Dying Light 2 developer Techland returns next week with a third episode in its Dying 2 Know promotional series, shining a light on what's new for the sequel. Scheduled to take place on 26th August 2021 at 7pm BST / 11am PT / 2pm ET, the livestream will this time focus on parkour, combat, and faction systems. Lead game designer Tymon Smektała will lead the latest behind the scenes look at Dying Light 2.
A brand new trailer will accompany details concerning parkour, with the event going "into detail on how to creatively use parkour to enhance the gameplay style and the development of an advanced and realistic movement system as well as how to mix complex parkour moves into combat". Many of the weapons protagonist Aiden Caldwell will use throughout the game will then be introduced alongside the inspirations behind them.
We will, of course, bring you all the latest news and that trailer right here on Push Square when the time comes. The game hits PlayStation 5 and PS4 on 7th December 2021. Are you looking forward to it? Become zombie food in the comments below.

I am so hyped for this game, please be good.
Still to this day I hear sounds around me (someone dropped a scaffolding pole this week) and they remind me of Dying Light and the memories bring me such joy.
I played the original game on PC M. Heard the controls for cinsole were terrible.

I have high hopes for DL2. Starting with Dead Island the combat, story and map gets better to me with each new game.
Big pluses for DL2 would be higher ammo carry limit, ammo crafting, molotoves/explosives more effective, custom mapping of controller buttons, camera motion blur options, and fov options.
It’s my most anticipated game of the year.
Playing Dying Light 1 in anticipation of this. Imo the best zombiegame ever
I bet Resident Evil 9 comes out before DL2.
@OmegaStriver it's my most top game on the list I'm looking forward to but these delays are just getting tedious, at this point PS4 version will probably be cancelled to save development time imo I'm hoping that won't be true but I bet it happens anyways
@lolwhatno I only watched a "movie" version of Dying Light on YouTube, but must agree nothing special...
Hopefully Dying Light 2 will change my mind.
