Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter wowed just about everyone when it launched earlier this year. A ground-up remake of Falcom's original Trails title, it's easily one of the most polished releases in the entire series.
And now, we've basically got confirmation that a remake of the second Trails in the Sky game will launch by September 2026.
Presumably called Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter, we knew this sequel was coming, because it's actually unveiled at the end of 1st Chapter. It was just a question of when Falcom would have it launch.

2nd Chapter is specifically mentioned in the company's new financial briefing as a release for the coming fiscal year. We would imagine that it'll be another worldwide launch, as was the case with 1st Chapter.
The second Trails in the Sky game is widely considered to be one of the franchise's best instalments. It's got a gut-punching story and some fantastic character development — alongside some of the most memorable boss encounters in the series.
