Huge PS Store Indie Sale Discounts Lots of Smaller PS5, PS4 Games

Baldur's Gate is finally on sale for £21.59 PSPlus price or £23.99. Brilliant games, all the DLC, over a thousand hours of content and progression carries over from the first game into the second. The writing and characters are top notch too.

Its not been on sale before digitally and this is cheaper than you can buy it for physically by at least a tenner.

Just bought ARK:Survival Evolved for £7.99.

Have had Night In The Woods in my wish list for ages...it's finally on sale for the first time in 18 months and 50% off is not bad at all.

@Voltan I don't want to spoil it's gimmick, however it's got a few things I've not seen in a Metroidvania before, so going in blind is a total blast.

@playstation1995 Any idea why is Castle Crashers a PEGI 16? Don't seem to remember that much from the PS3 days apart from the overt cartoon violence?

I bought Spiritfarer a couple of days before it went on sale, but the game is so charming and relaxing I'm okay with sending a few extra £'s in the developer's direction.

Hyper Light drifter for 7€ is a steal. This game looks absolutely gorgeous and has never been on sale before, if I recall correctly.
Overall, a truly amazing sale if you ask me !

@ShiningStar I think i can safely say that night in the woods is EASILY one of my top 3 favorite games of all time! (in the past 31 years that I've been gaming)
If you're in touch with your emotions and don't need explosions and violence every second you may just fall in the with it!

@Gmork___ yes, been waiting ages for it! middle of a new farm on Stardew Valley with the 1.5 update right now but it'll be next on the to-play list. 👍

For atmospheric, narrative driven adventures like Obra Dinn and Spiritfarer I can highly recommend FAR: Lone Sails; it's only a fiver!

@Jackpaza0508 what's the control scheme like? I actually cancelled my PS5 launch day copy of this due to the review on here saying it was really fiddly to build custom tracks, and that would be my main reason for playing it. I spent hours and hours building vomit inducing death traps on Rollercoaster Tycoon back in the late 90's!

@jcvandan You use the sticks to curve or raise the track and if
you hold the square button and move the sticks you make it longer or use the triggers to twist it. It may seem complicated at first but trust me it's super easy to master!

@jcvandan Control scheme is tight. There is a curve to building custom coasters, but I was really pleasantly surprised by how it all handles. I have it on PS5 and love it.

I picked up Night in the Woods, Oxenfree and Chicken Police for 26 bucks. Good deal, and the backlog grows.

Why is Transistor never in one of these sales? That is the game i want.

@wiiware Yep,I know the feeling! RCG been on my proverbial wishlist for ages-bit disappointing its only 30% off,compared to elsewhere,but with Wayforward's Shantae platformers having their last discounts in 2017/18, the fomo is strong! 😁
Castle Crashers is another long time coming too, but a good pick up at the price!
Some good stuff,others I've bought in the past like Huntdown,Oxenfree,Ghost of a Tale & a few more.
The only pity for me is older titles like Cursed Castilla EX & Super Hydorah have had a sale since 2018 & Abylight have intimated like other indies they need an invite from Sony to participate.
But whereas some indies get regular sales others never get an invite! 😕
Battle Princess Madelyn & Xeno Crisis are two more that come to mind that have never gotten a sale either!
Its a good sale-i just wish Sony would make it easier for smaller indies to participate.

@Robocod Man I have good memory playing castle crashers local co-op with 3 of my friends on xbox 360, I hope the devs make cc2 on ps5 with online co-op 😃

@wiiware The Behemoth have said there's no plans atm sadly-they're full on into an Alien Homonoid HD remake which ll be on pc/xb/switch,(No plans for a ps4/ps5 port beyond they hope to sadly),but they certainly get asked about it on their twitter feed so they might have to sometime! On the plus side it sounds like ps4 online co-op bugs for CC remastered got sorted out after their last update,as they'd been keen to get it into a psn sale since.👍
