I was playing InFAMOUS 2, Motor Storm Apocalypse and Split/Second on PS Now and was having a pretty good experience but not perfect. It just made me want real Back Compatibility. So I jumped over to my Xbox One X and picked up Split/Second for $20. And it’s so much more fun. On PS4 I might Restart SOMA for a creepy game during October. Have a great weekend!

On PS4 I picked up the Castlevania Requiem: Symphony of the Night & Rondo of Blood on sale. So I’m going to attempt to play SotN for the first time. So far it’s great. I’m also trying to finish the mediocre campaign in SW Battlefront II. And on Xbox One X I’m still playing my comfort food game Forza Horizon 4 and eagerly awaiting the release of FH5 in November. Have a great weekend everyone!

This weekend I finished up TLoU 2. After nearly bouncing off of it like I’ve talked about here before. It finally clicked and I just powered right to the end of it in like four days. I think it’s way too long, and it has some seriously frustrating things about it. But it’s a good game and tells a compelling story. But I was never invested in it like I was with the first game. Now I’m changing gears and cleansing the pallet with Skyward Sword HD on switch. Have a great weekend everyone!

I picked up TLoU2 again after putting it down awhile back. I am slogging my way through a bit more. Now I’ve met the Stalkers. Those are some cheap enemies. I like the story and the characters are great but I just hate playing this game. Im not sure I’m going to put my self through it just to see the story. It’s too bad because I loved the first game so much. Oh well all things aren’t for everyone.

Still not one single reason to pick up a PS5 even if I could find one. I’ve loved Sony since 1996. And I’m now going to be getting an Xbox Series X this gen as my primary system. Someday down the line I might pick up a PS5 for exclusives at the end of its life. I Still love you Sony. But I’ll see ya in a few years. Now back to Forza Horizon 4.

@OmegaStriver I completely agree with you on the PS3 generation. Such a great line up. The PS4 hasn’t even come close in my mind. I’m hoping for this gen to show me something to get excited about but so far I’m less interested in the PS5 than I was in the PS4. I hope Sony can be exciting again at some point. Right now I’m playing on Xbox most of the time. They are just more interesting to me at this point.
