How about that February 2021 PS Plus lineup, then? Pretty good, right? If you missed it, you can find all of the details through here, but just to reiterate you’ll be getting Destruction AllStars, Control: Ultimate Edition, and Concrete Genie. In Japan, though, members will be getting a fourth free game: Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
There is a caveat: members in the Land of the Rising Sun will only be able to download Control: Ultimate Edition on PS5, so it won’t be available on PS4 as well. It’s unclear why that’s the case, but we assume Bloodstained’s inclusion is to make up for it. Whatever the case, it’s an absolutely barnstorming lineup, isn’t it?

To be honest, Bloodstained is a very good trade for Control’s PS4 version. I had quite a few issues with bugs in that version, including a data wipe that required me to start the chapter over.
I think potentially the only sad thing is we prob won’t now get that in the future but good for Japan.

It would be good if everyone else got the same deal. After all even if you don't have a PS5 yet, you can add Control/Destruction All Stars to your library on the app yes?

Already have bloodstained (backed it on KS), I only want to play control on ps5, so usa or japan psplus is the same for me.
Man, japan gets the best PS Plus offerings...well, except Umbrella Corps of course.

Take a country where Remote Play was always the most viable, and distribute a game strictly on a console where Remote Play is devoid of native controls unless you duct-tape a controller. It's a mystery indeed.
I didn't click with Bloodstained. Too spoilt by Hollow Knight. But I hear the PS4 version of Control is a mess, so this is a good move from Sony. About time they showed their home territory some love!

Think i would rather have control for ps4 than bloodstain but its great for ps5 owners, those lucky few!

@wiiware Knights and Bikes i funded that one too and Flame in the Flood but damn sometimes the project takes so long you forget about it. 😅
Bloodstained is great and the two 8bit style spinoffs are arguably even better. Definitively a rising new IP in my book.
