@manonfire You get a free upgrade since you bought the PS4 version! It is only the people that did not buy the PS4 version (got it free from PS Plus) that will have to buy the game for the upgrade.

@Flaming_Kaiser Then why are you waiting for a massive discount? The upgrade is free since you bought the PS4 version.

@huyi There is no double dip. If you bought the PS4 version, you get a FREE upgrade to Intergrade.

Yes, the DLC costs money, but its a big expansion, those usually do.

They probably shouldn't have given the game away. It seems like most people are just pissed because they got a free one and now they have to pay something for the upgrade.

If they wouldn't have given the game away, then they give a free upgrade to Intergrade and charge for DLC, no one would be complaining.

People getting a free game are suddenly entitled to everything else..

Honestly they have been transparent about what was going to happen this whole time. Not sure why people are getting the pitchforks now.

I think they are probably looking at PSN accounts that actually played the game and came up with those figures. People latching on to "rentals"

70 bucks for 5 hours of gameplay that has been extended out to 20 to 25 due to unnecessary difficulty.

This is a little tongue in cheek, but also a little bit how I feel about this game and Deathloop.

The Vita was such as awesome product. A few shortcomings and bad vision did it in (much more the latter).

The lack of L2 and R2 buttons and the expensive storage options were the only downsides to the hardware. The OLED screen was magnificent, and it is my favorite way to play PSX classics.

I still hold out hope that we'll get another handheld from Sony that corrects the hardware problems and comes with another amazing screen. I know it's next to impossible though. Until then, My Razer Kishi on my Note 20 U with Remote Play will have to suffice.

@Loftimus Ah yeah, if you bought the digital only PS5 you're right.

This game is way better than I expected. Several times this game has made me giggle with glee as the top two racers get T Boned on a crossover clearing the way for me to take first in a tough race.

Good times, and good on Sony to send this one our way. For the peeps not giving it more than one shot, give it another go, some of the tracks are brilliantly designed.

It's taking everything I have not to watch this trailer!

@Loftimus You can find the PS4 paid version for way less than that. It's a free upgrade to PS5 from there and then you'll just have to pay for the Yuffie DLC if you want it.

Sony should try and make the next Call of Duty timed exclusive lol

I don't get why people don't understand timed exclusivity. You may not like the practice, but its effective.

@sanderson72 I'm aware of the age, but in my opinion, it hasn't aged as well as a lot of other classics. For example, Symphony of the Night has aged extremely well and released in 1997. Final Fantasy IX, in 2000. If you want to go same genre, Diablo II has fared better. All my opinions, but wasn't trying to hurt feelings. Hope you enjoy it

I have PS5 patch anxiety for PS4 games. Can't bring myself to start any unpatched games in case this happens!

I swear Sony has turned the service from a side thought to a must have in less than a year. I remember early last year the games were pretty cruddy each month and a lot of complaints. Ever since the PS5 came though they've really upped their game. I appreciate the free games and am subbed for a couple more years.

Not surprising around 40% who visit here are getting it day one. I'm worried about the non ps blog visitors though. I'll wait for reviews and a sale. This isn't the game that will make me shell out $70. If this was a massive game then I get it, but its kind of a tight loop from what I've seen. I do think they've done a great job on presentation and it looks interesting. We'll see.

Add me to the waiting for price drop crew. A demo prior to release could help get people hooked and willing to spend 70 bucks. Well, if you are confident in it I guess.

Trailer was pretty underwhelming, but I love pirate stories so will look out for reviews.

Hey everyone. Buy physical. Don't give into the convenience of digital, because when these stores go tits up, you're left without support. I know that they'll eventually pull all of this stuff off the servers and if you don't have it downloaded anymore, you are s.o.l.

Half the games needing day one patches to be playable is another story. But surely people will be archiving patches for use many years down the road.

I guess when all of this goes down, which we know it will, people will be forced to pirate games because they can't get them anywhere else.

Wouldn't put it past Sony to let this play out, collect the pre-order and week 1 sales, and announce it as a PS Plus title in May or June.
