Can we delete the PS4 version yet?

Or will it try to reinstall everytime the disc goes in.

I've heard people say Sony's working on this or fixed it...

He just wants The Deal to go thru, so he can get a huge payday.

Wow, everyone was expecting P3 remake...

I played a ton of D3, but...

Since D4 might be more like Destiny, I'll wait for a sale.

Also, not a fan of the D2 inspired art style. Seems bland.

The media also over-estimated the impact of VR/Metaverse...

Nintendo once said people won't value games if they're cheap, I think that's true.

Streaming & Game Pass are creating disposable homogenized subpar 'content'.

Nintendo is also jacking up the prices.

Switch still costs far more than it should ($350).

Tears of the Kingdom will cost $70.

Game prices are really getting out of control.

Etrian Odyssey Collection is also almost $80...

And vast majority of people won't even be able to get physical.

It's time to start calling these super-high digital prices a scam.

Honestly, I'm waiting for a good sale later on.

$70 games, which are semi-broken at launch, suck.

I'd rather pay $35 for a fully patched game later.

I'm interested in AC...but what I really want is ER DLC:

I think Time went all-digital, like many other magazines.

The 'cover' might be just a mock-up for the story.

What's funny/cool about ER is the odd parallels.

At scenic locations, players will often look out at beautiful vista's.

Monsters will do the same thing and just stare out into the expanse.

Sometimes I wonder what they're pondering...as I stealth backstab them.

They should give us a choice to NOT install multiplayer....

I'm not upgrading Valhalla, till I can delete huge PS4 install...

Unfortunately, everything Sony puts out is overpriced.

No one will play $299 for a Remote Play device.

No thanks...ray tracing basically sucks.

On Elden Ring, it halves the FPS for better shadows.

How does a game this bland get to 150GB?

By most accounts, the game was content starved.

Can't believe I'm saying this, but...

Got the Switch versions for both Crossbell games due to better graphics.

Switch games are PC ports and the Playstation is a lower-rez Vita port.

I'm surprised they're still patching PS4 version...

Weren't they done with that version years ago?

Maybe they starting tweaking again after they added items from the show.

I think Sony's ultimate goal here is to break our dependence on discs.

They would probably prefer to make all discs go away completely somehow.

I'm glad I kept adding Plus games to my library even if I already owned the game.

I should be able to play any of the games without the disc now.

But I do wonder how people will feel when the PS6 can't even play a disc....

Kinda funny watching MS try to play dead.

Their argument is basically "we really suck".

I would prefer they don't buy Activision/Bliz, because...

MS doesn't get good games out, they just put Devs to sleep.

Too bad Sony didn't snap up Square's lazy fire sale.

If Uncharted is mostly over, a new TR game would be cool.

There's several Japanese-only Tales games.

Please stop re-porting Symphonia over and over.

Localize some 'new' games and the sales will be better.

The guy who 'discovered' this issue posted another video. He doesn't even run a repair shop. He just buys broken systems off EBay. He showed a set of PS5 motherboards he bought and each had a taped plastic patch covering the liquid metal. He noted that the liquid metal might have leaked out during shipping.

I ran mine horizontally for a few weeks...

It looked ridiculous, but that should be long enough.

Liquid metal should spread evenly during the test drive.

After the 'break in' test period, I went vertical. It just looks better.

Luckily I also have newest PS5 revision with reduced power & heat.

My first play through was challenging, but not impossible. The optional Bosses are pretty hard. My second play through was more of a victory lap. Due to more levels and Boss items, the game gets much easier.

I just wish From switched up New Game+ more. There are many special items that can only be picked up once and those spots are just empty in New Game+. Why not put a high-level crafting item or consumable there?

My biggest problem with this series is that Falcom can't be bothered to put the whole thing on PS4 or Switch. You can play the Sky games on PC, but they're not cheap...

I suspect Sony will use the Slim to raise prices.

Base 2023 digital unit could be as much as $499.

With external drive and new plates fetching $150.

Or you could buy a bundle with everything for $599.

They may show the smaller system first & talk prices later

Maybe they'll increase system storage to 1TB, if we're lucky.

I doubt we'd see a Pro till 2024, call it the PS5 60FPS Edition.

So they could have put it anywhere...

But they wanted the cable hanging off the front.

Nothing says 'the future' like cables hanging off the front.

Can't speak to Valhalla, but NG+ is wonderful in Elden Ring.

No one wants to start big open-world games over, from scratch.

NG+ is like a victory lap and a chance to use end-game gear.

I'm definitely interested...

But I usually get these Retro Collections on the Switch.

The smaller screen and portability make older games more palatable.

Essential for me as always...

Because I already have a game collection.

Are the 1200 revision unit out everywhere now?

Or is this latest drop just pushing out the last 1100s?

Can I assume this is $60 on PS4?

I wanted a PS5 redesign, but not like this.

Base digital unit with stick-on physical drive sounds very clunky.

In normal consoles, drive is slotted neatly above or below other hardware.

This sounds like my PS4 Pro and Wii U sitting next to each other, only as one system.

I'm waiting for a PS5 that has at least 1TB internal storage.

Even my old PS4 came with 2TB, which I'll admit is amazing.

My Pro has 1TB and that is the bare minimum I'll accept.

In a few more years, I can get a normal sized PS5.

Wow, that's funny. About a year ago, I finally picked up the PS2 game.

Guess I should have waited...manual was also B&W, which was disappointing.

I was hoping manual was color because of all the interesting characters designs.

So they're going to increase engagement by convincing us to sign-up for a subscription-based game rental service where you don't own anything. No thanks...

So they put everything on hold just to get GTA6 done...

But what if that sucks, runs like crap, or is just a 'Games as Service' treadmill?
