Re: Round Up: RAGE 2 Reviews Aren't All Rock and Roll

JLPick

As I've had the PS3 since launch, and never picked up the first Rage game until just last year (after I saw it for $3 used, why not)...was very impressed by it, it had some enjoyment. Tempted to pick this one up, but will probably wait until it gets marked down to at least the $20 range...there's far too much else that I have yet to play or conquer, and still too much out in stores to get too. Busy library, and this will probably be another game that I'll play after I'm sitting in front of my Playstation 5 games!

Re: Could Ghostbusters: The Video Game Be Sliming PS4?

JLPick

'He's looking right at me, Ray. I think he can hear you, Ray". Would definitely love to see this happen! As I got rid of my copy on the PS3 back in the day (a thing that I would later regret as it's expensive to get back), I'd be glad to play it again on the PS4!!! Would really be nice if they also added a way to do the VR on it as well, imagine that, not the weird one we got for the VR as a download.

Re: Sonic Movie Director Pledges to Improve Character's Design Following Fan Reaction

JLPick

Granted his lines seem like he's going back to his roots, how is it that nobody is complaining about Jim Carrey as Robotnick? He looks nothing like him, and he's not fat for it (nor in a fat suit for it). The whole movie looks like what it should, a kids film, but just like almost every video game to screen movie, it's always going to get the backlash no matter what they do, even if they change Sonic to look like the animated game version. The movie looks entertaining, and that's what people should be going for...to be entertained. For some reason, I found the Super Mario Bros movie entertaining, mainly because of the actors that were in it, and the plot was horrible and the movie never even came close to comparing to the actual video games. It's a movie, this is why I hope no one ever picks Uncharted up from the dust it's in, or ever make a Castlevania movie. I never saw the Ratchet and Clank movie, but I heard that was terrible (can't even find it in stores anymore), but I did see Assassin's Creed and Warcraft and thought they were horrible. Never saw Rampage either, does anyone know if that is any good or not?

Re: Arcade Classics Anniversary Collection - Old School Konami Kicks

JLPick

Konami had so many great games during the NES era that I wish they'd release or even re-release on the current systems. Still will be a purchase for me, even though not a day one purchase. Hopefully a vol 4 of Atari Flashback Classics will be coming soon (and finally include the 2 pitfalls and Jungle Cruise games). Will also hopefully await for Sega to release some of their other classics (how about a Dreamcast collection) and also waiting for others to be re-released...seriously, Goonies 2, A Nightmare On Elm Street, even Friday the 13th would be a nice one to replay! Since my NES died, and the Atari doesn't play well on HD or even 4K televisions, it would be nice!

Re: Guide: The Easiest PS4 Platinum Trophies

JLPick

@get2sammyb The word games by POWG (all of them) are easy trophies, you just have to play the puzzles through. I can think of many other easy titles to get all the trophies for, but some of them don't have platinum trophies for completing, which some should for the kiddie titles to make them feel good about themselves (Paw Patrol, as my kids were excited to earn every trophy but sadly, no platinum for it).

Re: Ghost Giant - A PSVR Masterpiece

JLPick

Can't wait for this one! I still have Moss to pick up and Play, as Astro Bot and Tetris Effect have been taking most of my time for VR! And, I still can't wait for Dreams!

Re: Feature: 5 Overlooked PSVR Titles You Really Should Play

JLPick

Carnival Games seemed to be an overlooked VR game too, and it's actually pretty fun. As for Werewolves Within, I tried it, but was sitting most of the time waiting for players to come in...after a few hours of no one, I ended up getting rid of it, but from what I saw, it looked pretty fun. Still love the VR for playstation...hopefully they improve it and give us Astro Bot 2 for the PS5. Up until then, gonna laugh at all the nintendofanatics that think Switch Labo VR is going to be the BEST VR ever!!!! And they say nintendo never copies!

Re: Hands On: Eating Everything in Sight in Wattam

JLPick

Don't remember it being talked about that long ago, but the game looks kind of fun and weird like all of the games that come from this company. Will definitely pick it up, but I really wish that a game for the Wii would get a re-release...THE MUNCHABLES. This was a great game on the Wii that was overlooked and incredibly fun, even though the voices were horrible, other than that, a great addicting game.

Re: Soapbox: Sony's Done an Outstanding Job with PSVR

JLPick

I love the VR headset (granted I look like Robocop when I put it on). The games are fantastic (not all, but most) and I still find myself playing Astro Bot, Moss, Playstation VR Worlds, Doom, Rigs, The Inpatient and Until Dawn Rush Of Blood quite often. The only thing that sony needs to do, is bring more to the table with the retailers. As there are some great games out there on the download side, many consumers don't see that, they only see what's available on the retail side, which means there should be more and more released for it, even if it's quick-tie-in titles...just make it look like it's still getting the fantastic support it is. Other than that, I wish that they'd also make some games for it that I've been waiting for, or think that would do good for it. Here's the list that I could see with them making:

Sports Champions 1-2, Eye Pet, Kung Fu Rider, Carnival Island (yeah, basically bring the Move games back into existence), Medieval Moves, Sorcery...even a Wonderbook-type Harry Potter game (the money seems to be there with Harry Potter)...also, Lemmings, Little Big Planet (would look great in VR) and one that wouldn't be made by Sony, but by Sega...Super Monkey Ball. Honestly, there's many that could be released, and the old Move games could get a second chance instead of letting those franchises die out. I've still been waiting for some decent sports titles to get the support too, rather than just quick tie-ins. MLB The Show would look great in a VR version and Basketball, Football, Hockey, Tennis, Golf (granted we're getting Everybody's Golf, but a need for a realistic one) and even Volleyball would look fantastic with first-person view!

Re: Round Up: What Was Announced During Sony PlayStation's State of Play Livestream?

JLPick

Didn't watch it, missed the old 'downloadable' tv-episodes they did on the PS3 back in the days (sorry, forget what they were called). Loved them, and being able to get a freebie theme for downloading the episode! All those people that are stating that sony copied nintendo, apparently never realized that Sony actually did it before nintendo with those PS3 episodes. Nintendofanatics always think nintendo was the first for everything, and it's kind of a shame. It's fine to be a fanboy (sorry to say that I think all the companies have something fun and interesting to chose from, and own enough of the consoles and games to prove this), but if you don't know the actual truth, you should keep the comments to yourselves.

Other than that, glad that the VR has lots of games to look forward to, and let alone, this is the first time that Sony did this, so just like a TV Show, the first episode is always the most boring, even if it wasn't. They'll get better with each continued one, learning from their mistakes and listening to the social media to learn what they can do better. They're not going to announce too much, or they give themselves nothing for later episodes!

Re: Ex-PlayStation Executive: Google Stadia Starts Inevitable Shift Away from Consoles

JLPick

Guess if it goes this way, with streaming and never being able to officially own a game, then I'll be done. I'd rather own the game with it's artwork case, own a movie (I don't buy movies online like that), own music (sorry I Tunes, you don't officially own the song). Sorry to say, I may be old school in this, but there's no way I'll only stream. And sony should know that it won't work and shouldn't be too worried...they're the ones that made the PSP Go and Playstation TV, and we all know how those two turned out!!!!

Re: This Teaser for Oddworld: Soulstorm Has Us Hyped for the Upcoming Remake

JLPick

Can't wait! Now, if some of the other games that had long franchises would release on PS4, I'll be happy...Super Monkey Ball (what happened to it since the VITA), Sly Cooper and Twisted Metal (still have yet to see a new one on the PS4) and there could be some others to possibly re-release (how about Billy Hatcher And The Giant Egg from Sega). Other than that, this will definitely be one that I'll be waiting for, as I just completely beat Toe Jam And Earl 4!!!!

Re: Good News, Everyone! There's a New Sonic the Hedgehog in Development

JLPick

I'd still like to see another Sonic Collection that features, Sonic Adventure 1-2, Sonic Shuffle (seriously, does anyone remember that gem from the Dreamcast) and the PC Sonic titles. Would also be nice, granted if it's on Switch or others, Sonic and the black knight, sonic and the secret rings and sonic colors get re-released as a collection too. Other than that, love playing the sonic titles (granted the Sonic The Hedgehog game on PS3 and 360 was plain horrible due to bad camera angles and sloppy controls), and I'm looking forward to a new one!

Re: Poll: Have You Bought Devil May Cry 5?

JLPick

Waiting for the tax return to come back! Have quite a few games to add to my collection on PS4...possibly with maybe adding one to the Switch so it stops collecting dust. Too many games coming out, too little time.

Re: Yes, This Is Apparently Sonic in the Sonic the Hedgehog Live Action Movie

JLPick

It doesn't look as bad as the form of other characters that came to film light (Garfield, Odie from Garfield and many more)...but it will probably flop...the main reason it will flop...JIM CARREY. If they even wanted it to do good, at least put an actor that doesn't over-act and at least had a movie that did good within the past 15 years. Dumb and Dumber Too was a flop and Mr. Popper's Penguins didn't help. Then, he ends up going on talk shows and talks trash about his movies (remember the Kick A** 2 speal). If he doesn't make it flop, then the audience that doesn't go see it will make it happen. But...at least it's not a sequel to the awful Rocky And Bullwinkle live-action movie that was made!!!!

Re: Oh Boy! There's Now a Rubik's Cube Game for PS4, PSVR

JLPick

Why can't someone re-release some classic titles for the VR? I can name a few that could work:

Lemmings, Little Big Planet, Eye Pet, Sports Champions, Kung Fu Rider, The Shoot, Carnival Island, TV Superstars (yeah, basically anything that was made for the Move or even Kinect), Pac-man (could actually be a neat concept), Spongebob (again, could be something good considering that platforms work...Astro Bot was fantastic), old arcade style games (imagine an Atari Collection in VR mode), more sports franchises (big name sports...a baseball game that makes you feel like you're in the field and at bat...even having to look up to catch a fly ball), Mod Nation Racers (just to bring it back to life) and many of the good Wii-3rd party titles. Even a Wonderbook play element with Harry Potter or even bring the Buzz games back in this style. Heck, even game show type games could be fun (Wheel Of Fortune or even a classic Wipeout game). The possibilities are endless, but it seems like it gets more quickie titles that somehow cost too much to buy and download. I love my VR though!!!!!

Re: Guide: New PS4 Games Releasing in March 2019

JLPick

Toe Jam And Earl and Devil may Cry for me!!!!! List is somewhat small, but it's still the system I play on! Xbox one is in second place and in dead last (as for some reason I still find it dull and boring) is the Switch...seriously don't know why I hate the Switch, but I still find it boring.

Re: Where Can You Buy PlayStation Move Controllers for PSVR?

JLPick

Around my area, even though they don't have many, you can go to some places (gamestop and even some used stores that carry game items) and pick them up used for about $35. Other than that, for the ones that never owned them on PS3, yeah, this is a big deal. I remember getting the PSVR Batman bundle. The Batman game said it's compatible with them, but here to find out that you NEED them. Luckily I already had 4 for the PS3, so I just moved 2 over to the system, but still...there was a reason for owning 4 on the PS3. Still though, I'm looking to picking up another 2 eventually, but up until then, I can still find the bundle packs in the stores where I'm at, granted that $100 seems a lot for just 2 move wands. Then we go to the Navigational controllers, which run for $3 used around me!!!! Anyways, I'm just hoping for most of the MOVE games from the PS3 era to come to the VR. Would be nice to play Kung Fu Rider, The Shoot, Start The Party, Eye Pet, Sorcery, Medieval Times and Sports Champions with full on VR action!

Re: Soapbox: PSVR Bargain Adventure - One Man's Attempt to Reclaim His Gaming Glory Days

JLPick

Seems to be like myself. My wife and I both love playing the games...own a big amount of retail games, the VR and downloaded games, but we just don't have the time to fully enjoy them...we play the party titles with our kids, but other than that, there just isn't a big amount of time when you work and have a family...takes me forever to finally beat a game fully, and I'll probably start earning Platinum trophies for the PS4, in about 10 years from now! (joking there, kids are getting older, which means more time to play and have a life with the wife). Other than that, I'm sure the article wasn't about hiding it from his wife...it was about reliving his childhood. For some reason, owning the PS4 makes me feel like a child again too. There's so many retail titles out for it in various genres, and playing many, takes me back to the Atari and NES hey days, and I love remembering the times of my brother and friends and I booting up some of the classic games and sharing memories (mainly when it was cold or wet outside). For people, like myself, that don't own the original consoles and games anymore, this is what we have to do, and with it being a big price (granted games were as much as they are now, back then), it's still a lot of money when you have a family to take care of.

Great article!

Re: Sony's Manchester Studio Is Small But Highly Experienced

JLPick

Hoping for some great games for the VR that aren't really quickies. Still though, favorites are Astro Bot, Moss, The Inpatient, Until Dawn Rush Of Blood, Robinson The Journey, Playstation VR worlds...and would really love the ocean-shark one to become a larger game!

Re: Talking Point: Could Sony Lease Out Its Dormant Franchises?

JLPick

A Good amount of titles could be made for the VR too, giving some of them a new audience for the ones that never got into the MOVE...Eye Pet, Sports Champions, Kung Fu Rider, TV Superstars, Start The Party, Carnival Island, Little Big Planet (any would be neat to see), Lemmings (definitely could work), Daxter (a PSP remake to work with VR)...heck, even a Twisted Metal VR or even Syphon Filter VR could work. Surprised that Sony doesn't bring more of their franchises to the VR. Hopefully, when the PS5 releases, and if they release a new VR head set, more titles will be added...at least a sequel to Astro Bot. Maybe a new Knack could come to the VR too.

Re: Talking Point: Could Sony Lease Out Its Dormant Franchises?

JLPick

@Infinite_J_777 Wasn't the best game, but could definitely be redone to work with the VR. Would be a neat idea to have the VR on and take on the role of a dragon. It wasn't that bad of a game, just for back in the days, the controls seemed to get sloppy. I could see Little Big Planet made for the VR too, that would be another one that could work since Astro Bot seemed to work well!

Re: Talking Point: Could Sony Lease Out Its Dormant Franchises?

JLPick

I'd love them to do it, but only for certain companies that will put the love into them. Ubisoft did good with the Mario and Rabbids title on switch, and they brought back Star Fox (in a small way) to Starlink. I'd love to see a new Ape Escape, Hot Shots Tennis, Summer Heat Beach Volleyball, Sly Cooper, Daxter, Secret Agent Clank, Loco Roco, Patapon, Folklore, Lair (yup, could see this one happen for VR), Sports Champions, Eye Pet, Tourist Trophy...list could go on and on. Let Sony work on the BIG titles, let other companies come in and lay their hands on the others...no matter what, Sony and the other company will still make their money, and it puts even more exclusives on the table for their console. Granted, we wouldn't see many of these happen until the PS5 and 2020 era, but I could see various companies picking them up. Sega needs to start doing it more too, granted most are coming back, the Genesis had some great first-party IP's and so did the Dreamcast (and the dreamcast didn't really get it's chance too much, granted some of the titles were re-released on Gamecube and PS2 and the sequels on XBOX). This is something many companies need to start doing.

Re: Poll: What's Your Most Anticipated PS4 Game of 2019?

JLPick

Can't wait for Devil May Cry 5, but there's so many on there, and I already have a big backlog. Still though, does anyone know when the Toe Jam and Earl 4 game is set to come out? The one that I'm waiting to find out more for, is Mortal Kombat 11...I'd love to see it add not just Jason Vorhees, but Freddy as well, and also add a few other horror movie franchise goodies!!!!...how about Pinhead, Blade from Puppetmaster, The Creeper from Jeepers Creepers and even the possibility of Chucky from Child's Play? Heck, I'd even go with the original Frankenstein and Wolfman to battle it out!

Other than that, Devil May Cry 5, Team Sonic Racer, Crash Tag Team Racing, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, Dreams, Shenmue 3, and if it's still coming out this year or not...Last Of Us Part 2

Re: PS4 Edging Closer to 100 Million Units After Strong Holiday Season Sales

JLPick

@Derpie1 Thanks. I knew the PS2 was the highest console ever with the Wii behind it, just didn't think it was that big of a seller. You're right, I don't think the PS4 will catch up to it, but figuring on how long the PS2's lifespan was, and even after the PS3 came out, it still could be a possibility. I'll give sony another copy after the PS4's go down, pick up a second copy just in case the original passes away. Other than that, a fantastic console!!!!

Re: PS4 Edging Closer to 100 Million Units After Strong Holiday Season Sales

JLPick

Will definitely cross the 100 mill mark. I do forget though, I know the Wii sold over that, but what was the PS2's total sales (considering the PS2 was strong for almost 10 years). Gonna be close to see if the PS4 outsells the PS2 before it completely closes...we still have another 5 years plus to see if it officially happens. I also hope Sony's next console dominates too, but after Microsoft's bad mistakes, I'm seeing Sony get a run for their money when Microsoft tries to get back their fanbase from the 360. Other than that, with Nintendo also giving both companies a run for their money, it'll be interesting when the next consoles hit, considering that nintendo will probably also be joining a year or so after them (if they still follow in their footsteps of every 5 years, a new console).

Re: Feature: The PS4 Games You Already Forgot Were Released in 2018

JLPick

Agony and Vampyr should be on it...seems like many people forgot about those 2 (as what it looks like around the stores here, as they have dropped down in price dramatically). As for the Inpatient, as a late getter into the game, I've rather enjoyed it...at least the atmosphere surrounding it, but I wouldn't have paid more than $20 for it (as that was the price I paid)...it's still rather good, granted there's nothing more to do than to walk around and push a few things, but it is a good game to add on the VR. Other than all of this, there's a few more games I could add onto the list...but it depends on what list you would want. There's many games that were looked away from, that are relatively good games (as usual), but there are some that are just plain horrible too. Too bad there's no way on this site to give our own judgement and reviews of certain games!!!!!

Re: Poll: What Games Do You Plan on Playing Over the Holidays?

JLPick

So much, I'm sure the kids will be playing their Paw Patrol game, and they'll be playing their Nickelodeon Kart Racer game from Christmas (as well as probably grabbing the horrid Switch finally off the shelf to play a few games...been laying in the dust for quite a while!). As for myself, a little of Gems Of War, Everybody's Golf with the wife and she'll be playing her upcoming Spyro Trilogy game and probably some more Disney Land Adventures on the XBONE...yup, we have all 3 of the consoles! Other than that, it's Christmas, so it'll be National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, A Christmas Story and It's A Wonderful Life on the TV, two tired kids, two tired dogs, a tired ferret and not enough coffee and eggnog in the world for the whole day!!!!

Merry Christmas everyone!!!

Re: Can We Please Just Give Up on the Uncharted Movie?

JLPick

Animated series would be the way to go at this time...other than that, if I was to look at directors for a movie like this, I'd choose either Steven Spielberg or James Cameron. Both always have the visual effects backed up for them, and this, to make a hit movie, would definitely need that. Plus, if Spielberg did it, nobody would call it a true Indiana Jones rip off (which you know would happen, but also, Spielberg did the Indiana Jones movies, so they wouldn't have too much to complain about). Other than that, if it's taking this long, it's time to give up on the whole idea. I don't think the Ratchet and Clank movie did too well, and as many other video games-movies go, not many do (besides the fact that I still love Silent Hill and for some reason still have memories of seeing Mortal Kombat with a large audience in theaters...and I also enjoyed the Super Mario Bros movie). In other words, what I'm really trying to say, an Uncharted movie is going to need a big budget...not a big budget, horrible movie.

Re: Guide: Upcoming PSVR Games in 2019

JLPick

Is the everybody's golf one an update to the one that's out now, or is it a brand new title in the series? Can't wait for that one and Dreams though, and interested in the ace combat 7 one.

Re: Guide: The Best PlayStation Christmas Gifts for 2018

JLPick

I actually got the coasters and one of the lamps. I also found 2 really neat coffee mugs at Gamestop and picked up both of them! Didn't know they made POP's of some of sony's brands (too busy getting the Alice Cooper and I Love Lucy ones to look I guess). Surprised that sony never released anything that has to do with Astro Bot, and there seems to not be anything else releasing of Sackboy anymore, which is kind of a shame (whatever happened to the little big planet series)

Re: 'My PS4 Life' Tells You How Much Time You've Put Into Your Favourite Games

JLPick

I remember in January getting an email from Sony that told of my account and all of this information for 5 games (it was my top 5 games that I played the most and how many hours and trophies were received through them). It was nice then, just to see, but would rather have rewards for the time and trophies (yeah, that'll never happen). Anyways, would be neat if you could just look it up yourself onto the console, like you can on the Wii, Wii U, DS and 3DS...not a big thing to add, and even though it's not the best thing to add (there's way more that they could add instead), it's just something that would be nice to see how much of a life we all don't really have!!!!!

Re: New Dinosaur Pack Brings Three More Beasts to Jurassic World Evolution on PS4

JLPick

@get2sammyb There's a few games that are still high in price that I was wondering about (Cars 3 is one, as it looks like my kids would enjoy it, but I'm not one to pay $50 for a disney game...however I saw it's on sale for $10 on the store, I'd rather have it retail...the only other ones I've been waiting to go down in price...Friday The 13th...only because I want to keep it in the wrapper to keep as a keepsake...and the Sims 4 (seriously, if they're going to charge that much, include all of the DLC for free instead of charging extra $10 for just a few things).

Re: New Dinosaur Pack Brings Three More Beasts to Jurassic World Evolution on PS4

JLPick

@get2sammyb It's actually really good and fun! As the price goes, I ended up getting it by trading in a few games, but I was waiting for the wonderful "I bought it, now the price will drop" which never happened. $50 isn't too bad...The Sims take forever to go on sale, and they're always high in price too (especially high if you add in the DLC costs), but yeah, it's worth it...the only problem is if you end up spending all of your money, but there's a 'reset' button on the game, to where you can just re-start the whole level (granted you lose everything you did up to that point), but it's really good and the graphics are incredible for it!

Can't wait for the update, took a while off from playing it (Harvest Moon Light Of Hope and Horizon have been taking my time away from it). Great game with gorgeous graphics...was leary about paying the price for it, but it turned out to be worth it...granted it takes a while to learn the ropes of the game...plus, it has Jeff Goldblum's acting and voice, so it makes it worth it even more...granted it would have been nice to have Sam Neil's voice too!!!!

Re: Sony: Our Players Demand Single Player Games

JLPick

As I love the single-player experiences, yeah, I do agree with needing more in the way of the multiplayer experience too, as Ps2 and even PS3 had plenty. A new Buzz game would be a nice addition and even some of the Buzz Jr titles for the kids (except have Buzzers or use controllers, instead of smartphones). My wife and I hate playing them using smartphones, and you go figure...will that game work 20 years from now? They could definitely make a great game like Mario Party (except with their own IP's) and add some more trivia and party titles to the mix too. If they could do all the genres for all gamers...including family titles and kids titles, they would definitely give nintendo an even more run for their money. Also, I'd love to see a new Mod Nation Racers, Playstation All Stars Battle Royale and also a return of some of the greats that got left behind it seems...Loco Roco, Patapon, Twisted Metal, Summer heat Beach Volleyball, Wild Arms, Syphon Filter, Socom, Little Big Planet (whatever happened to it after part 3), Sly Cooper, Jak and Daxter, Ratchet and Clank (we had a new one ever year on PS3) and even try to bring back some of the Move games from the PS3 over to the VR (would be a good collection to have Sports Champions, Eye Pet, Kung Fu Rider, The Shoot and Start The Party on the VR!!!!).

Other than that, Sony is just showing that they have great and strong IP's, and I'll agree that the story-driven games are great...but don't forget the ones that aren't too story-driven too.

Re: Guide: Best Kids Games on PS4

JLPick

I could add a few more to the list, as these are ones that my kids also play...honestly surprised that they weren't added in some ways...

There's 4x Skylanders Games
2x Disney Infinity Games
Just Dance
Snoopy's Grand Adventure
Hotel Transylvania 3: Monsters Overboard
Ben 10
TMNT: Mutants In Manhattan
Transformers: devastation
Cartoon Network Battle Crashers
Atari Flashback Classics Vol 1-3
Disney Afternoon Collection
Dynamite Fishing (my kids love this one)
Angry Birds Star Wars
Putty Squad
All Star Fruit Racing
Paw Patrol On A Roll (this one is an obvious pick)
Nickelodeon Kart Racers

Again, this was my opinions on them, as Ratchet And Clank and Knack are still too difficult for them. I can also add the Lego games too. There's a few others on the Playstation Store front that I could list too, but the Dynamite Fishing is fun for them (granted that there's a patch that needs to be done with the trophies...as many are impossible to get due to glitches). Flower is another great one that my kids love...and Flower offers the 'Can't Die' mechanics and gives them the peace with the incredible music! Surprised that FLOWER wasn't added for this list!!!! Also surprised about the Paw Patrol game.

Re: Sony Thinks of the Children as Senran Kagura Producer Laments Censorship

JLPick

Sony's somewhat been like this since the PS2 era. There was a game called BMX XXX, that Sony took out the nudity and the videos of real strippers, where Microsoft and even a hard-hitter nintendo kept it all in.

As far as this goes, I'm glad. There's no need for the amount of nudity and everything else in the games, especially when many kids get their hands on it, but in all honesty, they watch it on movies, tv and listen to it in music, so really, there's no big difference, just push the ratings boards more if anything, but even that won't stop it. I'm a 39 year old parent, so I wouldn't show my kids anything like that, but...like any of us parents...we can't stop them from seeing it at a friends house or someone else's house...and that was like that even when we were kids! I remember...never swear or cuss around the parents, but at school and around friends...it was a different story!!!! As with all youth...back in my days and I'm pretty sure it's like this now...you're not cool unless!!!!

Re: Resident Evil: Director's Cut - Iconic Survival Horror

JLPick

Gotta admit, granted I was later into the PSone, this was a classic horror game...granted I fell in love with Silent Hill more. Also, the PSone's version is still better, with what I would say, the Gamecube getting the second best version of it. Can't wait to play the next remastered version on the PS5, XBONE 2 and SWITCH U2...I'm sure it'll keep happening every generation!!!!! Anyways, great to find the memories of this!!!! How about an article on the Legacy Of Kain series!!!!
