it all works. But as for the game itself, who knows. I hope it's good, but I really don't think the Kojima/Silent Hill theories have any credibility whatsoever.

I thought it was ok! It was nice to see some more of what Death Stranding will be offering, and I LOVE the look of Jett - can’t wait to pick that up. No interest in Deathloop though so I switched off for that bit.

Really pleased with A Plague Tale, won’t touch the other two.

What I think is bizarre is that everyone says E3 is dead but don’t seem to have a problem with Geoff Keighley’s event, which is just the same idea but digital first and poorly executed. Need to ditch that one too in all honesty.

Anyways, as for PlayStation - I reckon it’ll be closer to the PS5’s one year anniversary. September at the earliest, early November latest, with perhaps a few smaller or single title events between now and then like the Ratchet and Clank one.

Visually it looks lovely, nails the look of the series! Ultimately I’m not sure I’ll play the game just for the sake of replaying the plot, so hopefully there’ll be a little more to it.

Really hope the Plague Tale rumours are true, really itching to play that. Played Uncharted LL a few times already so will skip that, but might give WRC a go if that crops up.

The length of the game doesn't bother me in the slightest (in fact I think it's about right) so it's right up there with a 9 for me. Not genre-defining perfection/innovation but a spectacularly bombastic example that I loved every second of.

Quiz reminded me just how dull the majority of E3 was, but mercifully it took much less time to get through.

Never played a Tales game before but it looks like I’m gonna have to get this one. Looks stunning!

Up their with Babylon Fall as one of the worst trailers from the E3/Summer of Gaming season yet…what were they thinking?

Looks very much in the vein of previous FromSoft games but that is 100% fine by me. From a technical standpoint it's not on Demon's Souls PS5 levels of quality, but the art direction and actual gameplay is absolutely top drawer as usual and ohmygosh it just looks incredible. Can't wait, glad it's not too far away!

If it wasn't for Elden Ring, it would have been pretty dull IMO.

Regardless of all the other discourse going on around this game, that's a really cool idea and personally I'm really excited to check it out!

Last year was the definition of hit and miss so I’m not getting carried away, but either way I’m glad the summer reveals are going to be starting from here and I’m looking forward to all the news over the next few weeks and months.

I'm really, really loving the focus on water gameplay they seem to be hinting at so far. Also hoping they might introduce a 60FPS PS5 patch at the same time...maybe?

Much better than last month for me - just keeping fingers and toes crossed that the new PS5 VR system will be backwards compatible when it launches as I'd love to give Squadrons a go with that.

Hate to say it but this is pretty much what I expected from the trailers. Cool concept, so-so execution.

The red one is nice, but still think the Xbox and Switch colour options are much nicer. Ah well, it's a start either way!

Would love Sony to take a leaf out of Microsoft and Nintendo's books when it comes to controller colours. Black and grey might be nice if it's PS1 themed, but black and red sounds a bit dull.

High price and harsh difficulty makes this a no go for me at the moment, unfortunately. When it’s cheaper and they’ve added the new save (and maybe difficulty, maybe?) options I’ll take another look.

Anyone know if there are multiple difficulty levels on this one? I'm very tempted to pick it up but time is precious these days.

Horizon has been a big omission from my PS4 library for way too long, definitely looking forward to giving it a go at long last! Whether I have the time to finish it is another matter, but hey.

Have never and will never use accolades. And never realized there were dust catchers either!

Personally I don’t think Sony has to hit the panic button just yet. It’s early days and the PS5 has made a great start. It’s just that this time around, so has MS and for me they are currently setting the standard in several areas. Which is good! It would be boring if the same companies were always in 1st/2nd/3rd, and I’m glad that MS are doing their best to make me want an Xbox this time around. I’ll pick one up eventually at this rate, whereas I had no reason to get an Xbox One.

My only “concern” really is that Sony will miss out on some amazing indie titles, as that’s where so much exciting work is being done and Xbox seems to be really chasing these devs for exclusives. But hey, if it keeps going that way then I’ll just grab a series x to go alongside my PS5.

The AAA big hitters will keep growing over time, I’ve no doubt of that. The MLB deal and Last of Us remake aren’t as big a deal as people are making out, IMO.

No interest in a remaster of VF5 to be honest, I’d much rather have remasters of the original, VF2 or Fighters Megamix.

A new VF though? That I’d be interested in.

I was a bit nonplussed at first but the more I think about it, the more I really would love to revisit these games again. Bring it on. Also reaaaaally hoping the soundtrack gets a proper vinyl release this time around, but not too optimistic on that one.

These look incredible. Missed out on PSVR with the PS4 era but I'll be picking this up day one, I reckon.

@DrJames I don't own it but played a bit and watched a friend play through it, was very impressed. But that holds a lot more interest to me on a lot of levels. The setting, overall gameplay style etc.

The "Loop" gimmick here, the general tone, uber-fast twitchy gameplay etc are all just the opposite of what I look for in a shooter. Admittedly, I'm not a big fan of the genre though.

Fortnite isn't my kinda thing at all, but as others have said, their art team does great work, so fair play to them. All of those look great.

Glad people are excited, but honestly this does absolutely nothing for me. At all.

@Nepp67 A hundred times this. I bought a damn Wii U just to play the last one, and I'd happily do it again.

I was so, so hyped for this, but that demo was painful and I'm really not sure a patch can turn it around.

It looks good but personally even those environments look a little dull and samey, I'd like to see a little more variety and maybe a few more visual setpieces.

Absolutely adored this trilogy the first time around (even with the questionable ending to ME3) and I can't wait to play in 4k60 with HDR just for the nostalgia trip. Played them all on Xbox 360 originally so it'll be nice to add the platinums to my PS profile. Exciting! Anyone coming into this fresh is in for a treat.

Absolute monster of a lineup this month, bravo Sony! First time in a long time that I’ll be picking up all three titles.

I very nearly didn't pre-order a PS5 but the urge to play Demon's Souls was too much so I caved and managed to snag a pre-order in early October. Absolutely love it so I'm definitely feeling pretty lucky with the situation that there is now. Really hope everyone that wants one can get them for normal prices soon.

I really, really want to love this, but it doesn't sound all that promising here. Will give it a try and hope it improves for launch.
