This is an odd one for me, I bought the EA and played it and the game feels like it's built to be a live-service thing...or maybe just a game where they keep adding content? It certainly didn't feel like a SP, story based game. Love the art style though.
@IceClimbersMain at one point in the video the character uses an ipad looking thing that has the information he just got from the little girl he was talking to, so it seems it saves the information that you get from NPCs at least.
"at a level above Tempered!" And in April we will see everyone complaining that it is too hard, tempered was not a joke on World when you didn't have a min-maxed build.
Thank you for the review. I really need to check and see if there's video comparison of the versions, because the beta on PS5 looked like dog water, but I do prefer to play on the sofa instead of sitting on my desk.
@nessisonett The main set will deffo be in Arena, it's standard legal. I'm not sure bout the commander decks though, most likely not for now, but they're trying to implement commander into Arena.
Yo shoutout to Ben Hansen and MinnMax, dude keeps doing interviews with the same quality that you had in Game Informer with a lot less resources and he's not afraid to ask any type of question.
It still requires quite the beefy specs compared to consoles. I wanted to play the game on PS5, it's where I do most of my gaming, but I guess I'll have to go to PC for this one.
The power of MonHun is crazy dude. I was in Tokyo when MonHun 4 came out and you wouldn't believe the lines in front of the shops. It's something that got lost as the years passed.
I really don't like this wishy-washy response. I know that the game is pretty old and by now people have created their own head-cannon, but they (SE) should've just went with one of the girls, it would make for a better romance story, like Tidus and Yuna or Clive and Jill.
@Dragoon1994 I remember them saying that it wouldn't be a limited thing, so I'm sure they'll sell it in their site at some point again, just sign in for the notification.
This game is pretty great, even though the systems are a bit obtuse for someone who knew nothing of WH40K. I really dug the lore though. Owlcat makes some pretty good CRPGS, if people liked Rogue Trader I suggest you try Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous, it's one of the best CRPGs I've played. They're also going to publish "Shadow of the Road" by Another Angle Games, a crpgs set in a ancient Japan inspired fantasy setting, looks pretty great.
I'm still on the fence. My computer runs the game with everything on High and at 60 fps, but the comfort of playing on the couch in the big screen is something else. The game looked horrible on the PS5 thought, I hope they release a demo before release.
I guess....?! I was overjoyed that we were finally getting a 30 year old as a protagonist for a Final Fantasy (older Noctis was cool as well). I don't know, I'm really tired of the highschool setting, at least make it college since people are bit more grown up. The highschoolers from japanese settings are often shown as looking and having the mental maturity of 20 year olds anyway.
A friendly reminder for those hoping for 60 fps on PS5 that the game required frame generation just to run at 60 fps 1080p on PC. It will run like ***** on consoles unfortunately, which bums me out, I'm torn between getting a physical copy or play it on Steam.
I mean, great I guess. It's just another social media filled with different kinds of crazies, just like Twitter. The first post I saw when I created an account was a call to boycott GoodReads and join a new platform for the sole merit of being created by and african-american woman. On Twitter I get OF bots and unrelated comments on every post. They both suck in their own way.
@evan23 Once again, I can download those games right now to my PC and keep them in a disk forever or until the disk dies, with no issue whatsoever. So preservation is not the right angle to go at this, these games are not in a server that you need to access, the account is just an authentication thing.
@evan23 Those games won't go away, since you have the PS4/5 versions with the disk AND you can find pirated versions without the account requirements for PC anyway. If you're talking about games like Diablo IV though, games that you need servers to play, that's a whole different story, but the single-player PS games ain't it.
Loved the beta. I was already sold on the game because I'm a MonHun nut, but I was on the fence if I was going to buy it on PS5 since they released the PC specs. I knew it that it wasn't going to run well, but I never knew it would be this bad. That on top of the 9€ per month if you want to play online are kinda pushing me to buy the game on Steam, even though I prefer to play on the couch.

Love the art style though.
Re: Trails in the Sky PS5 Remake Looks Outstanding in New Screenshots, Trailer
It seems they finally improved the art style a bit, this game doesn't look like an old PS3 game like the most recent ones.
Re: The Alters PS5 Builds Upon the Grim Foundations of This War of Mine
Played the demo on steam and it was really interesting.
Re: Don't Sleep on Promising PS5 Dark Fantasy Hell Is Us

Re: Poll: What Was Your PS5 Game of the Month for February 2025?
I would say MonHun but I'm playing it on the PC
Re: Monster Hunter Series Producer Just Got a Big Promotion at Capcom
@puddinggirl He is yes. But nepotism aside, he actually seems like he did a good job, he's been working with MonHun forever now.
Re: Split Fiction: Friend Edition Is the Silliest Game Promo We've Seen in Ages
This is cheeky and fun, I like it.
Re: Monster Hunter Wilds' Big April Update Adds Harder Enemies as Difficulty Discourse Continues
"at a level above Tempered!"
And in April we will see everyone complaining that it is too hard, tempered was not a joke on World when you didn't have a min-maxed build.
Re: Monster Hunter Wilds (PS5) - A Timeless Formula Refined to Near Perfection
Thank you for the review. I really need to check and see if there's video comparison of the versions, because the beta on PS5 looked like dog water, but I do prefer to play on the sofa instead of sitting on my desk.

Abby's poster is kinda cool.

Re: Magic: The Gathering's Final Fantasy Crossover Boasts Truly Epic Artwork
@nessisonett They teased some art for other characters a few months ago, pretty sure it was Lightning, Emet-Selch and Sephirot.
Re: Magic: The Gathering's Final Fantasy Crossover Boasts Truly Epic Artwork
@nessisonett It's just the commander decks that target the 4 games. The main set covers all 16 games.
Edit: Btw today they'll be showing more on their Weekly MTG stream on Twich.
Re: Sony's Latest State of Play Set a New Viewership Record for a PS5, PS4 Livestream
That can't be right, according to the internet no one watched that crap.

@Only1PJA Man, that reference made me feel old.

Queue the sad trombone for everyone that thought this was anything but that
Re: Forza Horizon 5 Confirmed for PS5, Out This Spring
I have FH4 and 5 for steam and they're amazing games, very fun, and this is coming from someone who doesn't really vibe with racing games.
Re: PS3's Most Bizarre Game Will Have Its Own TV Show
Wait, Elliot is reprising the role? Shouldn't they let a woman do it?
Re: Rumour: God of War Will Tackle Egyptian Mythology in Next Game
@Oram77 She probably was a writer on Cory's game, which supposedly it is not a GoW game.

Re: Fans Are Buying Fewer Boxed Video Games Than Ever in the US
@Dragoon1994 They're sending the items from Belgium, but I feel you. I paid 10€ for the delivery alone when I bought the PS5 version.

Re: DOOM: The Dark Ages, Expedition 33 News in Next Xbox Developer Direct
Man, Clair Obscur looks so good. Its one of my most anticipated games for this year.
Just hope they find success and that GP doesn't kill their sales.
Re: Poll: Do You Use PS Stars?
I don't use it because I get all my games physically, so I cannot register them.
Re: Ghost of Tsushima Legends Is an Upcoming Anime Inspired by the PS5, PS4 Game
Gen Urobuchi writing it is a big highlight, he is commonly known as Gen Urobutcher due to the bleak stories he writes. Can't wait.
Re: The Fantastic Four Are Coming to Marvel Rivals on PS5, And They Look Freakin' Fabulous
I really like the artstyle they got going on Rivals.
This basically confirms the leaks, which means we will get Ultron next.
Re: Helldivers 2's Creative Director's Latest Comments Have Landed Him in Hot Water
Of course it was ResetEra that got the torches and pitchforks.....
Re: Game of the Year: #10 - Persona 3 Reload
I was amazed at the animation in the game, and then I looked at Metaphor and it seemed like I was playing a PS3 game.

1 year after finishing Okami 2, Kamiya will leave Clovers due to clash with other devs and open a new studio named "Platinums"
Re: Ex-Telltale Talent Announces Dispatch, a Superhero Comedy Adventure Game
@Gremio108 Pensei o mesmo.
The trailer was really interesting, I like when we get games with comedy, and the schtick between Aaron and Laura was cute.
Re: Poll: What Will Win Game of the Year at The Game Awards 2024?
Since the votes are mainly done by US "games media" it's going to be Balatro, and it will be cray.
I kinda wish it would be FF7
Re: Open World PS5 Game Ananta Looks Absolutely Insane in Latest Trailer
Looks like another MihoYo game.

Re: PS5 Pro Brute Forces Better Performance in Monster Hunter Wilds' Beta
Guess I will have to play this one on PC.
Tried the beta on Steam as well as my PS5 and the difference is crazy.
Re: Dragon Age: The Veilguard Reveals Players' Most Popular Class, Race, and Faction
I made a warrior but it's so boring to play, the thing is I cannot reroll 20hs into the game, so I'll have to stick with it.
