It’s that time of the week yet again, folks – it’s time for us to talk about all the games we’re playing. Obviously, the release schedule has been absolutely stacked lately, so there’s no shortage of titles to choose from. Here’s what we’re playing.

The Arc Raiders Server Slam kicks off this weekend, so I'll be taking to the Rust Belt. I've been dying to get my hands on this game again since its Tech Test earlier in the year.

Silent Hill F was lost in the fog of my anticipated 2025 releases, until Push Square's community voted it as Game of the Month for September 2025, so now it's a perfect PS5 scare-fest for October.

I'm working on a bunch of different games for review, including Full Metal Schoolgirl, which I'll talk about in more detail next week.
That's what's keeping us busy this weekend, then — but what about you? Are you still working your way through Ghost of Yotei? Is Silent Hill F still holding your attention? Or have you moved on to something else entirely? Let us know below.

Last week I went through Miles Morales (my LEAST favorite of the new Spider-Man games).
This weekend I started Wolfenstein The Old Blood, but this time I am doing my screenshot journey
On the side I will have Little Nightmares III on the Switch 1.
Castlevania III Dracula's Curse on the NES and Pokemon Emerald for nostalgia injections
Have a great gaming weekend everyone!!!
Been playing Diablo 3 since 7am this morning. On my second character (crusader) at lvl 38 so pretty much that all day.
I’ll be dealing with my relatively small back log of Dead Space Remake, Robocop Rogue City as well on the PS5. Also as the family are away for a few days it’ll be time to get cracking on with Sons of the Forest on the PC.
Along with a few beers and football of course now the Premiership is back 👍
Have a great gaming weekend Pushsquarians! 🍻
Greetings fellow video game enthusiasts. I will be playing Pokémon Legends Z-A. Yes, it looks like trash. But there’s just something about throwing a Poké ball at a Pokémon and catching it that is inherently fun. That’s what I dreamed of doing while playing Pokémon Red back in the day. If the game was just that, I’d probably still play it.
Octopath Traveler II: There's a lot more to do compared to the first. Between collecting songs, secondary jobs/badges, and unlocking new areas, I've leveled my group to 31 no problem - and I'm not even starting Chapter 2's yet. It's a great compliment to the game that despite all this, I'm never bored and always eager to go back for more.
Sword of the sea and crow country loved ghost of yotei and very satisfying platinum.
Ghost of yotei and chained echoes.
Pokémon Z-A. I am suspecting everything else I was playing will temporarily be put on hold for a bit after my session last night. The discussion on its “Dreamcast visuals” is totally overblown and untrue. If we’re going to pick a topic that makes more sense to go after Game Freak about, it’d be the lack of voice acting…
Anyway, the gameplay so far is just so good and addictive! I had a hard time putting the game down now that I’m finally out of the introductory portion of the game and I have the freedom to play as I like.
I was playing other things before Pokemon, such as Absolum, Hades 2, and Yotei, but those games will be on ice for a little bit.
Also, I’ll be making a habit of showing off that I was on TV yesterday! Lol.
Woke up early, rolled out of bed and went straight to Ghost of Yotei. Completely hooked on it now.
I'm going to finish the story in Ghost of Yotei, and maybe go for the platinum. I've been using the map as little as possible, instead relying on the various outfits, charms and songs that enable exploration - but let's see how my patience holds up when I'm map clearing for trophies...
After that, I'll be dipping into the backlog for something a little more compact. Happy weekend all!
PS5: Battlefield 6 & Kingdom hearts HD remix 1.5 and 2.5. Currently busy with the first game but the dragon form of Malificent is kicking my ass.
Taking gigs behind Saul's back with Panam in CP2077. Left Kuttenberg to Trosky for a few side quests in KCD2. Still trying to scout that cuman camp in KCD1. Looping and looping in the incredible Deathloop. Might just complete AC Valhalla finally. Some few courses in EAWRC.
Still playing Wuthering Waves. Coming up to 60 hours of playtime and it's still a game I look forward to playing when I get home from work.
Should also be playing Coral Island in co-op.
I'm just about finished with Ghost of Yotei. Only have Saito to go story wise. And pretty much have done everything else, including all the Ainu items and vanity gear. What a game 👌
i.ve been Rotating Between Romancing Saga 3 Little Goody Two Shoes and Darksiders 1 Remastered.
Doing flipendos in Hogwarts Legacy and flip tricks in Skate.
Playing:
Been playing this game since monday and it still as great as i remember. Although back then i played it on PC and i don't experience any performance issues. Oh well, the frame drop when there's plenty of NPC and bigger open space are still tolerable.
Finished:
It's unfortunate a fun game like this has nasty performance & technical issues. The game got crashed when the roll credit shows up. So i restart the game and turns out that crashed also corrupted the save file which forced me to delete the save file. SMH. Why Ziggurat Interactive didn't fix this? :/
Finished it for the second time with Hard difficulty. I still believe this game should end Yakuza series or at least Kiryu arc. Sadly Sega doesn't have the balls to let Kiryu rest so they milked him in Yakuza 7, 8, and Gaiden which i think really ruin Yakuza 6 ending. sigh...
Have a great weekend everyone 🍻
Edit:
I think i'm also gonna play Ninja Gaiden Sigma 1 / 2 to give my respect to Tomonobu Itagaki. Rest in peace legend 😔🙏
@Bentleyma Where are you up to in WuWa? It's great. The most recent story quest was peak fan service.
Been playing Ball X Pit , pretty addictive so far 😃
I’m out of town this weekend back up in my hometown of Detroit so the only ‘gaming’ I’ll be doing this weekend is going to see the Michigan Wolverines play today, the Detroit Red Wings play tomorrow and then going to see my Detroit Lions take on Tampa Bay on Monday Night Football! Hope everyone has as much fun as I’m going to with whatever they get into this weekend! Happy gaming all!!
Bought Parcel Corps on a whim this morning when I saw it was £3.99.
So that, plus Suikoden II and Sniper Elite Resistance. Should be a good weekend
About 40+ hours into Yotei and finally starting to take down some of the Six. Mixing it up with some Bloodborne which I’m using fightincowboy walkthrough for. Feel like I would get lost in BB way more than other FromSoft games without a guide. Enjoy the weekend everyone.
@themightyant Just done the quest "The Maiden, The Defier, The Death Crier". Definitely one of the best games I've played this year.
Working this weekend but last couple of days been tearing into the newly released (for ps anyway) Aftershock dlc for Ion Fury. Its superb stuff from 3d realms, like a lost duke nukem title 👍
@ApostateMage safe, sensible, digital skating, I see 🤣
Did you ever try Session the skate sim? It's fiddly, but it is satisfyingly realistic and a good challenge.
On PlayStation:
F1 23
Won in Japan, Qatar and the USA, and locked up both the Drivers and Constructors Championship for McLaren.
Lies of P
Currently Level 79. Have cleared the Barren Swamp and am working my way through Collapsing Krat.
Little Nightmares
Playing this as my Halloween game. Working my way through the first level. Fiddly platforming plus fixed camera angles isn't a great recipe so far.
On other platforms:
Euro Truck Simulator 2
Delivered pesticides to Bialystok. Delivered beverages to Kiel. Delivered beef to Banska Bystrica. Delivered watermelons to Olsztn. Opened a garage in Bratislava. After 87 days my Ziggurat Spedition trucking empire has 29 trucks.
Monster Train
Lost as Hellhorned allied with Awoken on Covenant 1. Lost as Hellhorned allied with Melting Remnant on Covenant 1. Completed the card collection for all clans.
The Legend of Zelda
Farming rupees in the overworld to build myself up before tacking the first dungeon. Currently have 6 hearts, the White Sword, the Magical Shield, and am saving up for the Blue Ring.
I finished Bye Sweet Carole last night so I’ll be playing through Finding Paradise next as I didn’t get a chance to start it last week.
I’ll probably beat that in one sitting so I plan to move on to a game from my backlog after. At the moment I’m thinking about Deathloop, which I got for £7.99 in one of the sales.
Also Coral Island co-op later tonight and hopefully some Borderlands 4 co-op tomorrow night.
I might also do some side stuff in Expedition 33 as well if I can find the time and also jump into a couple games on the Arc Raiders server slam.
Lastly, I’ll probably chuck on some Overwatch 2 later tonight after some drinks.
Got to get back on Yotei. Ezo won't photograph itself now, will it?
Trying to squeeze every ounce of content out of Ghost of Yotei.
Clair Obscur on GamePass. The world and monster design and general art direction in this game never fails to amaze me ! GOTY without doubt.
Hours to be played on Battlefield 6 ..Conquest mode is still the greatest multiplayer mode ever known to man. Brilliant.
Also trying to crack on in the amazing Ass Creed Shadows ..a 1000 times better than Valhalla
Have a great weekend guys and gals ❤️
Battlefield 6 most of the weekend and hopefully get God of War Ragnarok finished finally i was going to go for the platinum but I'm not sure if I'll bother now.
I've been trying Arc Raiders. It's has incredible atmosphere and sound design. I just wish it was PvE instead of PvPvE.
My friend just dropped an EA wrc challenge on me..Chile,rere in the WRC hybrid class so I'm currently scaring myself to death in a Toyota GR yaris hybrid. Then it's back onto murdering people on BF6, although for the past few evenings I've been more cannon fodder and bonus points 🤣. Anyway have a great weekend folks 👍
I will be continued playing one of the best video games ever made in the excellent bioshock.i will also be continued be playing fan favorite the incredible metro 2033.i will also continued playing the instant classic the amazing dishonored 2.i will also be continued playing another fan favorite in the phenomenal the outer worlds with all the dlcs.and I will be continued playing another fan favorite the awsome kingdom come deliverance royal edition.i will also be watching legendary sitcoms TV 📺 comedy shows in family matters.good times.the Jeffersons.sanford and son.different strokes.martin.and saved by the bell.word up son
@Bentleyma You've got some great story to come (as well as some nonsense). Enjoy.
Who are you playing as?
I still mostly play as Carlotta, but mainlined Jiyan for a long while, and am now experimenting with Cartethiya, Augusta and Galbrena. Whoever feels most fun to play really.
@playstation1995 Great games my dude! The whole Dishonored series is probably the games I go back to and play the most, sometimes just one level or set piece, so replayable and fun.
Back from camping through a nor’easter I’ve achieved the following and I am playing:
Hell is Us platinum. What a game!
Cocoon platinum. I can’t believe I slept on this game for this long.
Currently I’m enjoying the ARC Raiders open server slam. I’ve pretty much quit MP games but I may get back to this.
I started 3 games this week. * Cronos*, which I can tell I’ll adore, Metal Eden, was in sale and I loved Reikon’s previous game Ruiner, and finally Ratshaker, perhaps the most bizarre experience I’ve had gaming in awhile.
That’s it. Happy gaming all!
I started to play 90' extreme skiing on psvr2, not the most beautiful game but looks better in the headset than one would guess from the trailers, the music and voice over may not be the greatest either, but are kind of fitting to what this game is going for. With this negativity out of the way, the sense of speed and the jumps are amazing! For the sale price a strong recommendation. Some people say that You may need a strong stomach. I haven't experienced any problems in this regard.
Then I am still playing FF XVI on ps5. Awesome visual and acoustic spectacle! The main story is strong, In my opinion, though a bit less surprising than what I was hoping for, and the side quests are a bit underwhelming like in most games. Overall I am still enjoying my time with it.
@Ravix I'm a pro at this one 😎
I never did try Session but I've got it in my PS Plus library. Might give it a whirl.
Played since last week 🙂
Ghost of Yotei - loving this game, its just so much fun to play! The open world, apart from being absolutely stunning, really invites exploration and I constantly get sidetracked in a good way and the combat is good and imo its just as fun to play stealthy as it is to just openly challenge the enemies. Soundtrack is also very good! Currently hunting the Kitsune 🙂
Battlefield 6 - so, my plan was to wait for this to be in a deep sale at least before buying it (didnt want to support EAs new owners) but then some friends I played a LOT of Battlefield 4 and Destiny with reached out and wanted to get the crew together again and I simply couldnt resist. So, despite giving EA and co my money which leaves just a little sour taste in my mouth (apart from the small chunk going to the actual people who made the game, you are absolutely worth giving money too) we´ve had som much fun playing multiplayer. Its really the best Battlefield since 4 imo, looks and plays great and I cant wait to play more, especially awesome when you have a good squad 🙂
Immortals Fenyx Rising + music. Currently listening through the discography of Osees (formerly Ohsees/Thee Oh Sees/OCS... seriously just stick with a name already!) and AraabMuzik.
I have and am playing quite a lot this week(end).
I finished HFW and started Burning Shores. The graphics in this game has surpassed anything else I've seen. I need a 700-word essay to fully convey my appreciation of this game. To think I kept it in the vaults of my backlog for 3 years!
On the portal, I am playing The Invincible which so far has been awesome. Written by the great Sci-Fi master Stanislaw Lem, the story is full of intrigue and mystery. Regis III is such an exciting setting, and the graphics are great. Furthermore, it is easy to play, so the game functions as a visual novel. A PERFECT game to stream of you have premium. In fact, it is more than possible to just sell the console and stream from a portal. I wonder how many simply have the portal and a Premium subscription - it is ingenious.
Also, I started up KCD 2 and since I made it to Kuttenberg, I initiated the dlc, but I couldn't smith to the masters' satisfaction, so I have to watch a video on how to smith again.
I’ve finished GOY and enjoyed every minute. I’m now thinking of starting Crow country or trying out Saga frontier. I’m in the mood for a JRPG.
Wrapped up the story on Ivalice Chronicles. I love it every time. I could go right back to Trails in the Sky as I'm only a few hours in. I am in the mood for some horror - Alone in the Dark was down to $25 on Amazon, so it'll be here later today. I also still have Callisto Protocol that I picked up for $5 last year as well as Conscript still in plastic. Lastly - I have Dead Space 2 and 3 that I've never actually played. It wouldn't be hard to break out the PS3 get some of that deep backlog out of the way. In any case, it should be a good one.
Have a great weekend, everybody.
@l_16bitWarlock_l Agreed. Judgement feels like a breath of fresh air. Yagami as detective + lawyer is a big contrast to Kiryu ex-Yakuza. And after Yakuza 6, i think Nagoshi already prepare to end Yakuza series and continue with Judgment.
But sadly there's a problem with Takuya Kimura agent and then Lost Judgment didn't sold as good as Judgment. So, Sega ditch Judgment and decided to keeps milking Yakuza, which probably the reason why Nagoshi left the company.
onboarded my friend to Helldiver 2, and we have been playing this daily for a time. this weekend itll be that and maybe starting Far Cry 4.
Pathfinder: Wrath of the Rughteous mostly for me. Almost 500 hours in. Almost finished. Good gods, almost finished. As in, probably another 15 hours or so.
Then I’ll be jumping into a mix of God of War: Ragnarok, Baldur’s Gate 3, Rogue Trader and maybe something under 100-500 hours long if might be so bold.
@ApostateMage it's really satisfying to play for a while. Steep learning curve, but one that can be tackled enough in one session to open it out to be really quite fun in more of a simulation way. It's pretty intuitive, despite being less gamey.
It has a cool photomode too. And the wear and tear is so satisfying as you wreck all your board art 😁
After finishing Cronos and Silent Hill f (both excellent games) I felt it was time for a meaty RPG. So I took out my backlog and pulled out Dragon Age: The Veilguard. So far I’m enjoying the game. Just got the necromancer to join my party so I’m not very far in the main story. But I am a completionist so I’m doing every side quest. Am I over the moon about the new “cartoony” art style? Not really, but it’s not like it’s preventing me from enjoying the game. Really happy with my choice!
On PS5 i will be continuing with the excellent Trails in the Sky, Silent Hill F and Bye Sweet Carole. Hoping to get all three done this weekend.
On Switch 2 I will be playing Pokémon Legends Z-A and Mario Galaxy.
More Ghost of Yotei. absolutely loving this so far and my GOTY for sure, not played Expedition 33 yet but it will be next year before I get to that!
Probably some Sonic Racing Transformed on the Vita too!
Happy gaming folks
Will continue playing Mafia Old Country and hopefully finish it this weekend.
Lot of sport in TV: F1, darts, NHL, PM (looking forward to LFC vs ManU tomorrow).
Whatever you'll be doing, have fun. Happy gaming, ya'll!
i’ve plopped back into kingdom come deliverance 2 after taking a break on the 5pro. in other dork hobbies ill be painting a non-sexy anime figure for an acquaintance.
Ball x Pit. I’ve been sucked in!
This weekend will be a busy one for me, so gaming might not be in the cards. My best friend is getting married today, and I’m the best man! It’s going to be a fun evening, albeit a long one on Sunday, if you know what I mean. And the following weekend I will be attending another wedding.
To provide a quick update: I’m probably 75% through Ghost of Yotei. I’m hoping to get the platinum in the next couple of (free) days I have. In addition, I’m approximately halfway through Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter and it’s one of the best remakes I’ve ever played. I’m so happy this franchise is getting more prominent in the West.
That’s about all I’m playing. I was hoping to have both games completed by the time Persona 3 Reload releases on the Nintendo Switch 2, but that is implausible. Anyway, that’s all I’ve got.
Last week, I said after platinuming Ghost of Yotei I didn't know if I should go back to Silent Hill f or move on to something else; I ultimately decided to go back to SH, and it was definitely the right move. It's gotten so much better since starting the game, and I'm enjoying it WAY more - to the point where I'm actually contemplating playing through a few more times to see how the story changes.
Other than that, I think I'm good on new releases for the year; maybe I pick up Battlefield 6 but that's nothing major. Seeing Hellblade 2 is on sale - may have to grab that!
I’m in act 3 of Clair obscur now. I was scared for a moment I wouldn’t have a chance to go back and clear up all the stuff I missed before after I finished act 2. The gesturals are easily one of if not my favorite side “comedy” characters in a game. I’m almost intentionally putting off going forward in the story because I don’t want the game to end. So good. Game of the gen for me unseating returnal.
Littles Nightmares PS5 Enhanced Version and LIS: Before The Storm Remastered. But itching to get back to Silent Hill f for a second run-through/new game plus stint.
Ghost of yotei and Yooka Re-playlee.
Yotei is superb 25hrs and 33% in taking my time. So immersive.
Re-playlee has improved on the original so much it's unbelievable
Still at it with the Resident Evil 3 Remake.
@themightyant thanks playa.dishonored to me is one of the best video games I ever play.its a classic and dishonored 2 is a instant classic. Word up son
Making sure my friends don't starve in Abiotic Factor 🍲
I haven’t touched my PS5 Pro or Nintendo Switch since early August. It was at that time when I relapsed into MMO gaming with WoW Classic on the PVE Anniversary server. It’s currently in vanilla, with Burning Crusade looming.
I have Dragon Quest 1 & 2 pre-ordered, so I will return to the PS5 in a couple weeks.
MediEvil the remaster/remake.
I need to finish off The Devil in Me before it leaves PS+. It's a great game but my god the tension in this one is bothering me way more than then others. The directional microphone part was horrible for how tense it was.
Other than that I'll do a bit more on Baldurs Gate 1 as I fancied a retro revisit.
Mostly playing Ghost of Yōtei, which i absolutely love. Great mix of combat and world exploration. I love the way many of the side quests unfold, which feel more organic than most open world games. And the game looks gorgeous 😍 even on base PS5. This is seriously a GOTY contender for me!
I'm 70 hours into my run of Ghost of Yotei, and am absolutely loving it. It is definitely a strong contender for Game of the Year, though my personal favourite this year has been Cronos: The New Dawn (and yes! I have played Expedition 33 as well)...
No gaming for me, I'll be at an all day festival rocking my face off.
Have a great weekend everybody.
Lorelei and the Laser Eyes for me this weekend. Really looking forward to getting stuck into it. I've heard it's rather good.
Alan Wake 2 and trying out arc raiders(loving it).
@KundaliniRising333 Can you or someone please explain ARC raiders to me? 1st time player here, server slam. I don't get it, whats the point of this game? I drop in with matchmade dudes, loot wires/metals etc in buildings, maybe shoot a few occasional drones and extract. Buy gear, craft gear, just to wash/rinse/repeat. Where the hell is all the action and firefights at? Only once I ran into a rogue team looking to steal.
I really thought I was gonna love it, after reading beta feedback and jumping on that hype train. I guess I thought there was gonna be action/events/missions similar to The Division. I was wrong for labeling it that before playing, but, maybe I'm just missing something here.
I had this tabbed an instant day one buy until I played this. This game is a clunky pointless mess, until maybe someone shows me the light lol
After my third run at it I finally got into Diablo 4 properly and finished the campaign. I was struggling to follow it previously for whatever reason and fell off. Actually enjoyed it a lot in the end. I’ll be playing some more of that, for sure - and I’ll probably get the expansion too.
Just need to finish the Diablo 2 campaign now and I have done them all!
Silksong is still my main game. I want to try and do everything and see everything the game has to offer. I'm still on Act 2. Put in about 120 hours so far. I've beaten 18 bosses, I have 7 lined up and I'm convinced there is still more of the map to uncover. I refuse to look at guides unless im banging my head against a wall.
Besides Silksong I've been playing Yooka-Replaylee, Celeste and Nuclear Blaze.
Have a great weekend everyone!
@StitchJones well I would firstly say like if you're looking for more Fast Pace action firefights then this just might not be what gets you going. The genre is much more of a slow burn in fact third person multiplayer games that have a PVP element usually are more of a slow burn because there's more tactical aspects that you have to consider when you can see around corners or see yourself in a bush and things like that but yeah the core gameplay is essentially and build your character over time. If you do look in the menus though you can see that there's stuff that's just not available during this server slam that are different like challenges and stuff like that so I think there's definitely going to be more content but if you don't like the core gameplay loop I don't think it's going to change your mind much.
My favorite multiplayer game of all time was the socom series and while it was a little more fast-paced because it's third person it just requires a little bit more tactical thought and it's less running gun in by Nature. Setting aside third person though it I pretty sure like hunt Showdown and obviously tarkov and stuff they're all very much so more of a high skill ceiling tactical slow Burn. However just like any multiplayer game especially one with live service elements the real goal is to just progress your character there's not really much else to these types of games I do like how this one though has a skill tree which I think is pretty cool because that's not as common in a lot of these multiplayer games and instead they opt for things like perks which is similar don't get me wrong.
But yeah my understanding is the core elements are the Looting extracting I think some of the aI enemies are actually quite good in terms of being more difficult . And it sounds like another aspect that's just not in this test is there's a lot of building different craft tables so that you can have the ability if you store it up enough resources to kind of have higher Rarity and more powerful gear that you can craft even if you do die and you kind of have that as a fallback.
I do agree with you though that I haven't seen many actual players but I have heard reports of a lot of camping of the extraction zones my biggest complaint really is the thick a bunch of the extraction zones disappear the longer you stay in a map so it just makes everyone have to use the same one at the end and half the time you've got someone camping in a bush and if you have to contend with that and drones also alerted and looking over the extraction site it can get kind of b*******.
I had my eye on this one mainly because of the aesthetic and that it was third person because I think aside from fortnite there hasn't been any really good third person multiplayer games since so calm and Sony's just completely screwed that off. So for me it kind of scratches that old Socom itch even though it's kind of a different genre but yeah I could see where it does seem very repetitive but I mean isn't that the case with all of these games and I don't really like the fortnite aesthetic so this is a good alternative. But if you want more just PVE fighting I would assume helldivers is your best bet but I'm not real big on that. So I might not be the best person to like respond to what you're asking only because I prefer slow Burns but if you like more running gun firefights this is probably not your genre and that's totally okay
@StitchJones sorry for the wall of text I was speech to texting this while at the gym
@KundaliniRising333 No, please don't apologize. I appreciate you responding and explaining. Like I said, this game was totally on my radar in a big way, so I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something here. After a few hours I've come to conclusion that this game is just not for me. That's prob my fault. I made up in my head what I thought it was going to be and I also jumped on the beta hype train that other players created.
I'm with you, Socom was excellent. I abso loved Division 1 and Esp 2. Division 2 is right in between them all. Its very tactical, alot of systems with gear, but can still be fast paced at times with huge fire fights. For 1st person live service, nothing beats Remnant 2 for me. But that is very fast paced, hence it being in 1st person I suppose. But the gear is very tactical and how things are in a puzzle of sorts was brilliant.
Oh well, at least I have a huge backlog to get through. I just wanted a live service itch to be scratched in terms of a post apocolyptic shooter since Division 3 is prob gonna be a next gen game yrs from now. Thought it would be ARC raiders, but apparently not.
@themightyant I'm just using Rover, Chixa and Baizhi. I'm not really that interested in getting lots of characters, I'm just happy to use the trial characters throughout the story.
@Bentleyma fair enough! You can play the whole game with the default characters. But they give you enough free wishes to get a few 5 stars. Enjoy!
I’m really enjoying Cronos: The New Dawn. It’s extremely good survival horror. Also making progress in Hollow Knight: Silksong. Happy gaming!
I'm going to attempt Not For Broadcast again. And maybe some octopath traveler 2 as well.
@Metonymy I finally got to start that last night, after beating Yotei. Splitting time between Cronos and Battlefield now, but I'm with you, Cronos has been great so far. Great Halloween game too
@StitchJones For some reason the slow, plodding pace is really doing it for me right now and the sound design is exceptional! I’m so excited to start Yotei.
Ghost of Yotei and Battlefield 6. Loving both and been splitting my time with them pretty evenly.
Still enjoying both Ghost of Yotei & Digimon Story Time Stranger
@Metonymy its funny you should say that, cause I'm going from Yotei to Cronos and I'm also enjoying the slower pace to counter and slow my brain down a bit post-Yotei. I tend to strategically plan what kind of game i start after the other. That said, you are positioned nice to transition from Cronos to Yotei. Yotei was amazing!
my "WISHFUL THINKING" list
I have an itch for a modernized TLOU multiplayer. Not the live service they tried, but just like TLOU1's mulitplayer. But updated with the newer engine/controls, new maps, modes, etc.
and Elden Ring has been a minute, so I'm so ready for a Soulsborne, but by Fromsoft themselves. Not Nightreign style, a single player experience.
Angry Birds Seasons (Windows Phone) - Still playing on the Halloween levels.
Gears POP! (Android) - Last week I fibbed a touch, now I'm on the end of my YT LP on here.
Flowerz (Windows Phone) - Still a decent puzzler.
cycled back to some early "classics" i haven't got round to. Resident Evil Village which I have to say i prefer to RE4 as I like the FPS view. Glad Requiem will have both options. Plus Returnal. I really like it but as I am a terrible gamer I am struggling with the difficulty level somewhat, so will have to see how fun i find it after the 100th time dying!
@FinneasGH this one has definitely got me interested.......
Sorry a bit off topic;
I just found out that digital PS3 games has expiration date :/
Last night i browsed my digital PS3 games information (push triangle on the game thumbnail). I want to see their file size and when i check PS2 classic Disgaea: Hour of Darkness, there's an expiration date that showed "expired". I tried to start it and it gave me error message "the license was expired and no more available".
So i go to the US store and turns out Disgaea was gone from my download list. Funnily the store still has page for the game but there's no download or buy option.
Then i check other games and Max Payne 3 and Hotline Miami 2 also has expiration date. They showed longass numbers like "145908424 days".
Luckily the rest of my digital PS3 games doesn't have expiration date. They either showed "no time limit" or didn't show it at all. But who knows if the publisher decided to removed these games from the store and download list...
But with this, my worries and dissapointment for digital games has increased. I think i'm gonna buy less digital games for now.
Anyone in here who still have a PS3, i suggest to boot up and check your digital games. Maybe some of them already expired.
I'm finally into Final Fantasy 7 rebirth and loving it. I've bounced off a bunch of FF games but this one has its hooks in. Only 20 hours so I know I've got a way to go...
Arc Raiders and The Precinct on Portal in between.
Control (The Foundation DLC)
Same as last week - Ghost of Yotei and Final Fantasy XI
I was tempted to download the Arc Raiders server smash, but none of my usual cohort are available and doing any form of PVP solo is my idea of a bad time.
@Eduard_Brenton omg hsve you low standards! It's pure trash! Especially the capturing other pokemon
The Secret of Monkey Island "Talkie Edition" via ScummVM. A fantastic version of one of my all-time favorites, mixing the 1992 VGA graphics and CD-audio soundtrack with the 2009 voice acting. More fun (and useful) than a rubber chicken with a pulley in the middle!
Play well, all!
Got the platinum for Ghost of Tsushima. Amazing game! Great story! Now, on to Echoes of the End. Good so far. Voice acting feels a little wooden though. And, of course, Elder Scrolls Online!
Still going through Ghost of Yotei, 50+ hours in and still loving it.
Approaching the end (sadly) but in time for Painkiller's launch next week.
Also helping my son with some harder areas in Yooka Replaylee (gifted it to him yesterday for his name day).
Have a fun weekend everyone!
@PuppetMaster tried restoring your licenses? (Google the process)
Feeling very annoyed and aggrieved right now! After 4 or 5 weeks of trying, and probably upwards of 20 attempts, my son, my mate, and myself finally managed to beat a Horde on Master in Gears 5 as a trio (with 2 bots too). We did all 50 waves, and at the end our score came up saying we had scored something above 670,000 points, but when we checked the stats, it has not updated at all. That run took around 2 hours and 15 minutes, and basically it was all for nothing! Yes, I know that we know that we succeeded, but the fact that none of us has updated stats to show that we have is very frustrating. Anyone that has actually completed a Master run will know how difficult they are (because if you all die, the run ends), but will also probably have done it as a team of 5, so for 3 of us to complete it makes it much harder still.
I don't even know whether it updated the fact that we did a run at all, as I though I am currently number 88 in the World as a Mechanic, I don't know where I was before today, as it is not something I keep a regular eye on.
All very frustrating, and to think that I did the last 26 waves with absolutely no sound, thanks to some bug or other, meaning I couldn't hear where the enemies were, made it all the harder too. As much as I love the game, stuff like this should not be happening 6 years after the game launched.
Anyway, back to the excellent Ghost of Yotei now, and hopefully my annoyance will subside...
@kyleforrester87 I already tried the suggested process like deactivated>actovated account and it doesn't work. There's also redownload but the game dissapeared from my download list and the store doesn't have buy/download option anymore.
I check delistedgames.com and turns out the game was removed back in 2015/16.

I guess NISA wants people to buy the remake :/
