I swear that people talk about Sony as if they were dishing out first party games every year during the PS4 era and not just on the last 2-3 years of its lifecycle.
We all knew that as soon as they implemented the Eververse store the armor that you were getting as drops would look very drab compared to the sets that were being sold.
No doubt that the game and Bungie and in hot water, but did they do anything to Paul Tassi's family? The dude has a huge vendetta against them, it almost seems personal.
I'm cautiously optimistic, as I really did like SH2, but also most of the people that worked on that game probably didn't work on this one, since it's already releasing this year.
@BAMozzy You keep repeating that "it's a license" but the files to install the game ARE in the disk, as I said you don't need to connect to the internet to install and/or play. You haven't read games directly from the disc since the PS2, but you still have all the files to install and run the games in the discs. And no, it's not just older games and remasters, here is a list of the last few games I bought and install with no need for internet: Dragon Age Veilgard Life is Strange Double Exposure Like a Dragon Pirate Yakuza First Berserker Khazan KC2 Monster Hunter Wilds (it installs even though you do need internet to play it).
Now I do understand that you need to install some patches for updates, and bug fixes, but most games do have a playable 1.0 version in their discs. The only company that you really see going further away from this is Ubisoft, with their ***** "You don't own your games" take, and now it seems MS is doing the same even though you can fit the games easily into the discs, but MS has been pushing digital for awhile now as well.
@BAMozzy I have around 43 games that I can install and play without being connected to the internet (I test every single one).
So far only Jedi Survivor required internet to install.
Edit: I never understood why people defend vigorously the digital only part (not saying you do @BAMozzy) when we should always get the 2 versions, physical with the game or installer on the disc and digital for whomever wants it and that's it.
People can also check the doesitplay website, they have more than 2000 entries for games to show which can be played straight from the disc without downloads and the ones that cannot.
Ofc he was right, the issue is where he should've lied or not. I don't understand this new narrative that tries to pain Joel as a villain that surfaced on the last 2 years or so.
@ATaco People datamined the monsters. For example Lagi and another monster were supposed to be part of the main game were pushed to the free updates. If you google for MonHun Wilds leaked monster list or something you'll find all the info. I won't post it here because there are people that like to be surprised with the updates.
@ShogunRok It won't come in the base game, maybe the expansion, we already know which monsters will be part of the free updates. Which to say, it is a shame, I love Nergigante, it quickly become one of my favourites (if not my favourite) monsters.
Big AC fan, still own all the games, but haven't bought this one. I think I'll probably get it when its 20€ or get a second hand copy, not going to give Ubi any more of my money.
@ShadowofSparta I agree with you, their 2 Pathfinder games are basically how I imagined the old Infinity Engine games to look on modern days, Wrath of the Righteous is an amazing game.
This is an odd one for me, I bought the EA and played it and the game feels like it's built to be a live-service thing...or maybe just a game where they keep adding content? It certainly didn't feel like a SP, story based game. Love the art style though.
@IceClimbersMain at one point in the video the character uses an ipad looking thing that has the information he just got from the little girl he was talking to, so it seems it saves the information that you get from NPCs at least.
"at a level above Tempered!" And in April we will see everyone complaining that it is too hard, tempered was not a joke on World when you didn't have a min-maxed build.
Thank you for the review. I really need to check and see if there's video comparison of the versions, because the beta on PS5 looked like dog water, but I do prefer to play on the sofa instead of sitting on my desk.
@nessisonett The main set will deffo be in Arena, it's standard legal. I'm not sure bout the commander decks though, most likely not for now, but they're trying to implement commander into Arena.
Yo shoutout to Ben Hansen and MinnMax, dude keeps doing interviews with the same quality that you had in Game Informer with a lot less resources and he's not afraid to ask any type of question.
It still requires quite the beefy specs compared to consoles. I wanted to play the game on PS5, it's where I do most of my gaming, but I guess I'll have to go to PC for this one.

Re: New Warhammer 40k RPG Dark Heresy Revealed for PS5
Rogue trader was really fun (if buggy af). I was kinda looking forward for a new Pathfinder CRPG, but I'll take a W40K one.

Re: Finally, a Line of Physical PS5 Games Where the Packaging Is Beautiful and the Full Experience Is Actually on the Disc

Re: Beloved Ex-PlayStation Boss Believes $70, $80 Games Are a Steal
Don't know what he's talking about, games in my country are already 80€ (or $90), and they can get stuffed with those prices anyway.
Re: Fairgames, One of Sony's Last Live-Service PS5 Games, Loses Studio Founder Amid Internal Worries
How many studios has Jade left by now? It's been a decade since she shipped anything of relevance.

@Jrs1 if you own the old version, yes.
Re: The Last of Us Boss Answers Its Most Profound Question: Was Joel Right?

Re: System Shock 2 PS5, PS4 Remaster Is an Essential Summer Playthrough
@PegasusActual93 Was expecting more moder looks, a full on remake. Still it's pretty great to have this updated.
Re: System Shock 2 PS5, PS4 Remaster Is an Essential Summer Playthrough
Seminal game. I have to be honest though, was expecting a bit more for the remaster.

Like @GirlVersusGame said, it looks incredibly like Fatal Frame, it's quite interesting. I want to see gameplay.
Re: No Rest for the Wicked Remains Stunning in Extended Gameplay Update

Re: Trails in the Sky PS5 Remake Looks Outstanding in New Screenshots, Trailer
It seems they finally improved the art style a bit, this game doesn't look like an old PS3 game like the most recent ones.

Re: Magic: The Gathering's Final Fantasy Crossover Boasts Truly Epic Artwork
@nessisonett They teased some art for other characters a few months ago, pretty sure it was Lightning, Emet-Selch and Sephirot.
Re: Magic: The Gathering's Final Fantasy Crossover Boasts Truly Epic Artwork
@nessisonett It's just the commander decks that target the 4 games. The main set covers all 16 games.
Edit: Btw today they'll be showing more on their Weekly MTG stream on Twich.
Re: Sony's Latest State of Play Set a New Viewership Record for a PS5, PS4 Livestream
That can't be right, according to the internet no one watched that crap.
