When we went hands on with NTE (or Neverness to Everness) recently, it blew us away. The free-to-play anime open world is like a melting pot of GTA, Zenless Zone Zero, and Genshin Impact – with a slick X-Files-style storyline underpinning it all.
Considering how polished the demo played on the PS5, we were always hopeful a release date may not be far away, and now we have official word: the game will release as a console exclusive from 29th April. It’ll also be available on PC and mobile.
Despite its strong anime style, this game plays a little bit like GTA, as you’re free to explore its open world of Hethereau on foot or by car. There are tons of minigames to try, and there’s a whole life sim element as well, ranging from part-time jobs to apartment decorating.
Pre-registration is open now, and dev Hotta Studio is promising copious rewards for all who sign up, including up to 20 Fabricated Dice and a free character, Haniel.

The dice can be used to pull for characters in the game’s gacha, but remember there’s no 50/50 gambling system in this game – you’re guaranteed to unlock the promoted character once you reach the required number of pulls. Amazing stuff.
You can wishlist the game on the PS Store, and we’d highly recommend you read our impressions if you’re eager to know more. This game seriously blew us away with its production values and overall polish on the PS5.
We think it’s going to really give the likes of Zenless Zone Zero a run for its money, which should force both games to improve.
