I just got the game on Black Friday, so this is very welcome.

I was on the fence a little, but this is the last single-player AC game.

It should be a very solid game with loads of content now.

Make sure you turn off auto-pay...

Three tiers is honestly too many and would confuse people even more. Two would be better, only Plus and Now. Nintendo has also shown how easily this can be blown: they overcharged and under-delivered, used crappy emulation, and now no one is signing up.

What alot of people want is actual BC, where you put in an old disc (PS1/PS2) and play the game in an emulator at 3X resolution.

If Nintendo is any example, the emulation/BC/streaming 3rd tier will cost far more than most people are willing to pay. So my excitement is very much contained.

Was anything added to the VR game?

Wow, didn't know this was a sequel. I thought physical game was a remaster. Maybe they should've put a 2 in the name just to be super clear.

No Pac-Man Plus?

Disappointing, that one's been on many of the recent home arcade units.

After the DF breakdown video, I'm not touch this game. No way.

I'd rather put my PS2 disc into my PC and just play with an emulator.

It may not be his intention to punish, but that is the actual result.

Also sad that to get a quality game you have to mandate one version only.

Seems like many big developers like 343 are a total mess and can't be allow to wander.

Phil bought a multi-platform publisher and forced them to support a single platform.

Bethesda breathed a huge sigh of relief, because they can't ship finished clean games.

I guess when you give up on the idea of selling games to people, it makes sense?

I feel sorry for anyone buying this on Switch...

At best they get one game on the cheapest 8GB cart.

I suspect these new versions were will indeed look better than the emulated PS2 classic versions and may have some improved aiming/driving mechanics.

But I'm guessing the licenced music will all be converted to DLC for $1.99 per song. Given how many songs that were taken out of the Trilogy (aroung 50?), that could really add up.

I'm wondering if the GTA Trilogy on PS4 store right now has the complete game soundtracks?

If so, getting this version before it's gone might make sense...

Finally got Nex Machina from House Marque.

I'll probably buy some things on PS3 store soon, because I like the convenience of buying things directly in the store.

Honestly, I can understand why Sony is staying clear of this guy. He seems a bit unpredictable, prone to blaming others, and making threats.

I much prefer the old one due to the fun-factor and the Pacman-like colors. The new one looks more like a PSA warning logo, like 'Click It or Ticket'.

I'm getting sick of Plus games that are basically DLC storefronts in disguise...it's super obvious when DLC-galore-game is suddenly 'free". I remember when we got great games that were complete on Plus.

I think it's interesting that he's bring this up now after leaving the industry. I don't recall him attacking First Party games and Platform Holders when he was at Tt Games. So I guess he's not that honest after all, because he was keeping his month shut for 30 years.

Quake 64 is also included.

This guy is hustling the entire game industry and people are eating it up. If this crap game eventually makes any money at all, we'll have dozens of hustlers pulling the same crap. People will look back on this like they did with Cyberpunk, the autopsy will show later why we need changes to prevent these abuses. Sony took the money to feature this game on PS Blog and now this whole thing is blowing up in their faces.

I suspect this whole situation will be a complete letdown.

The people involved seem to crave the spotlight, no matter the cost.

He's going to hot swap two SSDs in the same PS5 or he has two separate PS5?

I wish all the recent Tales games had instruction/art books.

I think they stopped doing instruction books with Zestiria on PS3/PS4.

For Berseria, I ended up just getting it off PSN for $6, because case is empty anyway.

I think there's alot of reasons to be worried:

Studio buyouts, higher game prices, all scalpers, GamePass mentality, 'games as service', loot boxes, super-high retro game prices, endless remakes...

Allegedly, the game business is getting bigger. But the next crash maybe coming...

I feel like Sony is digging it's own grave in slow motion. They handed the portable market to Nintendo. Even Steam wants in on that. MS is scoring huge victories with Gamepass. Both MS and Nintendo have solid attempts at BC. And at Sony we have Jim Ryan, probably the most hated man in all of gaming. I feel like everything Sony has done for 2-3 years was misinformed, but they are too proud to course correct and would rather go down with the ship.

In the last year or so, my faith in the human race has plunged. We're getting worse, not better. People seem to be getting more greedy and depraved by the minute. Scalpers and criminals are multiplying while lazy people flock to them for instant gratification.

I really hate this guy and he should be fired ASAP.

He basically just said that all Sony cares about is AAA blockbusters.

This guy is the reason Sony sold out, got greedy, and got arrogant.

This guy is reason we don't have BC for older games (PS1, PS2, PS3).

This guy is reason we can't have smaller, more innovative games too.

Jim wants to charge $70 and just keep remaking Last of Us forever.

No wonder Nintendo/MS are running circles around Sony, thanks Jim.

It's kind of sad that Sony has to pay for something like this. I suspect Jeopardy has already had Nintendo themed questions because that's real pop culture, not paid pop culture.

Sony's in a tough spot because they conceded the portable market to Nintendo without a fight and Nintendo basically ran away with it. On the other hand, MS is the loss-leader who can basically gobble up entire publishers and give all their games away for free to gain more 'ecosystem engagement'.

Retailers should be furious with MS for killing their physical sales...

No, Sony and Nintendo are keeping Retailers afloat but there's no backlash from them.

Why should Retailers keep selling Xbox systems when there's nothing in it for them.

It's funny, because Sony's been trying to kill the Vita for years while competitors steal all the groundbreaking ideas that Sony rushed to abandon.

Unless this is what people think it is, there's going to be major trouble.

Shady viral marketing can be toxic if it fails. This game is probably doomed.

I hope we can eventually get a smaller, black unit designed to lay flat like the Pro. I would also like at least 1TB internal. I can wait a few years, if needed. I'm not interested in bulky white consoles and controllers with very limited internal storage (think white Wii U).

I bought a physical copy very early, because I thought this might be a lower print run. Then there was reports of serious bugs, so I delayed playing it. But the game is everywhere for $20 now, so I really should have waited a few months...

After playing with hype and hopes like some gigantic kitten, the people involved are now probably terrified that Konami will swoop in and sue them out of existence. Imagine what Nintendo would do to this scrappy band of malcontents.

Making a new IP exclusive is probably a bad move for Bethesda.

They will also sell very few copies due to GamePass, new loss leader?

But I can see why MS is demanding this, they desperately need Xbox exclusives.

Personally, there nothing on the Bethesda radar that I really feel I wanted anyway.

When a game gets free PS5 upgrade, does that mean you must install on SSD?

Don't have PS5, but tiny SSD seems like a huge problem or expense to expand.

Sometimes I hate this industry, I want Diablo Immortal on consoles too.

Modern Gaming: even the Demos are broken at launch.

Anyone whose interested should probably check physical prices.

WalMart is price dropping the game now, maybe around $30-35.

If the game comes back for $60 digital, that's a terrible deal at this point.

I think it's just sad that Sony has PS1 and PS2 emulators, but won't bring them forward to newer systems. The almighty Quest for Cash has tainted Sony's mostly stellar reputation. I guess I just have to hope my phat 60GB holds out or just switch to PC emulators.
