Re: Talking Point: Could PS5's Price Be a Problem Against Xbox's Rumoured Lockhart?

JLPick

Honestly, I won't be getting either right away. As for the point of the topic, the price hurt Sony with the PS3, just like the price of the 3DS at first hurt nintendo. It needs to be a good price, and even if they lose money at first, they gain it back quickly with Plus, Store games and retail games later...it's all about getting the install base at first. Anyways, I usually end up having all of the consoles anyways, so I'll have a PS5 first, but will also have the X-box. Which one I pick up first will all depend on exclusives, and Sony usually has me for that. I just hope Sony wins this next generation again, and not fall behind like they did at first with the PS3.

Re: Talking Point: What New Trophy Features Do You Want on PS5?

JLPick

I'd like to see to where if you get enough trophies, there's something like an online store, to where you can use them (by earning enough) and get some free add ons for the games that you got the trophies. That would be something nice. Would sort of be like the Ubisoft link they do.

Re: Poll: Are You Spending More Time Gaming Because of the Coronavirus Lockdown?

JLPick

Even though I feel bad for the people that are stuck at home all day, I'm honestly one of the ones who have to work still, so I still have my usual days. Other than that, I have been playing my backlog more as there's less places to get games. But, as for my kids and I, when I finally have a day off, we're going for more walks, hikes, bike rides and playing outside as much as we can...better than keeping the kids locked up inside and driving me nuts!

Re: PS5 Is the Lead Platform for Next-Gen Horror Game Quantum Error

JLPick

I agree with Ridwaano about the game to compare to other consoles. However, I also think that this is because of the bad luck Microsoft had with the Xbox One, and they're waiting to see if the momentum picks up with their next one. PS3 was left with many games that didn't come over to it...not sure how long it took for PS4 to start getting the momentum with other companies, but this seems to fall with many. Many companies even waiting on Nintendo with the Switch, due to the sales of the Wii U.

Re: Poll: Should Free PS4 Games Be Given Away to Those in Isolation?

JLPick

I think I said before that it would be counted as just a gesture if they did it, and they don't need to, just like many streaming sites didn't have to offer a month free. Basically, it's the companies losing money on it, and I'm sure Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo are making money right now with people buying through the online stores. But with everyone at home, the servers would then become too busy, then the complaints would come over that. Also, why sit in front of a TV all day. My kids are doing school work still and learning, because I don't want them sitting in front of the TV all day. Back to the topic though, I don't think it's something that any game company needs to do. I understand Sony did it on the PS3 during the bad break in, but that was an apology. This is something that couldn't have been helped too much.

Re: Poll: Does PS5's Teraflop Disadvantage Matter to You?

JLPick

Nintendo had the weakest system with the Wii, and it was a massive hit. Nintendo has the weaker system with the Switch and look at the sales. Doesn't matter on the console, but it's the IP's that keep the gamers going with the company. Nintendo has great IP's that keep the gamers flocking to their consoles. Sony is the same way. As for Microsoft, they don't seem to keep many of their IP's (Blinx, Voodoo Vince, Viva Piñata, Banjo Kazooi). Microsoft needs impressive first-party games to keep their machine running, something they did with the 360 but failed with the One after the launch. No games were shown yet from either company, only thoughts on what games would come out (and Sony will have, even if later on, Horizon 2, God Of War, Spiderman, Ratchet And Clank, Hot Shots Golf and I'm sure a new Twisted Metal). Granted I own all 3 now, and have had all 3 in the past, I'll still get all 3 the next generation (because we know nintendo is probably already working on their next console). Nintendo and Sony are always my first choice due to the IP's...Microsoft needs to have more than just a few to get me to purchase their console, and who knows...will their next console have problems like the 360 did? Will microsoft's next console have a major lack of first-party titles like the XBONE does? Third party companies always flock to the console that sells...PS2 had massive amount of titles, Wii had massive amount of titles, 360 had a massive amount of titles and PS4 at the moment has a massive amount of titles. Whichever system sells the most, the games flock too...meaning that if the PS5 oversold the Xbox, the companies will flock to the PS5 to where specs won't really matter because the games will be designed with the other...if that made any sense.

Honestly though, I can't wait to see what nintendo has planned, because once Sony and Microsoft release their next consoles, the Switch will be very far behind and will likely have a drought in 3rd party titles.

Re: PSN Download Speeds Restricted as Sony Works with Internet Providers in Europe

JLPick

Honestly, doesn't this show companies that nobody is ready for a 'download only' game console? Glad I really only buy physical, but stinks for those who purchase much downloads. The only problem I found out, and I live in the US, is that streaming services are pretty slow at times and timeout, but I've had no real problems with the Playstation network yet...except I kept on getting booted out of Gems Of War a few times.

Re: Poll: Do You Plan on Buying a PS5 After Sony's Deep Dive Video?

JLPick

I think it's safe to say that it's the exclusive IP's for the companies that matter the most. Sony's may be more underpowered than X-box's machine, but Sony will have the better IP's. As for the underpowered, with the fact that Nintendo's has been underpowered since the Wii days (comparing them to the others) and they still sell massive amounts (Wii and Switch), that's living proof that it's the IP Exclusives that sell. All and all, we only got a small feed onto what the consoles can do...we still have yet to see games announced and what games will be announced.

Re: PS5 Delay Likely Due to Coronavirus, Analyst Claims

JLPick

They'd make up for it...have a nice price drop on the PS4 and offer some great bundles for the holidays and watch the money soar in. As for the PS5, even if it doesn't come out for the holidays, just release it close to income tax return time and it'll still sell greatly. As for me, there's still plenty to play on PS4 and my backlog can be caught up (hopefully). It's fine for me until the PS5 is out for a while, as I'm not in a hurry to purchase another system right away anyway.

Re: Guide: Short PS4 Games

JLPick

Little Big Planet 3 is pretty short if you're only playing story mode...also, there's quite a few more, some that you can beat in an hour or so.

Re: Talking Point: PS5 Could Be Delayed, And We May Have to Accept That

JLPick

I'd be fine with the delay...after a nasty divorce I'm trying to get back the things that were sold by the ex (Xbox One and Switch)...especially since the Switch was the kids. I also have a big backlog of games for the PS4 to complete or even start and there's still a lot of games for the PS4 I'd like to get (and with a new console, the old consoles seem to vanish from being played a lot)...so I'm fine! Plus also, it's the kids I worry about first, so I wouldn't be getting it until later anyways...at least when more games come out for it.

This is also good and will help build a stronger launch list of games, get games to come out quicker during the first few months and get all the knicks and bugs out of the games and console itself. The only thing is that they won't have the system out for Black Friday or close to Christmas, but time will tell. Spring is coming and the warmth should kill the disease going around. It's not like we're having a zombie outbreak!!!! (jokes aside, sorry). Anyways, there's still a lot coming out to be excited about for the PS4, and the Switch has some fantastic games coming out (and more to hopefully announce), and we still have yet to really see anything about Microsoft's next console (will they make a comeback, or will it be another XBONE era for them). At least major companies and indie companies will be able to have many games ready for the launches!

Re: Talking Point: Should Capcom Remake Resident Evil 4?

JLPick

To me, it's enough with the Resident Evil remakes...seems like every generation, we get the same ones, and I'm pretty sure that when the PS5 arrives, later down the lifecycle, we'll get Resident Evil 7 re-released, and then we'll have the other resident evil titles re-re-re-re-released like they are for every generation it seems. I think they should focus on a new title in the series, keep the series going and possibly work on some new games to their franchises. Instead of remakes of Resident Evil, remakes of Viewtiful Joe (and a new one in the series) and possibly some of their older titles from the NES, Genesis and Super NES years and possibly remakes of Dino Crisis and a new one in the series. It would be nice to see some new games instead or bring back some of the classics from the past.

Re: Reaction: PlayStation's Most Ardent Fans Are Feeling Frustrated and Insecure

JLPick

It's basically the last year for the PS4 for many grand titles, so it wasn't that bad. The PS5 is releasing next year, which means most of Sony's publishers are going to be working on that, not the PS4...nintendo has done this, whenever the last year of their console before the release of a new one, the games are slim. I'm sure more will come out into 2020, many surprises, granted they may not all be by Sony, but I'm kind of looking forward to the surprises of the PS5 and what games are being worked on for that more. Guess I have enough backlog for the PS4, but I'm looking forward to next year to see what they have coming.

Re: Sony Appears to Officially Confirm It Won't Make Another Portable PlayStation

JLPick

I loved the PSP and always chose it over the DS...but I then got the VITA...it found it's home for a little while, but again, lack of games for it at the time, and I ended up getting rid of it, and unlike other consoles that I've gotten rid of, I've had no temptation of getting it back. Still have my PSP and a ton of games and even UMD Movies for it and even though it doesn't get as much play anymore, it was a fantastic portable system at the time! The vita could have been something, but just like what some others mentioned, Sony seemed to give up on it or forget about it, their main focus became getting the PS3 to sell better. Let's just hope that Sony learns their lesson and doesn't price the PS5 too high. With the massive success they've earned with the PS4, let's hope they stay on top in the console market, and don't also forget that if they did another handheld, their teams are split between projects for both systems...if you look at nintendo during the Wii/Wii U/3DS/DS generations, if one console was getting a bunch of games that year, the other wasn't and vice versa. With nintendo just only having to focus on the Switch (sorry 3DS), they're able to bring more games to it...I'd rather have Sony stick to what they're doing better at, but I could see them eventually trying something like the Switch, especially if nintendo rounds it again for their next console and has another success, or if Microsoft tries to lay into the handheld. Never say never, Sony will try something again, but the big question would be...will there be a market for it?

Re: PS4 Flogs the Most Software on Black Friday in the UK

JLPick

PS4 is number one for games right now, of course they will!!!! I'm thinking that the Switch sold the most consoles though, seems that's what people were searching for. I'm hoping that Sony's VR sold good and gave more people for it. What I can't wait for, is to see what will happen in 2020 when Sony and Microsoft push their next consoles out...going to be some really good deals then on the PS4 and XBONE.

Re: Shuhei Yoshida Shuts Down Xbox Boss' Comments on VR

JLPick

VR is expensive, yes, but there is a market for it, as Sony has found out. If the price was cheaper, there would be a bigger market, but it's the price that is making many people hold off on it. I own it, love it, but it's not the first thing I pick up to play. It's got it's good games and it's got its bad games (just like regular console titles), but I think with the PS5, Sony will have more involvement with it, unless it becomes a flop (the VR, not console). Microsoft lost money with Kinect on the XBONE, and I think Microsoft should be focusing on more IP's and exclusive games (something they really lacked this generation). Microsoft is more or less going to try to win back their fans and money that they had from the 360, and that's what they should be working on first, or they're going to find themselves in another pinch. Sony took the step with the VR and succeeded, but Sony also had their loss in other projects too, just like Nintendo has. Right now, Microsoft needs to work their way back up, as they're falling behind Sony and Nintendo. I still could have sworn that Microsoft was preparing to release something in the VR department if I remember a few years ago...then...nothing came...something with goggles and wireless handheld controllers with it? Am I remembering this correctly? Anyways, at least Sony's VR gave some usage for people like myself who bought the camera in the beginning!!!!

Re: Cancelled PS3 Exclusive Eight Days Pitched as 'Greatest Action Movie' on Consoles

JLPick

Chances are, someone will read about it and try to bring it back to next generation consoles. Maybe, just maybe, some of these will arrive on the PS5 or next Microsoft machine (sorry, don't know what it's called yet). Would be nice to bring back the Getaway series...possibly a collection for the PS5 (which seems to be the thing to see if some titles still have an audience). Hopefully, but in the mean time, I'll take a new Twisted Metal by sony instead for the PS5.

Re: PS5 Controller Looks a Lot Like DualShock 4 in New Patent

JLPick

Guess we'll all wait for the final reveal by Sony themselves. Honestly, can't wait to hear all the rumors and lies that will soon be coming, loved all of them before nintendo revealed the Switch...some were actually truthful where others were complete wastes of time. Being without the light bar could be a good thing though, as it seems to really run down the battery life of the PS4's. Hopefully they add a better battery to them.

Re: The Disaster That Is Mighty No. 9 Is Being Removed from the Japanese PlayStation Store

JLPick

It wasn't that bad, and definitely wasn't the worst game I've played, but I ended up picking the physical copy up for $5 in a store and got the code to download it on PS3 and VITA too, so it made it worth it. I wouldn't have paid more, but for the price, it's a worthwhile game, granted I haven't really had the time to play it with so many other games that came into my collection after.

Re: Yooka-Laylee Dev Not Being Bought By Xbox, Clarifies Continued Independence

JLPick

As I'm an owner of all three systems, this is good news to me. Microsoft seems to kill franchises rather quickly, with only a few that have lasted since their first console to the Xbone (Halo being almost the only one). Glad to see that more studios are deciding to become independent and release on all, maybe Microsoft will learn to make more exclusives for their next console instead of the sagging few that are available on Xbone...granted I like the system, it is lacking exclusive games.

Re: Guide: Best PS4 Racing Games

JLPick

I agree with many on this list. Track mania Turbo has turned into one of my favorite arcade-racing titles on the system, spending hours into it. I really agree with Burnout Paradise, as I owned it on PS3 (but have not played it as much), I find myself playing for hours on end on PS4. Definitely one of my favorites as I await a new one in the series (hopefully for PS5). Wipeout Omega Collection is also another great one, and Redout is another great one! Shame about Drive Club, as it was a great title, but one of the series that I'd like to see make a resurrection, or at least a Trilogy collection, is Motorstorm. Motor storm Apocalypse was one of my favorites on PS3, and I'd love to delve back into it!

Re: Guide: New PS4 Games Releasing in October 2019

JLPick

Lots of great games coming out! Really wish though that Microsoft would release Cup Head and Ori and the Blinded Forest on PS4, since Switch got...at least Ori...it was a fantastic game! Can't wait for these titles, and for some reason, can't wait for the Ice Age game, Medieval and the Ghostbusters remake.

Re: Sony Wants You to Talk to Your PS4 Games for Assistance

JLPick

Will never use it, just like I'll never own an Alexa. Don't need more ideas for hackers to hack into my life. Other than that, bring back strategy guide books, or, do what many others do...look online and find the answers, or...do what official gamers do...play and find out by yourself...that's what makes it a 'game!'. My opinion though.

Re: Twitter Poll Suggests a Brand New Super Monkey Ball Game Could Be on the Cards

JLPick

When I first got my Gamecube, and this game was out, I bought it not only because it was made by Sega, but also for the funny title (seriously, it is a funny title). Loved it, and ended up buying the second and even the adventure title, continued with the handheld versions and Wii versions (which I actually liked). I've been waiting for a new one, but this one will do in the mean time...at least until they make a new one that hopefully arrives on the PS5 or possibly the Switch. Can't wait for this one though, granted it will probably be a $40 title, but honestly, they're all fun titles! Only one I haven't played was the VITA version.

Re: Olympic Games Tokyo 2020: The Official Video Game - A Golden Return to SEGA's Arcade Origins

JLPick

Sounds like a great collection! I'd still love to see California Games make a comeback (doubt it ever will) and I'd still love to see Sega bring some of their classic sports titles back for a comeback too...would love a new Virtua Tennis, Sega NFL and World Series Baseball or even College Football. This title will definitely be a picker upper for me though, although I'll also be picking up the Mario and Sonic one too!!!

Re: Was Halo: The Master Chief Collection Considered for PS4?

JLPick

Well, some of their IP's have come to Switch, with some more on the way, and many of Microsoft's IP's have disappeared from existence (Viva Piñata, Blinx, Voodoo Vince, Project Gotham, Amped, NFL Fever and more)...with the fact of how the XBOX one is being treated now, and if Microsoft has another console that does the same thing in terms of sales, I'm thinking they would start pulling a Sega after. Other than that, don't forget that Minecraft is on every console

Re: Guide: When Is Microsoft's Xbox E3 2019 Press Conference?

JLPick

@NintendoFan4Lyf Forgot about the sequel for Ori. And yes, it is a fantastic and beautiful game! Since the box never said 'only on xbox' I was hoping it would make it's way over to other consoles too, as it's one that I'd definitely purchase for PS4 and even Switch. The music is fantastic...like Flower and the game itself is just beautiful in visuals, so I'm honestly hoping this sequel lives up to it!!!! Thanks for bringing me that attention!

Honestly, would be nice to see, even though they cancelled the last Conker title that was to be for Kinect, if they are doing a sequel or a new title (that's like the one for N64) with conker...and hoping that the next Banjo (if there is one) isn't as bad as the 360 one was.

Re: Reaction: Sony Won't Be Scared of Google Stadia in the Slightest

JLPick

I'm not one into streaming, so this is a definite 'no go' for me...just like if Sony, Microsoft or even Nintendo do this in the near future, I'll still be out...you don't own the games, you're basically paying full price to rent them, and when servers are off, you just spent money for something you can't play anymore. I'm the one that would rather have the actual discs sitting in my home, to where 20 years down the line, I can still play them...the same goes for my movies and music too...I tunes songs have codes, if the artist takes the songs away, even if they are downloaded onto your computer, you still won't be able to play or even burn them...the same goes for the movies, as I actually purchased 2 in the past on Apple and both were taken away. Call me old fashioned, but if I don't own it physically, I don't want it!

This is also many remarks that many people would make, and something that Google is doing, isn't going to go well with the older market of gamers and consumers...it would be something good for people living in college dorms or constantly on the move with jobs, but with the fact that the internet and streaming is not where it should be for this (it seriously would need to be great and powerful, which it's no where close to this yet), it's basically a 'test' for google and consumers.

Re: Guide: When Is Microsoft's Xbox E3 2019 Press Conference?

JLPick

Microsoft needs to show some good games...Gears of War 5 will probably be shown, but I'm hoping for some good exclusives that pay homage to various genres, not just one. Love my XBONE, but my PS4 is always turned on and the Switch comes in second place at the moment. I'm also thinking that they'll announce the games that are coming over to Switch (Super Lucky's Tale and more), but also talk about their next console (if they're even doing one...keeps seeming that with all this partnership they're doing with Sony and Nintendo, that they're quietly taking themselves out of the console wars). What I'd like to see on the XBONE, is a new Banjo title, but also a new Viva Piñata title...sadly, I think it'll be Gears 5 and another Halo and Forza instead, but sunday will tell!

Re: SpongeBob Remaster Will Include Cut Content from the Original Battle for Bikini Bottom

JLPick

Owned it on Gamecube back in the days, and loved it!!! Since the show won't be getting anymore new episodes, this is a nice addition to the growing PS4 collection, as my kids love these type of games (Paw Patrol On A Roll and Hotel Transylvania 3 show it for them). Will definitely pick it up to add! Been a while! Don't know why this one in particular is a cult hit, but it's definitely a fun one in the series! Hopefully they re-release the others, even if it goes through the Playstation Store!

Re: Guide: New PS4 Games Releasing in June 2019

JLPick

Uh, I found Everybody's Golf VR at my local Gamestop last week, and it's on their store website too for sale. Did it get released early, or is the date on this site wrong? Also, are all of these retail games, or just the download side?

Re: Long Anticipated PS4 Exclusive WiLD Re-Emerges in New Art

JLPick

For some reason, and I don't know how long ago this was announced, I don't remember hearing about this game. Hopefully it's getting a release date here soon, or else they may as well make it for the PS5, which means a longer delay. Guess time will tell, but I can't wait for some release dates on these games that seemed to have gotten lost or became unknown.

Re: Feelreal VR Mask Hopes to Enhance Virtual Reality with Smells, Air, and Moisture

JLPick

And then you take off the mask after each time, clean it really good, smell the aroma around your house, spray potpourri spray all around, someone thinks you farted, you go around smelling like it, the smell's stuck in your nose and basically you just felt like you spent just as much as the VR unit itself to get a small attachment onto it.

As well as this sounds like a cool function for the VR, something that would really make you feel into the experience more, it's not something that many people will delve into...it's too expensive, especially when you also have to add on the cost of each scent package. It can get expensive, and if it doesn't sell well...well, you won't be able to find the scents anymore, then you're stuck with something that you don't really get full use for. Would be nice to see what Sony will be doing with the VR for the PS5 eventually, but until then, this became a little too late for coming out.

Re: Jack Tretton: Sony Will Face 'Exponentially More Competition' with PS5

JLPick

@Rhaoulos Same here with Rare...Super NES and N64 was a great time for them...then came the 360, where VIVA PINATA just seemed like it would be more fit on a nintendo console instead. It was a shame, and still never understood why nintendo didn't keep them...just a shame on what happened to them and why Microsoft isn't really using them anymore...as far as I know, Rare Replay and Kinect Sports Rivals are the only ones they made on it. I believe there was a Conker game that was going to be made for their VR unit (which Conker looked awful), but that was canned. Would be nice to be able to play Conker's Bad Fur Day again on a nintendo console (as well as a sequel that's just as naught and some more Banjo Kazooie). Even when I play the Rare Replay, I just picture holding the (what I called horrible) N64 controller in my hands...plus, I still think they made the better Donkey Kong titles, granted the 2x new Return ones were pretty good as well.

Re: Jack Tretton: Sony Will Face 'Exponentially More Competition' with PS5

JLPick

@Rhaoulos I was thinking the same thing, but I'm sure they're keeping everything hush hush at the moment and waiting for Sony to announce everything...then 'boom', announce something that they'll have that Sony won't. Other than that, Microsoft needs the exclusive games more, not just the same IP's over and over again. Halo, Forza and Gears seem to be about the only ones they continue, then the others are forgotten about...even RARE doesn't do much for them like they did in the 360 era...but time will tell...I still like the XBONE, just not as much as the PS4.

Re: Jack Tretton: Sony Will Face 'Exponentially More Competition' with PS5

JLPick

As someone who actually bought all 3 consoles, I have to say that technically, I always buy the next Playstation and Nintendo systems. I bought the PS3 over the 360 (granted the 360 had more games I wanted to play on it), but it's sony's IP's that get me to buy it...Microsoft seems to drop many of their IP's after a short time (Viva Piñata, Kameo, Banjo Kazooie, Blinx The Time Sweeper, Voodoo Vince and many others, including Fable now). Nintendo's IP's are another reason I get theirs. Other than that, specs aren't really something I look at, but it's how many good games are put out, and I'm not just talking about 3rd parties. As I've been seeing since the 16bit era, whatever console sells more, the games pour out for it...Genesis, PS2, Wii, DS (over the PSP), xbox 360 (if just compared to PS3), PS4 and Switch right now (different kind of consoles though), PS1 and NES. This is what I've noticed. The only thing I hate about buying a new console, is everything else you end up eventually having/or needing to get (more controllers that are just as much as a new game, costs of many newer games until they start going down in price and the dreaded getting an internal or external hard drive). May not be a day one purchase for me, as I'll wait until prices on games and everything else go down (or I'll get games and techs first before the console), but will definitely be ready for the PS5 eventually...until then, will be finally getting caught up on the PS4...and I'm sure nintendo will be announcing their next console here soon too, as the Switch is getting close to the 5 year mark for them.

Re: Deal: You Can Get PlayStation Classic Mini Console for Just £30 in UK

JLPick

Every time I step into my local Gamestop, I see it sitting for $30 there...and it's been that price for several months and still, no one picks it up. I may the next time I see it as that and the NES mini keep on tempting me, but then I end up finding a game that I've been wanting to play on the PS4 and end up putting it down. Maybe I just need to stay away from the section of PS4 games but that will never happen!!!! Still though, at $30, it's a good price and it comes to the question of 'why not?'

Re: Sony and Microsoft Announce 'Strategic Partnership' on Various Tech Innovations, Including the Evolution of PlayStation

JLPick

In other words, microsoft isn't doing too good this generation, testing next generation and wanting to possibly have Sony hand them some money (by producing items for Sony, which sony would then have to give them some money for). Makes sense. Would be nice to see some of Microsoft's IP's make a return or get released on Sony's next console, and Microsoft does have a lot of various entertainment zones for the XBONE. With Microsoft releasing some of their games on the Switch (CupHead and Super Lucky's Tale), maybe we'll see games also released on PS4 or PS5.

Re: Nintendo Switch Overtakes PS4's Lifetime Sales in Japan

JLPick

With Japan, they have small houses (therefore, not a lot of room for consoles and stacks of games) and nintendo has always favored well over there, so no big surprise. Microsoft always had difficulty over there. But, Japan loves cell phones and the games on them, so it's understandable that they'd love the Switch for it's portability. If Switch was just a console, would it be taken into effect like this and do this well? Also, how would you really classify the Switch to begin with, it's a console and portable console, so it's like putting 2 systems against one system. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad that nintendo is doing fantastic again and Sony has a major competitor now...I honestly hope for Nintendo and Sony to go head to head with this next generation, but how will the sales of the Switch continue once Sony and Microsoft release their next consoles? Switch will look very outdated by then, but also, nintendo will be thinking about creating their next one (they seem to make a new console every 5 years, and the switch will be almost 4 by then). Time will tell! I'd like to see the overall sales for all around (lifetime) for not only Sony, but nintendo and Microsoft.
