PSN Errors Ongoing for Some PS5, PS4 Players

Everybody’s golf servers were down for about three days but they’re now back up, other than that I haven’t had any other problems.

No problems for me in the UK and I'm on it every day (while working from home) lol

no issues for me.. i launched destiny 2, outriders demo (which also auto-updated last night), and ghost of tsushima over the weekend, as well netflix and amazon prime.

No issues here Northeast USA. It might be a Internet thing because Xbox Live had issues Thursday Night Friday morning now it seems to be PSN turn time to put on the tin foil hats and blame chaina....

Had an issue uploading PS4 saves from my PS5 at one point over the weekend but it's ok again now. Had a short panic though when I saw I had zero game saves on my psn cloud 😲

I haven't tried today yet but no issues in the last few days

Yeah, I was wondering what the issue was while I was playing Persona 5 this weekend. Every time I completed an activity like a Confidant visit I would get a network error when it tried to sync to the Phantom Thief network (...or whatever that’s called). It’s a feature in the game that is pretty useless anyways so I just went into the game’s settings and disable the feature and then I stopped getting those errors. I thought maybe the server had been shut down since I’m playing the base game and not the Royal edition. Now seeing this I bet it’s related to these PSN issues.

Yes - I purchase Lego DC Villains Deluxe Edition this morning on my Nephew’s PS5.

They have downloaded and even played the game this morning but they can’t download the dlc/season pass content because it shows as full price on the store. Even though the deluxe edition should unlock all the extra content.

The charge for the deluxe version of the game has cleared through my bank but the game on the store still has a price and does not say ‘purchased’. V strange.

Never experienced this issue before.

Currently looking online for a solution because the thought of contacting Sony’s awful customer support fills me with dread.

I been playing resident evil 6 online everyday and I haven’t been able to play since friday which is upsetting , I have other friends I made friends in that game that also experience that

Had problems on Saturday trying to access my PS4 cloud saves. Reinstalled a game and went to download my cloud save but only got a "Can't connect" message. Started working again on Sunday.

@Mari12 I’m a little off topic, but it’s good to see someone actually enjoying RE6. I am making my way through the mainline games (RE3 up next) and most people tell me to just skip RE6. Glad to see there are some people who enjoy it! Maybe I’ll still give it a go.

Issues for vita gamers too. Cross save files won’t upload. My store struggling. Apparently online play is broke.

Seen problem when trying to play Everybody's Golf - you could get into your island/lobby but you get a message about being kicked from the server whenever you tried to go into the list of the available courses. Seems to have been solved now.

Things like ESO didn't seem to suffer any problems.

Interesting that both PSN and XBL had issues the same week. PSN is now MS Azure hosted IIRC, so I presume it's related to some sort of rolling upgrade. Sounds like XBL got hit harder, but for a shorter duration than the sporradic PSN outages though, with the whole issue being one-and-done over a few hours, but with total downtime.

PSN Store has been a bit hit & miss loading game trailers...though weirdest thing for me is the ability to "buy" games acquired recently via ps plus has gone!
Was available just the other day but when I went & got a couple of games in the indie sale,noticed it was no longer an option! (Eg Hollow Knight & Fall Guys)

My son has been trying all weekend to play online with terraria on the PS4 and it will not connect to the servers he is devastated he can’t play online with his mates not sure what is going on but it was working fine Thursday night then Friday night it went down hope it gets fixed soon otherwise we are just paying for a online subscription for nothing there has been a few here in the uk had the same issue but other games are fine just this one for some strange reason

I just dusted off my Vita 2 days ago and it's been a ongoing issue. I just assumed it was the fact that Sony was abandoning the Vita network.

Only "problem" I've had is synching trophies on the vita has been sloooooooooooow

@Robocod You might want to go into your account (on the PS4) and renew your licences - think it's the last option on the Account screen?

playing the the catch the other day message came up didnt have license and would close in 15 mins had this in the past only with purchased store games????

You guys need to do a better job explaining why certain people are unable to launch software they own. Simply put, make sure your PS4 is set as your primary PS4 in your system settings and that problem will go away.

The store is still down on my ps5. I'm hoping they're sorting the riduculous prices they have on there, but probably not.

I'm just having issues w/ SharePlay.

It's actually an ingenious marketing tool for Sony, as it permits showcasing games/networking. Many of my friends have bought games thanks to that feature. I wonder if they realize it can have that effect?

Not had any problem with games but the YouTube app keeps giving a network error message. Been going on for days now.

@Th3solution - I absolutely love RE6, by far my favourite in the series. It may not be a good survival horror game but it's a top tier action game.

@Robocod No problem. One of the only useful nuggets I received from Sony's support after I found that I'd lost some games from My Library and couldn't download them from the PS Store again as that particular version wasn't available any more.

My brother has been having problems getting into YouTube. His account has parental controls, but no changes have been made from either of my parents. Ever since the update, whenever he got into YouTube, it would say it’s restricted and to send a request to the parent or quit YouTube. Anyone know how to fix this?
