Just wrapped up the platinum for Power Rangers Rita’s Rewind. A pretty bland beat em up. Still enjoying Diablo 4, and dabbling in PSVR2 games. The Transformers game was $12 and it’s a cool IP on rails shooter. Also wanna try Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge since it’s in PS+. Hope everyone enjoys the holiday this coming week!

I’m currently engaged with a lot of games which is uncharacteristic for me. The main thing I’ve been playing is Diablo 4 and as a first time player this game is a blast. So far level 32 spiritborn class. Gran Turismo 7 is more enjoyable than I expected for a simulation driving game, getting gold in the license tests is an addicting thing for me, missing the gold time by a couple thousandths of a second is diabolical lol. Then I bought PSVR 2 and walk about golf is a top notch experience. GT 7 is really immersive and fun to play in VR, and the kayak game looks incredible but unfortunately made me nauseous lol, not sure if I was just fried from playing too long by that point so I’ll try again.

Currently playing two games. First is Legacy of Kain Blood Omen. I remember this game as a kid and it’s still great. Second is Wayfinder. I’m really enjoying it, a looter game that can be fully enjoyed single player but also with other players. It delivers on the whole type of experience for only $25 so I highly recommend it.

Platinumed Hell Pie. Fun little platformer that has pretty good level and gameplay variety that wasn’t expecting. Started South Park Snowday and it’s meh but I’ll platinum it just for love of the franchise and it shouldn’t take too long to complete. Then I started playing GTA 5. Would love to get that platinum but the online trophies seem daunting.

GTA San Andreas Definitive Edition. What a magical game. The updated graphics make it as good as any current game. It’s unbelievable that this is a PS2 game and the mechanics and systems not only hold up but are just as good or better than modern games (looking at you Saints Row). Just wow.

Plucky Squire has game breaking bugs but I was liking it before that. Some Space Marines 2 but I’m not seeing the hype, it’s just ok to me. Trying to platinum Trine Enchanted Edition and it is so good. The series is on sale so I went and bought all the other games. Finally Astrobot left me yearning for some early PlayStation titles so I’m almost done getting the platinum in Ape Escape. Would love a modern version and Sony recently showed they can do it

Finished and got the platinum in Astrobot which is what games are all about. Then I finished off the platinum in Sly Cooper 2. Now I’m playing God of War 3 remastered which oddly enough I never completed. It’s amazing and leaves me craving another God of War with that type of gameplay.

Astrobot of course! 100% the gorilla world and the gameplay is so polished and the surprises are so good! I don’t want to rush through this amazing game so I’ll break it up with some Hades and Vampire survivors. Also selling my Xbox since all their games will be on PS5 and the value is still decent. Might pick up Black Myth with some of the money.

Will continue playing Concord. I have been having a good time with it, the movement and shooting feels really good. I never wait more than 30-40 seconds to get in a match so those long wait time stories are misleading. The only playlist with a long wait is the competitive no respawn playlist. I also get into some vampire survivors for a couple runs, best 5 bucks anyone can spend.

Got the platinum in Cat Quest 3. I love those games as they are so charming and the gameplay is simple but fun. My next platinum will be my 100th one so I wanna make it a good one. So far the contenders are the last of us part one, red dead redemption, or GTA San Andreas. All 3 I have fond memories of from back in the day.

Jumped into V Rising and I’m hooked! The beginning is a little slow because you have to craft a lot of things but when you get your castle up and going it’s so addictive. While it doesn’t play like the classic legacy of Kane games it defiantly has that vampire power fantasy similar to LoK.

For the first time in forever I’m actively playing multiple games.
Avatar Frontiers of Pandora- almost done with the campaign and has been a pretty good time.
Yakuza Kiwami- never played any games in this series and all I can ask myself is why. Feels like the evolution of Shenmue and beat em ups, loving it and bought the whole series.
Wildcard football- I’m really digging arcade style sport games over simulation in my adult years and this is fun to hop in and out of. The wildcard system adds a layer of strategy in online play and now I’m looking at Super Mega Baseball 4. Happy Holidays everyone!

My son loves Roblox and I get it. There’s probably hundreds of games to play so anyone can find something they’ll like and the games are free with the app. The robux is mainly for buying accessories to personalize your avatar and some games have game passes to purchase such as private servers or items in the game to give an advantage. Roblox is churning money hand over fist and it’s smart of Sony and Microsoft to put it on their consoles.

Re: Forspoken (PS5) - Messy Action RPG Is Massively Hit and Miss

Bkzgr8ezt

Solid 7/10 for me so far. Dialogue can be meh but for me doesn't ruin the game. I'm digging through combat and mobility. On hard mode against tough enemies you definitely have to use your full repertoire of abilities. While the general consensus is it being mid, I think this game will find a sizeable audience.

Re: Preview: Forspoken on PS5 Feels Like a Weird Tech Demo

Bkzgr8ezt

Early in the game and while it leaves some things to be desired, I'm having a good time with it. Also I'm able to run it at at 120 FPS pretty flawlessly. Again, I'm still pretty early in the game, but so far nothing has really turned me off of keeping with it.

Re: Game of the Year: #9 - The Last of Us: Part I

Disappointed. Although the game is amazing its not new. It would have been cool to showcase a different game on this list. I guess when the full list is out whatever game a person feels got snubbed could have taken the place of TLOU.

Re: DualSense Edge PS5 Controller Is Coming Soon, and It's Pricey

Bkzgr8ezt

I don't think the Sony pro controller being a bit more than the Xbox pro controller is crazy. With all the bells and whistles of the dual sense such as the haptic feedback onto of the customization of the triggers and thumb pad then it makes sense. This product isn't geared for casual gamers or even many hardcore fans.
