They still need to make D1 for PS1 available digitally on Sony platforms.

The game on disc doesn't support analog stick, which always blows.

As a digital download, that would be fixed and you would get a digital manual too.

They could make D1 a pre-order bonus for D2 Resurrected too, which would be amazing.

I wonder if they've considered a PS5 update for D3 UE?

It already runs at 4K on Pro, so all they need to add is the haptics...

Adding FF7 was a shocker...

But the Plus+ version can't be upgraded on PS5.

So Square probably sees this Plus+ release as more of a glorified Demo.

They're only doing this, so people start the game and then buy again later on PS5.

Not to mention this series will probably be finished on PS5 anyway, so there's that.

On the upside, people can check out the game and then transfer your save to PS5.

I'm starting to think this game may never return to PS Store.

I doubt CDPR will ever have the balls to sell DLC for it either.

This game seems to have developed into a Black Eye on the entire industry.

Mixed feelings here... almost wish they tried to continue with existing setup.

New Helmet will still be wired & new controller design means more expenses.

Current VR setup was at least fairly cheap for those with old Move & Nav controllers.

I would have liked to have seen how far PS5 could have pushed the original PSVR helmet.

I fear that chip shortages will embolden scalpers and lead to scarce systems for the rest of the year. But if you're waiting for a black PS5 with 1TB internal storage, I guess it's all 'par for the course'. I can wait...

What can you do in this add-on, are there missions and NPCs?

I have tons of movies on BD & UHD that use top rated Atmos sound.

DV is an enhanced HDR type and I have some UHD movies with it too.

Recently bought a UHD movie player for $150 that does both instead.

Due to these limitations, my excitement for PS5 was diminished a bit.

I remember when the Wii U came out without any Dolby Decoding.

Because Nintendo didn't want to pay the licencing fee and that was it.

Or when PS4 Pro '4K' console came without a 4K optical UHD drive.

PSA: you can add free games on PS5 without a system in Sony App.

That's not vey reassuring, they needed to knock that down fast.

Guess we're to expect the bare minimum and just simple bug fixes.

After watching a lot of Cyberpunk takedowns on YouTube (like the one from BeatEmUps), I'm starting to wonder if this game has a future at all. Everyone seems to be super disappointed and it's entirety possible that CDPR will just put out a few patches and move on. Not every game is a No Man's Sky situation. There's thousands of games that are badly reviewed, then simply sink & disappear. Given the overwhelming negativity, they may just decide it's not worth it.

We need an article on future of PSVR...even speculation.

Sony's ban on PS5 PSVR games is puzzling and alarming.

When you kill something off, it's that much harder to ever bring it back again.

I just can't stand white consoles.

Didn't like the white Wii, Wii U, PS4, or Xbox S.

It's easy enough to spray paint PS5 side panels, but disassembling and custom painting the PS5 DualSense to match is a nightmare. I guess I just have to wait till Sony comes up with something else.

Now they need to make premium black grip/gloves to cover-up the ugly white controllers...

Isn't the PlayStation install sizer bigger than Xbox?

We're probably close to 110GB at least, if not more.

At some point, CDPR will probably announce that the only real solution is to delete your save and start over with the latest patch. They probably already know this, but are afraid to say so just yet.

This all came about because CDPR lied and covered-up the problems with the game. Then they said they should have focused more on PS4/X1, even though that was the only console version they were making for like 8 years. There are no native next gen versions yet, just BC. Then CDPR offered refunds for everyone, but dropped the mess in Sony's lap. Sony now has to deal with all the unhappy customers and problems, so they pulled the game. MS is going to keep selling for now, because they have an automated return policy based on set criteria. But they might be forced to take action at some point too, if things boil over on Xbox.

The worst part is they said it ran "suprisingly well" on consoles in interviews and then hid the product from sight. That shows prior knowledge, bad-faith, and a cover-up. This could easily turn into a class-action lawsuit with the CDPR being force to compensate early adopters. If Sony even smells a whiff of that, the game may not be back on PSN for awhile...

My prediction: it will be on all platforms eventually.

But it will only be 'free' on GamePass, Bethesda still needs to earn...

Maybe they should have developed Cyberpunk as a PC title initially and then worked on the console ports afterwards. These shoddy console ports are going to damage the reputation of the developer and the franchise. I think the new Baldur's Gate game is coming out on PC first and then ported. These companies need to learn their limits.

My guess is they'll relaunch the game next Fall/Holidays.

Unless they patch the hell out of PS4 version and the price drops super fast.

Apparently, the optical drive is pretty loud (which sucks).

PS4 Pro drive is also very loud and makes me think it's failing. At least on PS5 the optical drive is easy to replace (unlike Pro).

Is this game any different from the PS3 game?

PS3 was a 1080p port of the PS2 game with extra levels.

I think it also had new features that used SixAxis for basic motion.

If so, it almost sounds like the PS3 version was better (like Okami).

A few years back, I got a Minecraft green Xbox S at Kohl's BF sale. It was a good buy & good price and has appreciated in value. So, yeah Kohl's gets into the game biz for a few weeks of the year.

In order to protect their good name and reputation, eBay should have banned the resale of next gen consoles till next year.

This whole thing is a black eye on the industry. At this point, it make crypto-currency look legit and respectable.

Remasters of PS4 games?

There was a story that this bundle was delayed so they could retool the 1st game. It doesn't sound like that's happening (?), which is a little disappointing.

Wow, Sony is dropping some big shoes at the last minute. PSVR is basically dead and that list of games that don't work correctly on PS5 is pretty big. Not a fan of Jim Ryan, every interview he does is more bad news.

There was a website in Asia (?) that briefly listed a PS4 version of Demon's Souls. It might have been a mixup, or maybe they're planning to eventually tap the huge PS4 market. It would be a fascinating port, I'd love to see it.

My bad, I must have confused an article on `Coming to Xbox` with `Coming to Gamepass`on PureXbox site.

I thought the graphics looked too cartoon-y, but was still interested. Then I noticed it was $60 for a 20GB game. Then I realized the Demo was restricted. Then I heard it was free on GamePass, so they have to make up for that by apparently overcharging Sony players. I'll wait for a big sale, Thank you...

If this is a full price game, some may chafe at a remaster costing that much. But this feels more like a remake, so the price is probably more warranted. I'm just saying, there may be PR hurdles depending on price and marketing...

Minecraft doesn't have a Pro patch, so Boost Mode may be in the mix.

Alot of people forget that Sony had already emulated the PS1 on every PS3. But then they stopped that on PS4, so they could monetize old games. After making boatloads of money in recent years, some people hoped Sony would go back to emulation for PS1 & PS2. But we knew months ago that Sony had walked away from BC, the PS5 doesn't even have a CD laser...
