I have the Pacman Championship 2 Theme on my PS4, not the most amazing theme but i like it, the music is cheery and image isn't too busy to make it hard to use.
The deal itself is insanely good, and one that no independent studio could afford to turn down, especially for studios like Remedy who haven't had an out-and-out hit game (sales-wise) in quite a while.
Good on Epic for nurturing and supporting all three studios and i look forward to seeing what they create and having the choice on which format to purchase them on when they release
Sony's cinematic story-driven games are excellent no doubt but i do feel their line-up on PS5 needs to broaden a bit, specifically i think they need to bring back their I.P's in other genres, like their platforming and racing franchises for example, i am dying for a new Ape Escape, Motorstorm or Syphon Filter.
Hmm i actually think 40 + million is quite good considering just how bad the initial reveal of the X1 actually was.
Personally i've used/enjoyed my X1 just as much as my PS4 this generation, despite many people trying to make out it has no exclusives worth playing, i've really enjoyed games like Recore, Super Lucky's Tale, Halo:Spartan Assault, Rare Replay, Crimson Dragon, Cuphead, Quantum Break, Ori, Sunset Overdrive and Voodoo Vince Remastered as much as most PS4 exclusives, Halo 5 was a huge disappointment but apart from that, between these games and BC i can't say my X1 has been used any less than my PS4, so i feel like it has been good value for money personally.
Well some of you may mock but Rehydrated is a day one buy for me, whilst i couldn't care less about The Last of Us 2, could never get into the first one. Battle for Bikini Bottom is a cult classic and has a surprisingly strong following so i can see it doing quite well.
Sly is my fave Sony franchise ever so i definitely want it to return, sadly though Thieves In Time sold really badly from what i remember, so the chances aren't looking good
I'd have preferred a direct sequel to 2010's Hot Pursuit, i don't really like open world racing games, i'd rather just pick a track from a list than spend ten minutes driving to one.
Great result for MediEvil ! I got my copy with a lovely steel-book but it'll be a christmas present so it's gone away for now, looking forward to playing it though, i enjoyed the demo
PSVR was really gaining momentum last year but things have been very quiet in 2019, i'm hoping we get a lot of new announcements soon, Ironman is the only game i'm excited about in this list.
We will definitely get a Resi 3 remake at some point, but people are definitely jumping the gun if they think it's anywhere near to being announced right now, it's not even a year since the Resi 2 remake, give them a chance lol I would hate to have it rushed and not be as polished as 2 was.
It sounds really interesting to me, i'm yet to try the series but will give Kiwami a try soon, i like the sound of this new battle system, but then i've always enjoyed turn-based battles and this sounds like a fresh twist on that, interesting to see it in motion, i think that'll be the best way of understanding it properly.
Great news, when you think of Insomniac you think of Sony so it's a natural evolution, i really hope this will allow for a new Ratchet game now though, i am really missing the series, even if not though, Spiderman 2 can't come soon enough, what a game that was !
These are lovely (apart from the red). Surprisingly i love the rose gold one the most, which is odd as i always love blues and purples more but it is stunning.
Great that they've secured Gunfire Games, the future of Darksiders seems bright, i wish they'd have saved Telltale as well though, but alas, too late now.
I'd quite like a Need For Speed Collection, featuring games from the PS2/GC era and a few later games (Hot Pursuit 2010) but it would never happen, one because of the music licenses and two, because EA seem to hate delving into their back catalogue, despite the money it could bring (ahem a Dead Space Collection). EA are such a frustrating company.
I'd love a remake of Metal Arms:A Glitch In The System, i loved that game so much and it was always meant to be a trilogy of games, it is definitely owned by Microsoft as they bought Swinging Ape Studios that made it.
Great to see Nintendo dominating the UK charts, they've been on fire lately, and with a strong release schedule for the rest of the year, it's only going to continue
Nice to see so much love for Origins, i totally agree that it is fantastic , in fact i think it's miles better than Arkham Knight, i even quite enjoyed Blackgate so a collection of all five games would be an essential purchase for me.
Hmm average at best i'd say, the FPS output of Bethesda looks strong, and i'm going to give Fallout 76 a try finally but overall it wasn't their best.
Oh, and the guy screaming after every spoken word was seriously getting on my wick, was hoping someone would give him a valium or something to calm him the hell down haha
I enjoyed their show, sure it could have been stronger, but it's the end of a generation, they were never going to announce a load of X1 exclusives at this late stage in its life, next year is when we can truly judge whether their first-party content has improved (if they have any sense they'll reveal a proper Banjo 4 for it to tempt Sony and Nintendo fans a little).
Regarding Ninja Theory, they stated their new game has been in development for a few years so you can't really blame Microsoft for that one, if their next game is multi-player focused, then that's a different story
I don't really know what people were expecting, the console isn't out for at least 16 months so they were hardly going to have a huge blowout of launch titles so far from release, that'll come next E3, that's when we can truly judge whether MS's renewed first-party output has improved or not.
I agree about Gears 5 though, that absolutely should have had game-play shown seeing as it's so close to release.
OMG ! i absolutely loved this game, i bought it for £1 from Game and it's the best quid i've ever spent lol It always felt like the spiritual successor to Goldeneye for me, the mix of shooting and stealth was so enjoyable, this is a day one buy for me
Oh god yes please !!! i adore the Ape Escape games, a new game in the series is well overdue, i would be over the moon if we finally got a new game in the series that is just a continuation of the first three games. Mind you, we still haven't got the third game on PS4 yet, which sucks as its the best one i think.
Hmm i think it's part of the future sure, but the only option going forward ? not so likely
Even if the 'big three' decide to go all in on streaming that would still result in other companies coming in and offering a more traditional console box i believe, the demand for it will always be there so companies will not pass up the chance to make money on that market, especially if it looks like they might have it all to themselves.
Ooh i like the look of this ! i prefer old school shooters to most modern day ones, mainly due to them not using iron-sights and just being more about fun then realism.
Inevitable but still sad to see, for me the Vita never really competed against the incredible 3DS but i did still really like it (especially that gorgeous OLED screen). Ironically i enjoyed using it for PSP and PS1 games more than its native games generally but it still had some gems like Gravity Rush and Tearaway, i just wish it had received dedicated entries for Ratchet & Clank, Syphon Filter, Ape Escape etc.
They are annoying, especially when they feel too slow/ fast, so you feel like you're waiting for it to follow you or they shoot off the edge of the screen and you're wondering where the heck it went haha
Only time i like them is with motion-controlled games, they feel natural then, they make sense for those games and are great in VR, otherwise, they need to feck off lol
It doesn't really bother me as i very rarely play multi-player games but i can see the benefit for developers, especially smaller ones who need all the help they can get to keep their player base active, also for the people who buy those games too, obviously.
I will defend Sony a little here though, i think they're totally right to be hesitant on giving away any advantage to their rivals, i'm 100% sure that if MS or Ninty were the dominant console in a generation, and by a large margin, they'd approach this in just the same way. Whether it is right or not, is a different question, for a business, it makes absolute sense.
Mine is still plugged in right next to my PS4, i still play it regularly, i got it very late into the generation so am still catching up on a lot of its games, i'm hoping to start Ni No Kuni soon
@rjejr Haha i don't blame you, that sounds horrible !
It was pretty horrific, i've had trouble with this tooth since just after christmas, had two fillings but they didn't resolve the pain, turns out i had an inflamed nerve so it had to come out, i actually had a needle of anaesthetic injected into the nerve itself, which is the weirdest feeling in the world, i think i'd rather just have a tooth removed in future rather than go through that again haha
Awesome, looking forward to playing through these, might be a while though as i've only completed Leon's campaign and am halfway through Claire's, so still got the B scenario's to get through as well.
I would love a new 3D Rayman plus the return of Prince of Persia and Splinter Cell, the latter is at least likely thankfully. I also think one of these could be another collaboration with Nintendo, maybe a sequel to Rabbids ?
I don't expect Beyond Good and Evil 2 until next gen now sadly.
I'm glad i waited for the Switch version now, the extra content for the side-characters is what interests me the most, having said that, i'm pretty sure it'll all come to PS4 once the Switch version is released, this is Square Enix after all, they never turn down the chance to make money from add-on content lol
@Marios-love-child People on here have short memories, he regularly attacks anyone who says anything positive about MS or Ninty, he's clueless, i doubt he's even ever tried the games he dismisses lol

Re: Bluepoint Games Tackles PS5 Speculation with Top Trolling
I wouldn't say no to a Demon's Souls remake (and it probably is that) but if it was Syphon Filter or Jak & Daxter, i'd be over the moon.
Hell, whilst i'm dreaming, an Ape Escape remake would be awesome too, but that really is pushing it lol
