This looks ok, but I'm still skeptical. SH2 was great, but they worked with an established game, I cannot forget the half-dozen or so crappy games that they released before.
Still, hoping it's cool.

@Propaperpusher It's not really a souls-like. There's no bonfires, no "souls currency". It's just an action game with very deep exploration. The demo was kinda cool, I'm looking forward to it.

It's ArcSys, so you'll have 12 characters at launch, and then they'll sell you 20 more over 2 years.

Kinda wish they would bring the Ori games over as well, the second one is especially amazing.
I bought NRftW's early access when it became available, mainly due to the art style and loving the Ori games, and I have to say that the game isn't that good.

Dude must've made bank to just move to Japan and start a new studio there, especially if he's going to Tokyo or Osaka. It's not going to be cheap.

@IntrepidWombat Open world with lots of stuff happening in the map at the same time. It's the same issue that Dragons Dogma 2 had. You have countless monsters in the map, each following their own routine

Man, the flying around and the combat in this game were really cool, shame that the rest was pretty bad.

I'm cautiously optimistic. SH2 was great, but the source was there to copy from. Their original games were mostly from bad to *****, so let's wait and see. I do hope it's great though.

It's probably set in 1915 and in 1943, and maybe later as well, it was called project century after all. Maybe the main character is an immortal. His eyes glow blue in both trailers.

This is the first time I'm a bit down on the show. I'm usually fairly chipper about it, on contraire to what people post on the internet. I try to take an optimistic look at the games shown, but this was basically and indie fest, with 2-3 big games mixed in. Geoff should've set expectations for it earlier.

That was very very good. Had a couple surprises, and a good variety of genres for different people.
Feels like it had a game for everyone.

I started with Genshin but migrated to Honkai as soon as it release since it was a turn based RPG and never left it.

Rogue trader was really fun (if buggy af). I was kinda looking forward for a new Pathfinder CRPG, but I'll take a W40K one.

We all knew that as soon as they implemented the Eververse store the armor that you were getting as drops would look very drab compared to the sets that were being sold.

We'll get a SoP in the summer about Ghost and that's it.

These look nice but are waaaay too expensive for the games that are on the disc.

No doubt that the game and Bungie and in hot water, but did they do anything to Paul Tassi's family? The dude has a huge vendetta against them, it almost seems personal.

@BAMozzy You keep repeating that "it's a license" but the files to install the game ARE in the disk, as I said you don't need to connect to the internet to install and/or play. You haven't read games directly from the disc since the PS2, but you still have all the files to install and run the games in the discs.
And no, it's not just older games and remasters, here is a list of the last few games I bought and install with no need for internet:
Dragon Age Veilgard
Life is Strange Double Exposure
Like a Dragon Pirate Yakuza
First Berserker Khazan
KC2
Monster Hunter Wilds (it installs even though you do need internet to play it).

Now I do understand that you need to install some patches for updates, and bug fixes, but most games do have a playable 1.0 version in their discs.
The only company that you really see going further away from this is Ubisoft, with their ***** "You don't own your games" take, and now it seems MS is doing the same even though you can fit the games easily into the discs, but MS has been pushing digital for awhile now as well.

@BAMozzy I have around 43 games that I can install and play without being connected to the internet (I test every single one).
So far only Jedi Survivor required internet to install.

Edit: I never understood why people defend vigorously the digital only part (not saying you do @BAMozzy) when we should always get the 2 versions, physical with the game or installer on the disc and digital for whomever wants it and that's it.

People can also check the doesitplay website, they have more than 2000 entries for games to show which can be played straight from the disc without downloads and the ones that cannot.

My hype went back down to a 5 after finding out that the game is a multiplayer game.
