Final Fantasy and Spider-Man look great and all (and yay for Tales of Arise DLC!), but in terms of sheer announcements/surprises it was pretty low key.

So boring. Xbox still has PlayStation beat when it comes to this stuff.

I don’t normally dunk on these too much, but it’s definitely a weaker month and the news of the price rise is very poorly timed. Hopefully next month will pick it up again. Again shows how much comparative value game pass presents.

Echoing what a lot of others said, I'd have gladly paid for a standalone PS5 version of this. Great little game and my kid is loving it. Tried browsing for some other stuff in Dreams but didn't find anything particularly compelling at a first glance - will try to get back to it for a deeper look eventually but I can see how it could be a drawback for the game as a platform. Also a bit annoying to have to go through a Dreams tutorial before I could access Tren.

Every now and then I imagine a Bluepoint remake of this on the level of their Demon Souls port. Sigh.

Would be nice to have this natively - I don't use the app much and always forget about these.

I would have been super excited for Dreams if it wasn't literally about to be canned. I'll still download it and have a casual browse but it's disappointing that the game isn't being continued properly on PS5.

Such a good game. Loved every minute of it and very tempted to pick it up again.

TMNT, Inscryption and Redout 2 are all games I’ve been wanting to check out so very happy! Might get Paw Patrol for the kids too.

I thought it was OK. Too many dull shooty AAA games (yawn) and the inevitably rubbish GT movie but there was still some nice stuff in there. Phantom Blade 0, Spider-Man, Final Fantasy XVI and Alan Wake 2 were the highlights from the AAA side for me and I’m really excited for the indie titles they showed. The streaming handheld and headphones look good too, interested in maybe picking those up.

But yeah, I guess the heady heights of Sony’s E3 shows a few years back are gone for good and that is disappointing for sure.

I was gifted a code for the new expansion so I thought I’d give it a go after not really playing since Destiny 1. I’m enjoying it - there’s fun to be had for sure. But the story is poorly acted nonsense for the most part, and it’s ridiculously unfriendly to new users. Also visually it’s really showing it’s age. When I heard the new expansion was set in a neon lit city I thought it sounded cool but it looks so dull and the citizens are just low detail holograms for some arbitrary and barely plausible reason. Despite all that I’m finding it enjoyable and I’ll probably play for the rest of the season, but have to admit I’d definitely be up for a sequel that simplifies the story and ups the production values.

Shame we can’t just get a AAA action adventure game with the visual style of Arcane. That would be really exciting.

If the plot is good enough then I think I’m going to really enjoy this, but I think I’ll be waiting to see what the reviews are like first. Voice acting, music and art seem on point though so fingers crossed!

Looks gaudy and tacky, IMO. Not a fan but always nice to see them trying new types of merch!

I think the series deserves a part 3, personally. But who knows.

Sounds like a clever feature and totally makes sense for a revised core model. Happy enough with my current version though, so I’ll be hanging on for the inevitable Pro version, as I’m sure most others on here will be.

Bit torn on this. I enjoyed elements of the main game and kinda wished there was a more satisfying ending, but I found it was way overhyped in the reviews as others have said here. Will wait and see but with so many other things out there to play, I’m not sure.

Wasn't sure yesterday but after thinking about it I'm tempted to go for it - missed out on VR last gen and I want to see what all the fuss is about. If I don't enjoy it I expect I'll easily be able to get the money back as they're bound to be in short supply.

If it had backwards compatibility I'd be pre-ordering for sure, but at this price and the current lineup I'll probably wait it out for a year or so.

Bit meh for me personally, but with God of War on the horizon I can’t say I’m too bothered!

Disappointing news, I’ll be holding off for now and hoping for an update maybe. Or getting it on PC.

Hot Wheels is great, found it got repetitive after a while but enjoyed the time I spent with it. Haven’t tried Superhot so looking forward to that but can’t say I’m too fussed about Injustice. Solid month!

It’s not a dealbreaker but it is disappointing. Welp, as long as Sega release a new version of Rez Infinite I’ll be happy enough.

Just picked up Tales of Arise for £25, very excited! Kinda tempted by 13 Sentinels and Gran Turismo as well - is there a trial or anything?

I’ll be tempted to pick up the PS5 version eventually but no chance on the limited edition, all the extras look totally naff and tacky. Would sooner drop the cash on an actual high quality print.

I was pleasantly surprised - haven’t played a Tekken game since 3 back on PS1 but for some reason I’m very excited for it. The Yakuza announce was a nice surprise, the Ronin thing could be good, Stellar Blade is looking like a potential Bayonetta killer and God of War just looks ridiculously, unbelievably good.

I think the only possible megaton I’d even hesitate to guess would be possible would be Silent Hill. If that happens they can show 19 minutes and 30 seconds of farm sims and I’d still be giddy.

At the very least I’m just hoping some nice indie games, maybe some confirmed western releases of some of the titles from the Asobu showcase in the summer.

I remember watching a play through of the fan translation for this thinking it wasn’t as good as the others (the original trilogy was near enough perfect), but I’m still super excited and can’t wait to play it. Just hope this means we’re getting a new game eventually!

Love the first game, absolutely all-in for more.

Meh, not for me personally. Looks ugly as heck and I can’t making use of any of the customisations. I’m sure there’s plenty of folks who’ll love it though.
