The Ghost Survivors Free Update for Resident Evil 2 Is Available Now on PS4

I've played a bit of it, pretty challenging compared to the normal scenarios. New enemy variations are pretty cool though.

I think I’ve caught myself in a death loop on Claire B on hardcore so once I work a way out from that I’ll check them out. I didn’t clear out the lickers from the 1F corridor therefore I either get killed by Mr X if I walk or lickers if I run. Still a brilliant game though.

I just need to finish Claire B before starting these.

I still need to finish the main game. I’ve been a little busy lately as I haven’t had much time to put into this game. Not to mention I’m trying to juggle other games in as well. I do love this game though.

I have installed the update but not tried it yet as I like to wait until its night time and pure darkness before playing these games.

I know it's free and we can't complain about anything but I'm really hoping these aren't done in the same fashion as the dlc's were done in resident evil 7, as they really ruined the feel of the game and was a complete waste of money (except 21, love that card game regardless of where I play it).

Over the top action absolutely won't suit this game so I'm hoping it's a genuine follow on with these other characters.

are these stories like the hunk scenario? does seem that way.

Awesome, looking forward to playing through these, might be a while though as i've only completed Leon's campaign and am halfway through Claire's, so still got the B scenario's to get through as well.

@Danny2014 Not sure how the resident evil 7 dlc was,but I saw on you tube that these are like 10 minutes long for each character,lol.

@hulkie so we are looking at roughly 30mins of straight gameplay but a bit more if we are hunting the Mr raccoons. I reckon an hour or so tops then.

Not bad for free so at this point I'm just hoping the gameplay is solid with the horror aspects left in tact.
I'll be on it soon so I'll soon see.

I heard that these might have random elements so they're different each time, like RE3. Can anyone confirm?

@nessisonett Do you have any flash grenades for the lickers? It's stops them from hearing you for a bit. You can also shoot Mr X in the head once to stun him (though might not be guaranteed so you might need 2 or 3 shots if the first one doesn't do it) so you can run past him. I've noticed sometimes he just throws you on the ground when you run at him, and it does either no or very little damage.

@Matroska I was also exceedingly stupid and forgot to get the Spade Key, therefore I have to go the long way around. I'll persevere but I'll look for some flashes, thanks!

@Danny2014 Well,if we also add the training mode for each of the 3 characters,it might be over an hour.

@nessisonett can you not just go back up to get the spade key as it's on that side of the station? I've literally just done this part this morning and it took me ages to locate that key as I was trying to work out how to get back to the main hall with the licker there and then stumbled upon the key.

Gonna finish up the second run this weekend before playing these and Hunk before going for the unlockable weapons. Such a great game with plenty of content to keep me happy.

Oh and don't forget the free PS1 costumes that have been added, I think you'll have to go on the store to download them
