These 10+ PS5, PS4 Games Will Be Delisted or Disabled in July and August 2026 1

Oh boy, what a time for my bi-monthly article on delisted PS5 and PS4 games to drop.

For the record, I’m genuinely not trying to stick the boot in here, as I’ve been tracking these all year. I think it’s important for us all to know when digital games will be delisted or disabled, so we can act before it’s too late.

Obviously in the wake of Sony’s announcements regarding physical games, though, this article hits a bit harder this week. Fortunately, nothing is getting outright pulled from the PS Store this time, so that’s good news.

Anyway, without further ado, here’s what you need to know about:

  • DiRT Rally 2.0 (PS4): 8th July (Some Online Services Ending)
  • Madden NFL 23 (PS5, PS4): 13th July (Online Services Ending)
  • New World: Aeternum (PS5): 20th July (In-Game Purchases Ending); 31st January (Online Services Ending)
  • Let It Die (PS4): 30th July (In-Game Purchases Ending); 31st August (Online Services Ending)
  • PS Stars (PS5, PS4): 31st July (Redeemable Points Expire)
  • Tearaway (PS4, PS Vita): 13th August (Online Services Ending)
  • NBA 2K Playgrounds 2 (PS4): 20th August (Online Services Ending)
  • WWE 2K Battlegrounds (PS4): 20th August (Online Services Ending)
  • NHL 22 (PS5, PS4): 31st August (Online Services Ending)
  • NHL 23 (PS5, PS4): 31st August (Online Services Ending)

As I mentioned, the good news this time is that, at the time of writing, there are no full-scale delistings – just a lot of titles losing their online functionality.

Remember, online services ending can result in Trophies becoming unobtainable, so if you want a Platinum in any of the above games, double-check the requirements quickly.

In the case of DiRT Rally 2.0, the sim racer is losing its Racenet Clubs feature, although all other online services will remain for now.

This is somewhat similar to what’s happening with Tearaway, which is losing its Tearaway.me companion website in August, which included optional creativity features for fans of the game.

Madden NFL 23 will be losing online play, including its Ultimate Team modes, on 13th July. This will be followed by two other EA Sports titles on 31st August: both NHL 22 and NHL 23.

New World: Aeternum was already delisted in January, but if you’re still playing, all in-game transactions will be ending on 20th July. That game will be permanently taken offline next year, on 31st January.

Meanwhile, Let It Die’s in-game transactions will be ending on 30th July ahead of its servers being closed on 31st August.

Any points you earned from Sony’s loyalty scheme PS Stars will need to be redeemed by 31st July, as they’ll officially expire on that date. You may have received communication from PlayStation about this via email already.

And finally, 2K’s two lighthearted sports games, NBA 2K Playgrounds 2 and WWE 2K Battlegrounds, will lose their online services on 31st August.

One other thing I’ll hastily add here is that the PS3’s store is closing in August 2026 if you’re from Mexico, Honduras, or Nicaragua. Everyone else has got until July 2027 to buy what you want on the PS3 and PS Vita, though.

That’s the full breakdown of everything you need to know for July and August, then, but I’ll obviously update if anything else comes to light over the coming weeks.
