Re: Feature: 5 PS4 Exclusives That Are Flying Under the Radar

MrSensical

So weird that Dreams hasn't had a big splash at events, when I first saw it I thought everyone would hype it up (not necessarily to No Man's Sky levels but perhaps around there, they promised you can create ANYTHING for goodness sake), but I've heard almost nothing from the general gaming public for ages. Media Molecule even have fortnightly streams where they show off the game, but still no one's talking about it much. A shame imo

Also Gravity Rush 2 has been terrible at being shown off enough, shoutout to that trailer from E3 that Sony didn't even play on stage, it was just released around the time of E3. Shame Sony, shame.

Re: Rockstar Could Be at PlayStation Meeting, But This Isn't Proof

Lot of skepticism on the site lately, and I like it. Not many sites are willing to call out bull spit when they see it, glad there's someone that will. Also, this is the guy that wrongly promised the cool dudes at Kinda Funny that name changes were coming around the time of PSX 2015, so double skeptical.

Wowsers, last time I heard about cool press copies was for Tearaway Unfolded almost a year ago, which apparently came with a snazzy papercraft PS4 controller (and I think maybe the soundtrack? Could be making that up cuz I'm a doofus).

Do you guys plan on doing this for all the cool press copies from now on sent or was this just an exception?

Re: Sonic Sprints onto PS4 in Two New Games

MrSensical

Sonic Mania sounds amazing. Pretty sure Whitehead in the past made the Sonic 2 port for iOS, which was great, so my expectations are high for this one. Sonic 2017 though. Remember last time a Sonic game was known for its year? Remember last time when Sonic tried to look realistic (or more gritty and cool with its high number of explosions)? Remember how that game was promised to have a holiday release date, much like this one? Now Sega said in the past that they're focusing on quality now, but actions speak infinitely louder than words, and my hope and hype for this game right now is below zero.

@brendon987 Vita and PS3 confirmed for the west for ToCS 2. There's an English trailer out there somewhere that came out pretty recently, I haven't watched it though since it apparently has big spoilers for the first (including the ending I think?) and I only got ToCS a couple days ago on a sale.

Edit: This is also awesome news, MOAR VITA GAMS HURRAH

Re: Review: Fallout 4: Far Harbor (PS4)

MrSensical

Huh? So many people reporting terrible frame rate here, yet on my PS4 I've had only one issue (the game crashed on me, though that happened a couple times in the Commonwealth too). Framerate's fine for me so far, though I'm only a few hours in and haven't gotten to those apparently absurd puzzles. Have you guys been getting them your whole playthrough of Far Harbor?

Re: Feature: What PS4 Announcements Should You Expect at Paris Games Week?

MrSensical

Quantic Dream is without much doubt going to show their new game, but I reckon the Heavy Rain and Beyond Two Souls remasters are closer than people think, and could even have a release during the show (like that Entwined game and some betas have done in the past). I mean didn't Beyond Two Souls trophies for PS4 come out around the launch of the console or something? Seems they've been sitting on this for a loooong while and were just waiting for the right time to release it (which, methinks, would be in Quantic Dream's hometown Paris).
