I guess this counts as a spoiler since I still haven't finished my initial RE4 campaign from the Gamecube days and never knew how the game ended.

There was room for both a Switch and a PS5 on my shelf so they are playing nicely together.

This just reminds me how badly I want a new RESISTANCE game on PS5.

@OmegaStriver I also have an office in my house that is for work and I don’t use it as a place for entertainment. It’s called compartmentalization. My initial comment had a little bit of joking in it but it must not have come across in print.

It’s fine for people to use their PC for gaming. I, however, never have and never will because I spend my time using it professionally for work and absolutely want a complete disconnect from it when I need entertainment. My choice, my opinion yours is not wrong and neither is mine. I don’t want or need it connected to a tv.

I still cannot fathom ever sitting down at my PC to play games. I, conversely, cannot imagine ever sitting down with my Playstation to do work. I also still purchase albums and music rather than steal or stream it so maybe everyone can just get off my lawn and move along from my comment.

Tom Holland was a terrible choice. Andrew Garfield was also a much better Peter Parker/Spiderman.

Obviously this isn't a popular opinion but I felt like the last God of War game lost my attention way faster than all previous entries. Kratos felt heavy and sluggish in the controls, Norse mythology has NOTHING on Greek Mythology and the selection of enemies left a lot to be desired. For what it's worth, I loved the Uncharted games but also despised both The Last of Us games for being too slow and boring.

This game is the reason I have been desperately trying so hard to purchase a PS5.
The fact that I still can't find a PS5 yet is the reason I keep holding off on playing No Man's Sky. I can't even explain the torture this feels like anymore.

Hard to believe it's been 8 months since release and these things still aren't being sold in stores.

I haven't touched a Madden game since '97 on SNES.

Too bad Zigguraut isn't releasing the masterpiece they purchased named Advent Rising. If they could somehow remaster that and fix the framerate issues that would be one of the best games in history.

When I can finally open a webpage and easily click "order" or walk into a store and buy a PS5 straight off the shelf, I will purchase and play this game. Sadly, the RE: Village Gold edition will probably be out before PS5s are easy to purchase.

I have to wonder how many people actually liked the MK movie, got online, saw a lot of people talking about how bad this and that was about it, and then decided to adopt the herd mentality. Same goes for Star Wars movies, etc. Seems to me that a lot more people would probably accept it and admit they enjoyed it if there weren't as many people telling them they shouldn't like it because of X and Y.

I remember when complete games used to be released physically. Now we mostly have nothing but companies releasing half-baked versions of games and patching them out with downloads that won't always be available (in theory) down the road.

Why would I pay the highest (retail) price a game will ever cost for the worst playable condition it will ever be in?

Strange. All of my 8-bit and 16-bit games and consoles are still working like a charm in 2021.

I hope they can find a way to return to Greek Mythology with a fresh new twist. The Norse GoW setting was extremely uninteresting to me and came across as them trying to throw away all of the previous entries in the series in a disrespectful way.

I've recently been spending around $70 per game on several NES, SNES, and Genesis carts to fill out my retro collection.

Ghosts n' Goblins Resurrection has been handing me my backside for the past two days...and it's almost exactly the game I was hoping it would be.

Wow. I thought the Nintendo Direct was dull.
I'm starting to think this year will keep me digging through my back log for quite some time.

Does Sony know that we can't play games on their "apologies"?

This is not a Sony problem.
This is an issue with the internet. Period.

Gamers are basically only now being subjected to the same things that toy collectors, shoe collectors, and thousands of other product based users have been dealing with for years.

Look at the bright side. There really aren't any system sellers out that require my money.

I picked it up at Target in the U.S. for $9.99 tonight.

I'm almost convinced that the PS5 doesn't actually exist. With Chinese New Year almost upon us, it might be April or May before people can purchase one without a major hassle.

Unfortunately I've found it impossible to buy a PS5 for retail price so far. I've been on Best Buy in the US every single time it's went on sale and can never get to the "complete you order" part before it's sold out. Even when it's supposedly been up for sale for close to an hour (last week), it would never allow me to complete the purchase. Shame.

I wonder how much longer it will be before I can just walk into a store and purchase a PS5. I'm in no hurry, but wouldn't mind picking one up sooner rather than later.

Is the DualSense truly a game changer and more than what’s in a JoyCon or is it mostly marketing hype more than anything?

I have such a huge backlog of games that I can't even justify buying a new console anytime soon. Also, I am still using my original SNES without a single hiccup since I opened it on Christmas Day 1991. I miss the simpler days.

I hope they produce a classic, “PS1 gray” DualSense controller with the colored buttons.

Wait a month after the game is out and retailers will have it for 40-50% off. Happens all the time.

I want a set of (25th anniversary??) panels in "gray" to make it look like an original PS1.

From those studios, the only thing I’ll miss is Wolfenstein and Doom.

I will happily wait a month or two after launch to get these $70 games for 40-60% off like I've done with the last few generations.

What was with the music for Godfall? I found it completely out of place for the gameplay.

This is where I think most people are confused:

If I put a PS4 disc (Ghosts of Tsushima, for example) in a PS5 will there be an update/option for it to be 100% identical in every way if that same game is released on a PS5 disc with, presumably, additional features like ray tracing, resolution, etc., that will not be accessible if put into a PS4?

I would most likely purchase it digitally since I refuse to use Spotify.
