Hey they added mechs to Borderlands and downgraded the graphics!

I want to be able to rent one to see if it makes me sick like v1 did before I buy it. It was a lot of freaking money to just sit there and eventually sell at a loss. The controllers should be a massive upgrade from the pretty terrible move wands.

Before I grab my pitchfork, does anyone know how much it will cost yet?

@GREGORIAN They've probably sold what, 8 mil copies? 10 mil? Their launch was massive and they were a top seller on PC for several weeks. Not to mention every time there is an update they sell more copies. For a small studio they are probably making plenty of money. Its obviously a labor of love for Sean as well, so while he could probably add microtransactions or move to the next thing, he is doing what he wants to do. More power to him, can't ask for much more in life.

The game itself was awesome. The battle system is one of the best ever in an RPG. The Sphere grid was incredibly fun.

The main character and some of the writing was terrible. There were some greats though...Lulu, Auron, Kimahri. Tidus and Wakka were just awful.

It balances out to be a good game that should have been great had it the character and writing quality of VII and IX.

In my opinion this game was terrible

I wish they would remake FFVII.

Will let others guinea it first. I have normal plus for awhile anyways.

We'll never get a new Shining Force no matter how much I cry about it. I'm sure it'll be a bunch of Sonic and Yakuza games..

Seriously though, everyone needs to experience ACC with a wheel. It is a truly stellar, white knuckle, heart pounding experience. The force feedback detail is incredible.

These guys have obviously never played Assetto Corsa Competizione - it should be second or third.

I had a PS Now trial, and right after activating it went in and turned off the auto renew.

I was then billed when it was up. Turned off the auto renew again and it worked that time. I always thought something shady was going on with that.

Lol from these comments you would think FFVIIR was one of the worst games in the past decade. Pretty much the opposite, I think it was even close to game of the year on this site (by fans)!

As with anything gaming these days, I'll wait until the reviews are in on the quality of it all before making a decision.

Add me to the list of those dissapointed in the launch content. The game has a ton of cars that are all out of reach after beating the Cafe. The poor payouts mean that I could race for months just to afford one car from the Legends dealer. It really sucks because I'll turn it on and hit my daily miles, spend the ticket, and sit there on the map like....well....I guess I'll go play something else.

I should have waited and bought this game a year from now for half the price and double the content.

The way Polyphony does live service is pretty great. You can get tired of the game and go back a couple of months later to new surprises. I haven't paid a dime beyond price of the game for Sport and been playing it off and on since release.

Definitely getting a Bioshock / Half Life 2 vibe from this one. I'm not big on FPS, but I play at least one single player FPS a generation - this may be the one.

When 2 out of the 4 Pros are great battle music and adorable cat mount, you know you are in for it.

Hopefully you can assume the role of greedy club owners that do all they can to maximize profits and slight your players. Or vice versa! I could see a negotiating mini game where a bunch of old dudes get together and go back and forth with the goal being to not make any progress. They could add in side quests like bringing coffee to the table without spilling it on yourself, or playing paper football with another owner. Oh! And a mode where you design articles or ads placing the blame on the other side while making it seem like you care about the fans more than the money.

Push Square needs to hire people just to get everything reviewed in the next few months. Sheesh what a lineup. Even beyond the big three games, there are some super interesting games that I will be checking reviews on.

As a driving game fan, GT7, Grid Legends, Truck Driver PS5, are all on my radar.

The failures of the vita make me cry. Why oh why couldn't they have added proper R2/L2 buttons and better wifi? It was so close to greatness. And the memory fiasco. Ugh Sony ugh

@meltendo seriously though? People that are going to go the lengths of hacking their console and downloading such a massive game were going to do it anyways. Now they just get it a bit early without the final assets and bug fixes. Don't really care honestly, the people that were gonna buy it are still going to buy it and game is going to sell like hotcakes.

@KidBoruto If they weren't making ME and DA at the same time maybe! Can you imagine what it's like in that office working on two of the most popular gaming franchises of all time, with absolutely 0 room for F ups this time around. There has to be so much pressure to get everything right.

Wasn't there a remake of FF Tactics circulating the rumor mill? Would love that, but also in the Legend of Dragoon camp. That would be an enormous remake though.

@TooBarFoo I don't know why that depresses you lol. You do you and let others be hyped for a game they have been waiting for. There are many reasons people want to play something when it releases. Maybe they want to experience the story spoiler free, maybe they want to play alongside their friends so they can talk about it. It's really up to them.

Me personally, I refuse the 70 dollar price point but it takes some effort since Sony is waiting about 6 months to come off those prices.. For example Ratchet and Clank just got lowered in Nov. But that means a lot of people will have beat the game and moved on by the time I start it. I'm cool with that personally, but I totally understand someone wanting it asap and it doesn't bother me. I do think I will cave on GT7 though! I have waited way too long for a proper new GT, cannot wait another 6 months.

I might go for a season pass or something but they would have to give me everything they ever make for the game. As it stands you only get the expansions, the armor and weapons add ons you still have to pay for. They nickel and dime you no matter what.

I think the main combat in this game will be with the camera. The VA and the main character are terrible. I remember they released a video bragging about the actress playing this character, and it was just bad. Bad writing or bad acting or bad direction or all three. I also feel like the game industry has gone overboard with female characters lately. I get it was male dominated in the past but it's crazy now how many story leads are now female. I guess I don't mind it, it's just a bit weird that they are overly course correcting.

The racing is exciting when you are playing it. Paired with a great FFB wheel, nothing comes close to the fun it brings in my opinion. Super excited for this and the return of Deep Forest!

Disregarding the constant milking of the cow, and the bugs on release, it is one of the greatest games ever made. The sheer size is incredible to me still today.

@TBubs311 I loved the whole Egypt setting, and the gear was really fun to acquire.

This game's setting is kind of boring and the gear even worse. Unless you want to look like a wooly mammoth for the entire game, you have to spend money. The dark knight gear is awesome but yep, microtransaction.

@MetalGear_Yoshi I feel the opposite of everything you said. I'm not a die hard, but am a fan and I love these little videos that give more info about the game.
