Forza Horizon 6 May Come to PS5 This Year as Xbox, PC Release Date Leaks

They got to release it before gta 6 if they want to release it on PlayStation this year.

I might have to borrow my buddy's Xbox for this one. Driving around gorgeous landscapes in Japan is too enticing to pass up.

It's shocking how good racing games are scarce and we have a new souls like every 2 months. - im addicted to souls like but miss a good racing game. something like midnight club or a nfs underground. theres a huge gap there to be fulfilled and whoever does it will bank some cash

Fingers crossed after seeing the FH5 sales numbers on PS5 they change their direction & make 6 day and date. Doubtful but would be a welcome surprise. I'll be getting both versions at release regardless

Wonder where that leaves Fable release date, because rumours have it, it's coming out in the first half of the year...

@Oram77 I figure Starfield in March/April and then Fable in June.

Sorely disappointed in FH5, but I am tempted largely due to the location alone.

Will this one actually have an engaging handling model and a satisfying cadence of progression? Probably not...

I’ve read somewhere that the only reason this isnt day and date on Playstation is because the studio just isnt ready with the port yet, or else it would be. I wonder how much of a gamble it is to not have this day and date.

Although, it’ll probably still sell well if it releases to Playstation later this year. But looking at FH5 sales on Playstation, they are undoubtably bummed they could not release it simultaneously, especially with the competition it’ll have later in the year.

Somehow i feel that they might still surprise us with a day and date release, but if not, i think September is a likely release month

I wouldn't be surprised if it could even be 4 months after launch. If Halo is launching day 1 on PS5, then it's obvious the only reason Forza isn't is because they started the PS5 port late. It's going to be like Indiana Jones. 4-6 months after sounds likely to me.

It's so odd that this is the one game where they drew the line about simultaneous releases. I think it may end up hurting them in the long run, since GTA6 is going to hog most people's attention

@MrPeanutbutterz why what's wrong with FH5's handling? Never had any issue with the handling on my T598 wheel or when I knackered my heel and had to use the dualsense to play it for a few weeks. Using the dualsense made me realise how much pad players miss out on the amount of detail that a steering wheel setup provides via the force feedback such as the terrain detail and inertia etc so is that what you mean? Anyway I'm looking forwards to the next instalment of Forza on the ps5 but not as much as Assetto corsa rally.

@Athrum it won't hurt them at all. Look at how many copies of FH5 they've shifted on the ps5. If anything the ps5 will benefit from the extra months they have to sort out any issues and it's wildly accepted that the ps5 and ps5 pros versions are better than the xbox's so fingers crossed this continues with FH6 on the ps5's.

@Northern_munkey I dunno man, feels like you're controlling boats, not an arcade racer.

Arcade racers to me need to handle like Burnout, Outrun 2006, WipEout, etc. Twitchy and precise. This is neither.

Plus that weight to handling model lacks the nuance of a proper sim-cade game like GT (I love the handling model in that series precisely because of the weight).

FH feels like it has neither and is a mushy, unsatisfying "in between".

@MrPeanutbutterz I get you. I have tinkered with the settings extensively and I do have a specific FH5 profile stored on my T598 base as well as one for EA wrc and Dirt 2.0..GT7 has its own as well. Personally I love the handling on FH5 but I'll admit that out of the box the feeling was a bit sketchy at first.

@MrPeanutbutterz Forza in general has always been the mushy in between. It neither a arcade racer and nor a sim racer. That why it an actually proper simcade, not a wannabe try hard that is GT...
