Web browser on a game console? We don't need no stinking web browser on a game console. Right? Well now on second thought maybe one could be convenient for some of the people all of the time and maybe even all of the people some of the time.

@ Nexozi no i do not want an XBOX. I want a PS5 that is smaller, already black, and has a web browser. The current XBOX checks those boxes and does so at the same price as a PS5.

As for a web browser on a console. Why not? For a lot of basic info on sports, weather, news, game info, and google searches my PS4 browser is easy and convenient. I am using my PS4 browser now while a game i am playing is paused.

Let me know when i can get a black PS5 without having to pay an extra 55 bucks. On second thought let me know when i can get a slimmer black PS5 at no extra cost. On third thought a slimmer black PS5 with a web browser at no extra cost, you know like the current XBOX.

My breakfast minimum for system performance is fresh dark roast coffee, black, fresh fruit, and with whatever i have and feel like eating. A favorite is leftover pizza rejuvenated in a skillet with some butter.

Looks like this may provide a nice break from my usual looting, shooting, and blowing up stuff.

So with GTA fans having high desire for GTA 6 we get remasters of PS2 GTA games. Were there that many fans loudly voicing for these remasters? PS2 gen games need remakes not remasters like the Mafia remake. A remake of Vice City released this year or next would be much better than this trilogy remaster released this year instead.

And yes definitely return the originals to the PSN store.

Why is it almost always, it seems, that almost all delays are delayed to the the last week/end of a future month?

I'll pass on these remasters for now. Maybe i will reconsider after i have tired of playing GTA6.

@Ghostngoblins, Rain and other weather/atmosphere effects are ok in video games if....If those effects are done well, not overdone, and certainly do not unnecessarily make a game annoying to impossible to play.

I could really go on a long rant about annoying weather and atmosphere effects in video game.. Some GTA games, RDR2, and Fallout 4 would be good examples. Thankfully GTA games provide built in weather codes . GTA4 is one GTA game that allows trophies if weather codes are used.

RDR2 online has been fun, but has annoying weather effects . Clear weather only about 15% of the time at most as clear and sunny turns to haze, fog, or sand storms in 3 minutes. Unfortunately there is no code to imput to clear the weather so i can actually see and then be able to actually play the game.

So an accidental slip and Tommy and Claude will still drown. That's annoying.

It seems a bit silly now about how awesome i thought it was when back in 2004 i found that CJ in SA could not only swim but also swim underwater.

GTA4 is my least favorite GTA game from PS2 to present. Poor graphics on the PS3 and overall lacking and disappoining. A remaster of TBOGT with improved car and motorcycle handling and at 60fps is all i would care to replay.

Like with the coming Trilogy remaster i rather hear about and play something new. Like freaking GTA 666666666666666666!

My concern is how this may effect the performance of the game. I have been thinking of a replay, disk copy, and as the game is now it has played smooth on my Pro, has a small file size, and i only use a couple of mods for good weather and no god rays.

I love this game, online and story mode, but i can only play for about 5 minutes now before i get annoyed because of the need to tap X to run.

It is really jarring coming from toggle to run to tap tap tap tap and tap tap tap tap to keep running. Making it even worse now is Far Cry 6 which offers just pressing the L stick forward to run with no need to toggle another button.

Red Dead Online has X for run and can be toggled instead of holding or tapping to run. However tapping X is stilled need to make your horse gallop.

Far Cry 6 on PS4 Pro. I am still on the first island holding back doing missions to explore to find weapons and materials needed to upgrade the weapons. I have one amigo, the gator, and the amount he helps varies from a little to a lot.

So far the game looks great, good frame rates, and the settings options are more than most console games have. Motion blur off, yes! That said there is still too small of text like when reading the letters and notes that are left in various locations. Using the PS4 zoom helps big. However subtitle size can be set larger and as white on a black background. Excellent!

My limited time with FC6 has me thinking i will end up enjoying FC5 more. FC6 may have a more varied map and more settings options, and look great with smooth frame rates, but FC5 will probably overall be more fun and with a more snappy play feel. More snappy as FC6 feels slow with button responses, especially bringing up the world map. I tried bluetooth and usb connections. Maybe a future patch will fix the button lag along with the silly low ammo carry limit and annoying process of using the photo mode.

Controls? Please:

Custom mapping of buttons. Like in Borderlands 3
No tapping X to run. Press once to toggle run.

Less fidgety movement. Slow to faster walking depending how far forward the left stick is pushed with sprint a seperate selection for fastest.

Tap to do actions. No annoying press and hold for 5 seconds just to exit/enter a car or interior.

Hopefully Tommy and Claude have learned to swim a little, and hopefully there are some fun codes that the originals have. Codes like peds riot, cars on water, and recruit anyone.

Unlucky13, i agree, build chip factories in the Us and Europe.

My favorite to date is FC5. Plays and looks great on my PRO, big interesting map, fun companions, Peaches and Cheeseburger, the Arcade online mode, and the New Dawn expansion/dlc .

My choice may change after i play six. I have played all listed except six and BD.

FC3 plays and looks better on PS3 compared to the poor PS4 port. A remaster of FC3 would be nice for this fun game.

FC2 has its moments but i find it annoying and unplayable. The world is not really open which limits movement as i try to fight respawning enemies as my assault rifle jams after a few shots and i die. Adding more annoyance is no fast travel between safe houses.

FC4 is my second to FC5. Interesting map and i can ride elephants.

Primal i rented and never finished or purchased. It has different and fun going for it, but not the graphics. I hate the washed out, god ray volumetric lighting mess that made my eyes hurt.

FC Classic on PS3 is a classic that i still find fun to play. The PS3 version also looks and plays well.

@ Toypop, how is the ammo system annoying? Is it because specific ammo types are needed for certain enemies with other ammo types being useless, and that multiple ammo types can not be carried at the same time?

A review i watched mentioned specific ammo types and how it could be annoying. Hopefully an annoying ammo system will be fixed in a patch.

Yippee ki-ya. However i rather have Liberty City Stories than GTA 3, but 2 out of 3 ain't bad.

About game control and camera. The PS2 versions of Vice City Stories and Liberty City Stories had updated controls and camera so these new version should also be updated.

I'll go with 2013 as the best Playstation year for me. 2013 had great games like GTA 5 but also games from 2007-2012 to play for the first time or replays of my favorites. I had 50+ hour work weeks prior to 2013 so i had a large backlog.

Theses games may delight many, but i don' have a PS5 and the offered PS4 games i have no interest in playing.

Sony needs to ditch this one size fits all because it doesn't, and add a PS Plus with no "free" games option for about 30 bucks.

Probably my next game purchase.

3, I am a member of the console web brower users anonymous. I am using the PS4 browser now. No little phone/ tablet screen, i am viewing on a big tv screen using a DS4 to type. It' so easy and so convenient.

The X Box Series X & S were released with a browser and received a new updated browser this month.

The Saboteur PS3, Pandemic's last game released November 2009 that was gifted to me that xmas. Here is a game that i wish would be remastered for the PS4. This game has held up well over the years for me however i wish aiming and shooting would be L2 & R2 instead of L1 & R1.

That shirt will go well with pants with big polka dots, oversized shoes, and a big bright orange afro wig. So yea, definitely worth a thousand bucks.

@ Sawako, The same thing happened to me this past weekend and maybe a year ago. It happend on my PRO which is not registered as my primary PS4. My fix was turning my system off then back on. No more messages, no 15 min. warning.

I always do a wait and see before i download a firmware update, and never download non mandatory updates. One non mandatory PS4 update 2-3 year ago caused problems that required a patch to fix.

For me it was not about the graphics. I gave 2 thumbs down to the lack of presentation and mention of new content. Specifically, SIGNIFICANT NEW CONTENT. Better graphics and performance? Well, duh, it should be if it a PS5 upgraded version of a PS3 game.

Epic facepalm moment was my reaction to that GTA 5 video yesterday.

I will hold my final judgement to when the details are released of the PS5 version.

As for graphics GTA 5 looks very good on my PRO when the weather and atmosphere are clear. Like when online and in a car race and sunny and bright is selected. Eveything looks sharp with good color. However it seems that 90% of the time, on and off line, the visual quality is reduced, some or a lot, by Rockstar's GTA weather/atmosphere/ blur effects simulator guy. That guy's brother is the weather effects simulator guy for RDR2.

Nothing much here that really got me excited. Alan Wake and Tiny Tina are two games that interest me. The GTA 5 video is a joke.

Looking like a blend of FC3 and Just Cause, a choice to play as male or female, an awesome looking map, and a cute little doggie with wheels for hind legs. Also a friendly gator that helps the good guys. Sold !!! Well sold if the post release technical reviews on PS4 PRO are good.

Last night i finished a replay of Dead Island Riptide, PS4. Unlike Dead Island a shotgun is very effective in Riptide. So i played as Purna as she is the best at using shotguns. Tonight it will be Rage 2 from my backlog.

FC6 is on my list. Sameness of FC 3, 4, and 5 no problem. All of those 3 games felt different enough to me. If FC6 feels the same but yet different enough then i will probably enjoy the game.

One thing i will miss from FC5 is the fun Arcade Mode.

Maybe good if it is a comedy, but as a serious RE movie it will probably be a dud. Silly spoofs of video games may be more fun to watch than attempts at seriousness.

I am calling Dave Jackson and R* out on this. I say it was all planned unless i soon read that R* has filed suit against Dave Jackson.

Almost Spider-Man parkour and human enemies reminiscent of Mad Max. Definitely does not look like the first Dying Light. That's probably good considering the vast number of hours i have played the first game. My hopes still remain high for DL2 to be a game that i can add to my favorites list.

A PS5 version of RD2 would be nice for sure. However where is there anything actually new from R*? PS2 Triology remaster and GTA 5 PS5 expanded is all fine but it's not new. Maybe a remake instead of a remaster of the PS2 GTA games would feel new like the Mafia remake felt new.

Lots of SR2 with a little of SR3 is what i hope an SR5 would would be. SR2 is my favorite, gameplay and map, but SR3 has calling a bus full of zombies to help in a fight or just for fun. That's too cool not to feature in a new SR game.

I have high hopes for DL2. Starting with Dead Island the combat, story and map gets better to me with each new game.

Big pluses for DL2 would be higher ammo carry limit, ammo crafting, molotoves/explosives more effective, custom mapping of controller buttons, camera motion blur options, and fov options.

SA was a release day purchase for me. Right after work i hurried on down to my local Blockbuster. At home i was giddy as i removed the wrapping and put the disc in the tray of my PS2.

VC was a step up from GTA 3. San Andreas was a giant leap up from VC. Fond memories? Jet pack, basketball, riding bycycles, home burglaries, getting an Elvis haircut, the crazy car crashes on a particular hill in San Fierro, the Catalina missions, and the many hours of just messing around in free roam using the long list of codes. Peds riot and recruit anyone are fun codes to use.

I picked other as i want a cheaper price, $20, for basic online play for those like me that are not interested in the games offered. The Plus discounts always seem to be for games i have, games that i don't want, or games i want but a physical copy instead of a digital copy.

I'll see it when i believe it. However if true then yea i will be like a little kid that can't wait for xmas and a new bycycle promised.

My pick would be Liberty City Stories for a remaster instead of GTA 3. I find LCS an overall better game that featured motorcycles, protagonist Toni Cipriani, better missions, fun replayable stuff, improved camera/movement and more. However new remasters would most likely feature the current camera and controls of GTA5.

I want a reduced price basic Plus. No games i almost never play, no anime i don't want, and no Plus discounts i don't use. Just a cheaper cost to play online.

Sounds like the survivals could fun. With 10 npc's to help is solo play or less than 4 players optional?

If one plays for X amount of hours or goes afk for X amount of hours it is still X amount of hours on line and any needed resources being consumed. The difference is that afk allows for multitasking.
