Does anyone else remember when a trailer for a remaster for this game "leaked" online, with a sequel tease at the end? Guess it was a fake going by the fact of a remaster never coming out but what a fine looking trailer it was. Also, this game's spectacular, more people NEED to play it.

Fantastic game CANNOT RECOMMEND IT ENOUGH. It's certainly not for everyone but if you're enthusiastic enough about games to be on this site it should be at least enjoyable!! One of the best games of 2020 for sure.

Been wanting to play Maneater so bad!! Sucks massively for anyone that actually bought the PS5 version though and didn't wait 2 months for it to become free.

Coincidentally I literally started this game yesterday! Thought I'd play a level or 2 but ended up finishing the whole first world and a few of the challenges. I'm in love with it!! It's by far the most fun I've had on PSVR so far. Gives me the same sense of whimsy I got playing Tearaway for the first time.

Notable also though is that game didn't have an English dub which would've sped up the process I imagine? Idk, maybe Atlus wanted to announce this sooner but Covid interfered with plans. Either way, hype.

Announcement at The Game Awards presumably then? This would be a short promotional cycle for an Atlus game, so I'd be very surprised but regardless jumping with joy. Can't wait to play this.

This game looked so good!! Thought it'd be a normal game, I'll steer clear of it now though if it's F2P. Would rather just buy it like a normal game, totally tone-deaf on the part of the devs (or more likely, the publisher) imo.

Can't wait for 13 Sentinels. It totally went under my radar but reviews were glowing for it so I preordered it. One of the highest Metacritic scores for what looks like a VN (plus RTS stuff I guess?!) that I've seen in a long while.

This article is pretty affirming, I'm glad I'm not alone here. Physical prices are bad enough but I cannot imagine going all-digital this gen and not even being able to sell the game you've paid $120AUD for after finishing it/obtaining the platinum.

I think Layden is 100% right in what he said back in June. Game budgets need to remain stable, lower, or just not exponentially grow as insanely as they have in the past decade because this is getting ridiculous for any consumer outside the US.

Never played this, super exciting news! Shocked a Persona 3 remaster wasn't first to be honest but this might be at least partially to promote SMTV.

@Matroska 100% this (your first comment). I'd be absolutely shocked if Horizon FW or GoW 2 beat this record and that's because the install base won't be nearly as high with PS5, it certainly won't by the time the former game releases in 2021, we'll see about the latter though.

Major congrats to Naughty Dog though, the game deserves it, absurdly fantastic. PS4's had some real masterpieces (and I sincerely believe this game is one) this year from Dreams, P5R, and now this. Absolutely phenomenal.

About what I expected, a good remake but retains flaws of the original. Can't wait! Shame about the bugs though, hope there's a patch or two incoming.

Cannot wait for PS5 to allow us to choose which parts of a game we want downloaded. Call me cynical but I don't think I'll be touching this mode at all. My excitement for this game is sky high but this mode just doesn't do it for me. I wish they'd done something splitscreen instead, preferably with platforming as that's where the game's strengths are. Regardless, June 23rd can't come soon enough, wanna platinum this game badly.

Is this just a thing with racing games now, announcing them only a month or 2 before release? I seem to remember NFS Heat being announced mid-August and releasing in like November the same year. These are some crazy quick marketing cycles.

Both of the games this follows are in my monstrous backlog. I look forward to grabbing this when it's on sale and then inevitably never touching it, continuing the tradition. Trailer looks pretty neat tho.

Awesome, none of them seem missable and none of them require playing the multiplayer mode which, frankly, looks awfully similar to the awful Spongebob games we'd been getting since 2013. Singleplayer looks fantastic tho.

I'm hoping if there are any more games announced they're like Ultra Despair Girls, set in between games and in another genre. A straight up Danganronpa 4 would feel like a disservice to the fantastic ending of V3.

Was lucky enough to get P5R almost a week early due to it releasing early here, still playing it. Turns a 9/10 game into a 10 for me, absolutely terrific game for these domestic times.

Been dipping in and out of VR games (Playroom, RE7) and I've been digging it, but Dreams is the game i'll be vibing with for a very long time. When VR comes to Mm's latest, gosh dang I may cry.

Dreams. Just Dreams. Feels amazing to finally play a story mode from Mm again because their campaigns are truly unlike anything else in the industry, charm oozing out their pores and a strange but compelling sense of British twee. Played around half of Art's Dream, I'm trying to soak it in and take it slow but I'm definitely hooked. And lord, don't even get me started on the user-created stuff. This game is something special, far beyond the already insane standard of the studio's past catalogue.

Excited because we might finally get concrete information soon, terrified because this "soon" could actually mean as far back as May and Greg Miller could be right on the money 😭

Totally baffled that it took so long, a whole console generation will have passed between this and the last one. Did Bioshock Infinite underperform or something?
