Why is this incredible? A technical achievement? Wtf? I don't get it. People are making this sound like they coded this live on the fly. Billions of dollars and they put together a cartoon montage of a pop singer dancing to a few songs and some extremely light game elements and it's the greatest thing ever.

Go find A Decade of Sound Awake online and thank me later

@Dezzy70 This is a bad take. More convenient upgrade solutions require proprietary elements (like the N64 slot you mentioned). The way Sony has done this is the best way. You can purchase drives from any manufacturer using a standardized format. Proprietary drives just for the convenience of not using a screwdriver is a terrible idea.

I have literally confused PS4 and PS5 versions 0 times and had my PS5 since launch. Are you guys just not reading the screens at all or what?

Sorry that Sony assumed you would actually pay attention to what you're doing. I guess it needs to be set to auto tune hip hop and overlaid with kitty cat gifs for you people to pay attention to it. And it's their oversight? Yeeeeeah

Heads up, you can watch the livestream in 4k for 2.99 extra. By purchasing the diamond livestream, you get an avatar and early viewing access to EaPlay 2022. Finally, for 9.99, you can access all EA trailers in 4k for the next year and receive an avatar and digital lanyard for digital EA keys that your avatar wears on their hip.

I'm in the minority here I guess. They only need to show what is almost ready. I think it's pretty clear at this point that only Horizon and Deathloop can be shown at this point and I'm okay with that.

I'm hopeful that we'll get some GT7 info by end of year, but if it happens it happens. I do expect there to be a pretty big marketing push in September through November, but will more than likely be focus on what is already out or releasing at the end of year.

@PossibLeigh The gameplay may be tight, but I'm afraid the content will be light. That's what I mean about underdeveloped. Like they thought, hey let's focus on 5 hours of gameplay and just make them play it over and over. Don't spend much time on making it look next gen either. Those 5 hours (stretched to 15-20) may play well, but we should definitely expect that anyways, and we should expect a PS5 game to look and feel like a PS5 game. This just doesn't to me at all.

And hey, thanks for understanding opinions are that and not being offended. It's cool to see both sides.

@PossibLeigh
Sure, I don't care for the art direction and as I mentioned the graphics don't look PS5 at all. To me, this is an underdeveloped looking game that they are trying to hide behind thinly veiled play-the-same-thing over and over mechanics, just dripping you little upgrades that help you get past the next barrier after dying 10 times.

And yeah I played the first Dishonored and didn't really get into it. I actually remember I was super excited when it came out, but thought it was boring after spending some time with it. I did however like the feel of the game much more than this funky looking style they have going here.

@mrbone This is what people keep forgetting. The grass isn't greener on the other side. Sony actually makes more than 3 games a generation. Microsoft relies on 3rd party multiplatform games and indies to carry them. Not falling for it again.

Just need to program your mind to wait for sales even if it takes 6 to 12 months.

@Floki Sure but it goes both ways. Some people talk like they think he's the second coming of Tom Hanks. I think it's a product of him picking roles that are "cool" to the gamer crowd and less about his actual skill in acting. In my mind, dudes don't just start out as awesome actors from one job, they have to earn that praise. It's okay to be a fan though. All I said is I'm worried about it. Hopefully he/they will prove me wrong. I want it to be good despite my criticism.

I know a lot of people here love him for some reason. I haven't watched Narcos, so maybe that would convince me. It is just one show and one character though. Sometimes actors are good at only one thing. I'm still worried, hopefully he proves me wrong and WW84 was just a crap covered blip. It had a terrible Director so that could have had something to do with it.

@nessisonett I don't know man. He was pretty awful in Wonder Woman. The only role I thought he was good in was Game of Thrones, but that was a pretty straightforward role and he didn't have much time and character building. Mandalorian is a role lacking much emotion. He has not proved to me at all that he can act. WW84 was one of the worst performances I've seen in awhile.
