@B_Lindz Are you still on PS4? The PS5 remote play is much improved. I love using the Razer Kishi to wirelessly play PS5. I have a 400mbps connection.

This is the downfall of Sony. The Ratchet and Clank gacha game will generate so much revenue, that it will overtake all other projects.

@Jayofmaya I think its got a low rate because it's a giveaway on a fairly content starved system. So literally every single person with a PS5 has checked it out, even people that have no interest in it. Whereas other games, people generally buy them because they are interested in them, which should lead to a higher platinum rate. I base all of this on the fact that I know nothing about anything and I'm probably wrong but like to act like I know what I'm talking about.

I was pretty excited for this originally, but then bad reviews came out and I lost interest. I like the idea and setting, but I prefer more of a Tactics/Fire Emblem style of strategy and less XCOM.

@WallyWest Are there any prerequisites though? Like someone starting out brand new would need to fix their ship, upgrade hyperspace, etc etc etc. I think 3 to 4 hour quote is probably for a current player with a lot of the capabilities unlocked that takes many many hours to build up to. Could be wrong though.

This is really awesome. Unfortunately, like the first poster, the game has become overwhelming when trying to get back in. I spent several hours just trying to figure out how to get perpetual power to my base. I spent hundreds of hours on the game before some of the bigger updates - it was a time sink before but even more so now.

Definitely a wait for reviews type of game. Has a lot of potential.

@glassmusic No, only upgrade to PS5 version is free if you bought the game on PS4 previously. DLC is extra.

Looks pretty cool, but definitely need to see what the saving is like. I don't mind dying a lot in games like these, but playing the same things over and over to get back to a boss or whatever (looking at you hollow knight)..ain't nobody got time for that

@somnambulance You know, I enjoyed XV, but Ardyn was a bad villain in my opinion. The end of the game was pretty strangely done too. I did like some of the secret dungeons, but I wish there were more secrets throughout the game. We all know the development hell the game went through, but it just seemed lacking in meaningful side quests and activities. I played the game day one though and I understand Royal added a lot to the game, it almost sounds like some of that stuff should have been there from the beginning. I don't know, it was a solid game though with maybe some wasted potential.

You are spot on with VIIR. That was my '20 game of the year no doubt about it. Sorry to hear about you losing your job, but the brightside was the gaming binge sounds like!

@somnambulance Yeah totally. When Project Athia was shown it blew my mind. Surely Forspoken is a 2022 title, right? I think we may see XVI in 21, but Square Enix is known for delays. I'm really hoping for an adult story, more so than XV, maybe like Tactics was. The previews kind of bears this out too which makes me even more hyped. Hoping also for a return to late game open world, like so many of the series earlier titles.

There are game trading sites online to trade physical games with other people, in case you don't have any PS5 owning buddies. So you flip Demons Souls for MM, then MM for Returnal etc all for the price of postage if you get the right people.

I really hope they don't waste resources on this. This team has really developed into a best in class organization, I would like for them to develop completely new ip.

@manonfire You get a free upgrade since you bought the PS4 version! It is only the people that did not buy the PS4 version (got it free from PS Plus) that will have to buy the game for the upgrade.

@huyi There is no double dip. If you bought the PS4 version, you get a FREE upgrade to Intergrade.

Yes, the DLC costs money, but its a big expansion, those usually do.

They probably shouldn't have given the game away. It seems like most people are just pissed because they got a free one and now they have to pay something for the upgrade.

If they wouldn't have given the game away, then they give a free upgrade to Intergrade and charge for DLC, no one would be complaining.

I think they are probably looking at PSN accounts that actually played the game and came up with those figures. People latching on to "rentals"

70 bucks for 5 hours of gameplay that has been extended out to 20 to 25 due to unnecessary difficulty.
