Playing Arc Raider still, will be playing that continuously. Started Kiborg and having a pretty good time with it. Need a single player game as both Kiborg and Arc are run based games.
Absolutely addicted to Arc Raiders. It’s just so good, every run is unique as well as encounters with other raiders who are mostly friendly but sometimes you gotta do what needs to be done. Only thing is two trophies are currently glitched but I can see myself getting the platinum for this game. On the side is a little Hirogami which the late levels are surprisingly challenging. Just picked up Dispatch so plan on starting that also if I can pull myself away for Arc.
Got the platinum in Sonic Frontiers and absolutely loved that game, hoping for a sequel. Started up Hirogami and so far it’s a cool indie game and I’m enjoying it. I got it on sale for $19.99 and I think that’s the perfect price point opposed to its $29.99 retail price.
Got the platinum in Yotei and should definitely be a GOTY contender, I personally have it after DS2 and Expedition 33. I fired up Sonic Frontiers and I’m absolutely loving it. The story is whatever but I’m enjoying just uncovering the map and doing all the challenges. Really digging the change of pace for the franchise.
Still playing and enjoying Yotei. The writing had been really good across the main quest and side quests with interesting turns. About 44 hours in and only 3/6 members killed. Pokémon ZA has me interested, so I started playing Scarlet which I had but never played and on the switch 2 it’s really fun so far. Enjoying the freedom to compete the game how you want and just catching Pokémon out in the open.
During the week I competed Jusant. I never expected a game all about climbing would be so fun and relaxing. I’m playing through Telltales Batman Enemy Within to get my 149th platinum which will put Ghost of Yotei in line for #150. Batman really fits the telltale formula with the detective aspects and being Bruce Wayne. The story and choices are really intriguing. Because I’m having such a fun time with it I picked up Wolf Among Us as I’ve heard great things and there is a sequel in development.
Got the platinum for Hollow Knight and Sword of the Sea during the week. Looking for a short game before Ghost of Yotei so I’m trying Jusant. Played an hour and it is chill and relaxing just figuring out how to keep scaling up.
Playing Sword of The Sea, cleaning up the remaining trophies. Also started the original Hollow Knight. So far I’m enjoying it, the boss fights are challenging but fair and all about knowing how to avoid their attacks. Great game but I don’t yet understand the hype but maybe that will change as I continue.
Got the platinum for Death Stranding 2, amazing game but some of the facilities were a real slog to 5 star. Not much gaming planned this weekend but if I find time maybe sword of the sea. I did try Sonic Crossworlds and it doesn’t feel as good as MK world but it is more fun.
Endgame of Death Stranding 2 en route to the platinum. Played and platinumed The Ascent which was pretty fun. The next game I’m looking forward to playing is Pipistrello and the Cursed Yoyo, game looks awesome.
Been playing the Amazing Death Stranding 2, but then Ninja Gaiden Ragebound stole the lions share of my playing time. Truly an amazing and fun game, just have to beat hard mode to get the platinum and then it’s back to DS2 which improved on every aspect of the first game. Also sprinkle in a little DK Bananza on the side.
I think Sony will see what Helldivers does on Xbox. Sony is seeing Xbox games dominating their top 10 games sold list and probably thinking they can do the same. However, keep in mind most Xbox consumers don’t buy games such as the PlayStation consumer. I think whatever live service games Sony still have in development will go everywhere possible, but the single player games will not.
Death Stranding Directors Cut. I played and beat the PS4 version at release, but I wanna get the platinum before jumping into the sequel which I bought on release to support. Dabbling in DK Bonanza but DS is too addicting.
Wrapping up the platinum for Clair Obscure and what an impactful game. Truly an amazing experience every gamer should experience. My GOTY so far, only Death Stranding 2 may have a chance of dethroning it.
Working on the Doom Eternal Platinum. Bought Death Stranding 2 for support but I’m contemplating playing the directors cut since I beat the game in 2019. Also been playing some Hotline Miami.
Not much gaming this weekend, but I did manage to platinum The Precinct. I had a great time with it, gave me a police experience that wasn’t boring like the simulators. Also loved the semi top down camera angle, reminded of the original GTA games. Highly recommend.
Trying to wrap up the platinum in Sea of Stars. I adore this game, what a gem! After I knock that out I’m going to play The Precinct. The old school GTA top down camera along with being a cop sounds like a grand ole time.
Traveling for the holiday weekend, but I’m right before the last story boss in Sea of Stars. What a great game, the combat is really intuitive and has good strategy involved. Can’t wait to finish up when I get back.
Wrapped up the platinum for X-Men Origins Wolverine. Such a fun action game that I wish we got more of. Not sure what to tackle next, the backlog is out of hand. Maybe Kena, maybe Black Myth Wokong, maybe Metaphor idk lol.
Wrapped up the platinum for AC shadows, by far the weakest story of any AC game in my opinion but the gameplay with Naoe is so good. Started Tails of Iron and having a blast with it. You have to be thoughtful about combat, if you just hack and slash your going to die within 3 or 4 strikes.
Finished up Crypt Custodian, I highly recommend that game for everyone. Currently playing Akimbot, a Ratchet and Clank clone without the budget. It’s ok, but the companion robot is very annoying. I bought Monster Hunter Wilds and will definitely be hopping on that.
Finished RDR2 story, it really enhanced the ending of RDR1 for me. I’d love to get the platinum but that is a very slow burn. I’m feeling Dante’s Inferno can be my next game.
I started 50 Cent Blood in the Sand but realized I can’t get the platinum due to the servers being down 😔. On a PS3 binge of simpler times so I have Dante’s Inferno, Deadpool and X-Men Origins Wolverine inbound.
Still chugging along in RDR2, but I managed to get almost every trophy except one in Horizon Adventures. This game should have been a $40 game. The level design is so limited and repetitive. You just run through until you reach a fighting arena, rinse and repeat. I guess this would be fine for younger gamers but compared to regular Lego games this is feature-less and gets boring. Also tried out Achilles Untold Legends and love what I played. Feels like a PS2 era action game with light souls like elements.
Playing RDR2 and enjoying it. The AI is so damn impressive, I haven’t seen games made this generation really match it so I’m even more excited about the advancements GTA6 will make.
Wrapped up the platinum for Maneater which was a fun little game. Now I have to find what I’m in the mood for next. I want more Red Dead but that 30 fps on console is meh. Still in a history mood and pondering AC3. Or maybe Black Myth…. Too many games lol.
In the endgame of Red Dead Redemption trophy hunting and again, just a tighter experience than the sequel imo. I think John Marston is a much better protagonist than Arthur which also heavily influences my opinion.
Been on a little history fix which led me to Red Dead Redemption, which imo is superior to the sequel. The 60 fps is fantastic and I haven’t played it since its original release so I’m having an amazing time.
Finished Mafia Definitve Edition and really enjoyed it. For some reason the 30FPS felt right for that world. My one gripe is there are way too many collectibles, over 100 feels odd for what the game is but the platinum is in sight.
Just wrapped up the platinum for Power Rangers Rita’s Rewind. A pretty bland beat em up. Still enjoying Diablo 4, and dabbling in PSVR2 games. The Transformers game was $12 and it’s a cool IP on rails shooter. Also wanna try Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge since it’s in PS+. Hope everyone enjoys the holiday this coming week!
Still enjoying Diablo 4! I also picked up Power Rangers Rita’s Rewind which is purely nostalgic, it looks like a really fun beat em up so I’ll probably hop into that also.
I’m currently engaged with a lot of games which is uncharacteristic for me. The main thing I’ve been playing is Diablo 4 and as a first time player this game is a blast. So far level 32 spiritborn class. Gran Turismo 7 is more enjoyable than I expected for a simulation driving game, getting gold in the license tests is an addicting thing for me, missing the gold time by a couple thousandths of a second is diabolical lol. Then I bought PSVR 2 and walk about golf is a top notch experience. GT 7 is really immersive and fun to play in VR, and the kayak game looks incredible but unfortunately made me nauseous lol, not sure if I was just fried from playing too long by that point so I’ll try again.
Playing through Legacy of Kane Blood Omen 2. Well on my way to the platinum but the game crashed and I lost maybe 90 minutes of progress which sucked. Decided to get the platinum in Twin Breaker in anticipation of Tri Breaker.
Currently playing two games. First is Legacy of Kain Blood Omen. I remember this game as a kid and it’s still great. Second is Wayfinder. I’m really enjoying it, a looter game that can be fully enjoyed single player but also with other players. It delivers on the whole type of experience for only $25 so I highly recommend it.
Got the platinum in Stellar Blade. Definitely a GOTY contender for me. Wanted to jump into something small and mindless so I started Squirrel with a Gun. Pretty fun so far and should be a pretty easy plat.
Now that the Pro is here I jumped into Stellar Blade and wow does it run amazing while maintaining beautiful visuals. Oh and the game is just really damn good.
Platinumed Hell Pie. Fun little platformer that has pretty good level and gameplay variety that wasn’t expecting. Started South Park Snowday and it’s meh but I’ll platinum it just for love of the franchise and it shouldn’t take too long to complete. Then I started playing GTA 5. Would love to get that platinum but the online trophies seem daunting.
Just got the platinum in San Andreas definitive edition. What an amazing game still. Won’t be doing much gaming this weekend since I’ll be watching the World Series and football on Sunday. Let’s go Yankees!
GTA San Andreas Definitive Edition. What a magical game. The updated graphics make it as good as any current game. It’s unbelievable that this is a PS2 game and the mechanics and systems not only hold up but are just as good or better than modern games (looking at you Saints Row). Just wow.

Ghost of Yotei and Battlefield 6. Loving both and been splitting my time with them pretty evenly.

Ghost of Yotei. Simply an amazing game. The combat is so fun and fluid and Atsu is a great protagonist.

Bouncing between WWE2K25 and The Show 25. Going to start AC shadows as well.

Trying to wrap up the platinum for MH Wild. Also playing the best sport sim in MLB the show 25.

Endgame of MH Wilds, might pick up WWE 2K25 because the roster and gameplay might make it the best 2K game to date.
