Co-Op Shooter Aliens: Fireteam Announced for PS5, PS4, Arrives This Summer

Anyways, this could go either way.

Visuals look good at least, lots of atmospheric lighting. Just depends on how well it plays.

I wish I could see the Alien vs Predator game in this generation.

If this releases with a more conservative price point I could see this being a fun time with friends. Especially if it's not an ungodly difficult platinum.

The Alien games peaked at Isolation

Really wish we got a sequel to that because they nailed the atmosphere of the original Alien in that game

it didn't go well so my hopes aren't really that high

Urgh a return to the bad old days after the gem of Isolation.

Looks decent visually, and they seem to have captured the atmosphere quite well. But not sure if it won't get very samey pretty quickly, unless they have some varied game dynamics in the campaign/gameplay.

Day one if couch co-op

Naahhh not for me , why does it seem every game is co-op now...its like they are forcing it on you , not like everyone likes it...im bobbins at co -op and sick of getting my backside whooped by a 6 year old at any game ...looks good if it was single

Hopefully single player and off line is allowed in campaign

@Stocksy yeah ill give it a whirl then .most of my clan are eggbox though so its hard to get a team together in any game for me

I don't know about this this studio was being shopped around for a good while before day break picked them up.

Why not just release on pc ps5 to begin with it looks like there they want to hit all systems at once which is a monumental task for a small studio.

The visuals seem pretty okay. But idk... the gameplay looks kinda clunky. This is probably one of those games that you gotta play and see if it's your thing.
In a game like this... all I ever need is great gunplay.

It will have competition this summer what with Back 4 Blood releasing around the same time.

I just hope it's better than Colonial Marines.

Do not care about Aliens as a property at all anymore. Looks okay, but summer seems like a terrible time to drop a co-op shooter with Back 4 Blood already on deck.

Will this be like Chaosbane or more like Left 4 Dead?

Would love too see Guerrilla do something with Aliens if they bring back the heavy gunplay which i loved im KZ im all in.

A lot of people talking trash about the Alien franchise are forgetting that the majority of the video games are really good.

Also, for those wondering, it’s a co-op game with either 2 friends online, or 2 A.I. teammates Offline.

As a huge Alien franchise fan, this is a day one purchase for me!

I don’t see any hud, hard pressed to call this real gameplay when everything looks so staged and doctored! Like for real are all you gamers so easily fooled!? Notice how almost every enemy performs leaping lunge attack at the player before a dramatic camera cut and music queue... speaking of the camera NONE of this footage looks real time, it’s as if they were trying to capture the movie vibes and forgot to show off game mechanics
