Devolver Digital has confirmed Mycopunk will come to PS5 on 20th October 2026. You can see it in action in the newest trailer above, but another key piece of information is the reveal gives us our first PS Plus Extra game for October 2026.

During this month's State of Play livestream, Sony announced Mycopunk would be launching straight into PS Plus Extra on its release date. Now we know that date to be 20th October 2026.

For those unaware, Mycopunk is a game from developer Pigeons at Play, and it's been in an early access phase on PC for some time now. Next month's release date marks the start of its 1.0 state and expansion onto consoles.

It's a mission-based looter shooter for up to four players: "A ragtag squad of robot rejects are hired by the SAXON corporation and given one last shot at profitable glory (and avoiding the scrap heap). They are the New Atlas Hazard Crew, a ramshackle squad of exterminators sent to uncover the mysteries behind a planet-wide fungal catastrophy."

Mycopunk will be joined by a number of other PS5 and PS4 games in the October 2026 lineup for PS Plus Extra, which is due to be announced on 14th October 2026.
