Sony is closing in on nearly two months worth of weekly PlayStation Store sales as we enter March, which surely means we're due a dud at some point soon. This isn't the week for that, however, as the Essential Picks sale offers up another enticing list of PlayStation 4 deals for all to take advantage of. These discounts are live through until midnight on 17th March 2021, and are available across both the EU and US storefronts now. So, without further ado, let's take a look at what we've got this week.
The excellent Dragon Ball FighterZ represents great value at just £6.71/$9.59, 2D Souls-like title Blasphemous comes in at £7.99, and Supraland has reached its cheapest price yet at £11.99/$14.99. Then there's Forgotton Anne, which is a worthy pick up at £6.39/$7.99, Gorogoa is only £3.59/$4.49, and then we have Final Fantasy Type-0 HD coming in at £7.99/$9.99. Evan's Remains should be considered at just £2.47/$2.79, everybody's favourite Knack is slashed in price to £4.79/$5.99, and Marvel's Iron Man VR comes in at a reasonable price of £20.99/$23.99. We also feel the need to tell you that The Quiet Man is going cheap at £2.99/$3.74. Do with that what you will.
For a full list of every PS4 game included in the Essential Picks sale, UK and EU users should use this link. The sale page isn't live over on the US storefront at the time of writing. And if nothing here takes your fancy, don't forget the PlayStation Indies sale is still available for another week. What will you be buying? Share your digital haul in the comments below.

I want to create a new account to buy Knack again!
Knack 3, baby!
Star Ocean, Mana, Final Fantasy games on sale too!
dragon quest 11 S and death stranding are on sale.
I guess I might get Overcooked All You Can Eat this time. It seems to have an additional discount for PS Plus members.
Waiting for a good offer on Granblue Fantasy!
Some great looking deals, been trying to reduce my backlog this year rather than add to it but may have to dip in
I picked up The Spiritfarer and Return of the Obra Dinn on folks recommendations from here. I Probably end up adding more games to my collection than I do playing them thanks to some of the crazy deals that are always on!
Lol Quiet Man. Reminds me of when they do "Critics Choice" sales and something like Fallout 76 is in there
Bugger, metro exodus gold edition is only £15.89
I bought the standard Ed for a tenner last year and left it in my library and only downloaded it to my ps5 a couple of weeks ago in anticipation of the patch. I haven't even loaded it up, never mind started it. So my question is do you think I can get a refund so that I can get the gold Ed with all the dlc?
I was going to buy it anyway but its twenty quid atm. On top of that tenner, this way I can save a bit of money.
@Dan_ozzzy189 not likely to happen IMO.. but, the expansion pass is only 7.99 at least. A bit more expensive than the difference between what you paid and the price of the gold edition, but better than RRP for the DLC (it's regularly on sale though so could be worth just waiting till you're ready to play it, as it might be even cheaper by then)
Tekken 7 still 3.99 . I bought Valfaris for 8.99, well worth it.
I'm not sure if that indy sale is still going on, but this seems like a good place to mention the following. They have a few combo-platters available for super cheap, and #4 is the best deal I've gotten in quite some time. I bought it for The Flame in the Flood, but it includes a little number entitled Dear Esther. Maybe most of you have already played this, but it's very short (one evening) and super atmospherical. I was so hugely and pleasantly surprised by this game. I'm now actively seeking out anything else by The Chinese Room. Highly Recommended, though if you want combat, this doesn't have it. It's all about mood, and just the movement in some parts (caves) was literally trance-like.
@LordSteev The Chinese Room also made Everybody's Gone to the Rapture, which is included in this sale. It's half price at £7.99/$9.99.
@LiamCroft oh God that was a waste of my money. By the end I wished I had joined the Rapture.
@LiamCroft I know. But thanks! Already bought it!
(Actively seeking, like I said.)
The Technomancer worth £3 anyone?
I'm really enjoying Greedfall...
@phil_j I'd say yes. It's jankier to be sure, but I enjoyed the setting and characters and the combat is decent.
@AFCC issa mastapieceee!
Not gonna lie, I'm slightly tempted to get The Quiet Man for cheap. Something about terrible games strikes my fancy.
@Gaia093
I’ve also been tempted by this on the occasions it has been offered cheaply.
Sometimes it’s not such an awful notion to play games which are received as poor or generally outright bad. Understanding what it is that doesn’t work about a given game can inform and heighten our appreciation of what does. Although it can also be a complete waste of time, so there’s that too.
@Vacuumator Agreed on all accounts.
