As was widely predicted, visual novel puzzler AI: The Somnium Files is getting a sequel. The frustratingly titled AI: The Somnium Files - nirvanA Initiative will continue the property's blend of colourful characters and detective gameplay in Spring 2022 for PlayStation 4.
This time around, you'll play as rookie Special Agent Mizuki, who, like Special Agent Date in the first game, is accompanied by an artificial intelligence named Aiba. Mizuki will be investigating the "Half Body" serial killings. Sounds suitably creepy.

AI: The Somnium Files is a very enjoyable story-based experience, although we do think that some of its more... abstract gameplay detracts from the adventure. Still, we have high hopes for nirvanA Initiative — especially if it can improve on the puzzle side of things.

Despite the worst name I've seen in years (Gosh I wish they just called it "AI: Nirvana") I'm always excited for these kinds of games, particularly if Uchikoshi is involved. Sign me up!
I should try the 1st game, looks like something I can get into.
I've got the first game in my collection. Been saving all the VN style/based games for when I'm working from home.
I'm really excited for this one.
I'm happy that Mizuki will be protagonist. Hopefully, we won't get all the annoying pervert jokes that the original had.
@AchievingGamer alright, appreciate the ahead up with the guide.
