Re: Poll: How Would You Rate PS Plus in 2021?

TBubs311

I played through 4/5 games on that list so definitely worth the price of admission. However there a drought of just okay/not my kind of games for a lot of the year and I was pretty disappointed at how devs treated the subscription as second class by not offering free next gen upgrades like they did those who purchased the products outright.

Over 6 months after finishing this game I still think about it quite often, not many games do that for me. And I do not typically like roguelikes, so definitely my #1 for the year

Re: Game of the Year: Best PS5, PS4 FPS Game of 2021

@Integrity i played it before the patches and I cant say that the AI bothered me too much. Then again I play stealthily as I'm not huge on FPS so it felt good to sneak around like a pro. Also turned off map markers so I needed to read and pay attention to clues and the level design instead of following a quest marker. Really of the humble opinion that Arkane should have made that the default setting and left markers as an accessibility option

Re: Rumour: PS Plus January 2022 PS5, PS4 Games Leaked Early

TBubs311

Cant say any of the games appeal to me personally, but that is objectively a really good selection

Edit: however do we know for sure that deep rock will include the ps5 version? If it doesn't then there you go. I have something to complain about and life makes sense again.

Re: Talking Point: What PS Plus Games for January 2022 Do You Want?

TBubs311

I kind of hate myself for resubbing after feeling like we've been pushed around for the last half of the year (getting half cut versions of games, not getting next gen upgrades that were free, etc.). But half off a year sub is a pretty sweet deal and cdkeys couldn't even get to that price point. Cloud saves are just really convenient.

Re: PS Store End of Year Deals Sale Is Live Now, Discounts Hundreds of PS5, PS4 Games

@NateGoesLive I would say its an interesting concept for a game with a cool premise, but goes on a bit too long especially if you try to complete everything. The aesthetic is different in a Tim Burton kind of way, but its a bit one note overall and the game doesn't really evolve too much over the course of the run time. Just my opinion of course and happy to say I had a few hours of fun with it before I fell off.

Re: Remember Outriders? It's Getting a Big Free Update This Week

@rumple1980 interesting that you enjoyed the single player experience. I enjoyed the demo myself way back, but then most reviews seemed to indicate that it's way better as an MP experience and isn't really balanced for SP (Anthem barring all of its other issues comes to mind as a comparison). Had thoughts about picking it up as its pretty cheap now (usually less than 20USD). Did you find a lot of times where it felt like it was really unfair due to poor SP balance or is that generally not the case?

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 381

TBubs311

@djdizzy I'm playing on a ps5 so can't speak to how well ps4 or pro does, but 0 crashes so far after about 25 hours. Sure a 4k resolution would be great, but the game still looks wonderful at 1080p and haven't seen any noticeable frame drops at 60fps. I haven't had any major bugs besides one side quest giver clipping into the floor but I just left the area and went back 2 seconds later and it fixed itself. The patches must have really done some work because its pretty polished relatively speaking.

Re: Death Stranding Director's Cut Coming to PS5 Soon

TBubs311

Loved loved loved the game when I played it a couple years ago. That said it did drag in certain areas, and I didn't feel like the game needed more length.

Edit: Should say that if there is an upgrade path to get the ps5 enhancements plus the directors cut version, I'm in!!

@Korgonlocals. Agreed on GOT having an amazing waypoint mechanic. Although I feel like HZD had one of the best HUD implementations in open world games for exploration. Almost everything was customizable and able to be dynamically pulled onto or pushed off the screen at anytime so you could take in the beauty of the locales and find your way without the HUD but not be blind to your stats during combat.
