The reason I want a PS5! Easily my most anticipated game on any platform. Having put close to 100 hours into GT Sport I can’t get enough. I’ve been with this series since day one. Let’s go!
I was playing InFAMOUS 2, Motor Storm Apocalypse and Split/Second on PS Now and was having a pretty good experience but not perfect. It just made me want real Back Compatibility. So I jumped over to my Xbox One X and picked up Split/Second for $20. And it’s so much more fun. On PS4 I might Restart SOMA for a creepy game during October. Have a great weekend!
On PS4 I picked up the Castlevania Requiem: Symphony of the Night & Rondo of Blood on sale. So I’m going to attempt to play SotN for the first time. So far it’s great. I’m also trying to finish the mediocre campaign in SW Battlefront II. And on Xbox One X I’m still playing my comfort food game Forza Horizon 4 and eagerly awaiting the release of FH5 in November. Have a great weekend everyone!
Just Forza Horizon 4 on Xbox One X for me. Don’t really feel like starting anything else at the moment. I’m finishing up the last of the races on the DLC.
All Gran Turismo Sport this weekend. Im like 80 hours into that game. Still working through the campaign races. And dabbling in online. It’s so good and my go to game for when I’m between games. Have a great weekend everyone!
Out of town with family this weekend having not seen them in 18 months. So no consoles this weekend. But I’m really enjoying Do-Don-Pachi on Apple Arcade. What a game! Such a great old school bullet hell shooter
Finished playing Ghost of Tsushima directors cut on PS4. I’m going to wait in the DLC for now. I started it and was really not enjoying it that much. And I’m going to try and finish Pshyconaughts 2 on Xbox One X. So far I’m liking it. Have a great weekend!
I’m still a Sony fan but this kind of back and forth stuff is getting old. Glad they made the right decision but I think this generation the PS5 will be my exclusive machine some time down the road. And the Series X will be my main console for now.
Death Stranding is my second favorite PS4 game behind Horizon ZD. Having said that I wouldn’t want a sequel as I think it is a great stand alone game and story. Let’s have something new from Kojima.
I finally finished the story in Ghost of Tsushima. Now I’m just cleaning up the island and then I’ll start Iki island DLC. When I need a break I keep dipping into Art of Rally on Game Pass. What a great chill out game. Have a great weekend everyone!
I haven't had a chance to touch the new content as I am still working my way through act III. What a great game. It sucks a way the hours like God of War did for me.
@Flaming_Kaiser PS1 is also my favorite system followed by the SNES. But the PS3 just had the right games at the right time for me. It was also dominated by some great single player games and some great early indy games like Shatter and PacMan Championship addition DX.
@Smash41 I feel the exact same way. Every year there is less and less that I get excited for in gaming. I miss the PS3 days when I wanted to play everything.
Now that I’ve finished TLoU2 it’s time go back to Ghost of Tsushima on PS4. It took me a minute to get back in the groove of it. But now that I have I’m completely sucked in again. What a game.
I’m playing through Jedi Fallen Order. I’m completely addicted to it. And also working my way through Skyward Sword HD on the side. Have a great weekend!
This weekend I finished up TLoU 2. After nearly bouncing off of it like I’ve talked about here before. It finally clicked and I just powered right to the end of it in like four days. I think it’s way too long, and it has some seriously frustrating things about it. But it’s a good game and tells a compelling story. But I was never invested in it like I was with the first game. Now I’m changing gears and cleansing the pallet with Skyward Sword HD on switch. Have a great weekend everyone!
@joehod Origins is absolutely my favorite of the three most recent AC games. Slow start. But what a great game! And I’m a sucker for the ancient Egyptian setting.
@djdizzy I just find it cumbersome to control at times. And it feels like I’m having to force myself to play it. I think it’s just me. Bc it does seem like a great game that’s just not clicking w me.
I picked up TLoU2 again after putting it down awhile back. I am slogging my way through a bit more. Now I’ve met the Stalkers. Those are some cheap enemies. I like the story and the characters are great but I just hate playing this game. Im not sure I’m going to put my self through it just to see the story. It’s too bad because I loved the first game so much. Oh well all things aren’t for everyone.
Still playing Battlefield 1 story. Also jumping back into a current replay of Titanfall 2 on PS4. And on XBOX ONE X I’m in chapter 2 of Gears 5 Hivebusters.
Still not one single reason to pick up a PS5 even if I could find one. I’ve loved Sony since 1996. And I’m now going to be getting an Xbox Series X this gen as my primary system. Someday down the line I might pick up a PS5 for exclusives at the end of its life. I Still love you Sony. But I’ll see ya in a few years. Now back to Forza Horizon 4.
@OmegaStriver I completely agree with you on the PS3 generation. Such a great line up. The PS4 hasn’t even come close in my mind. I’m hoping for this gen to show me something to get excited about but so far I’m less interested in the PS5 than I was in the PS4. I hope Sony can be exciting again at some point. Right now I’m playing on Xbox most of the time. They are just more interesting to me at this point.
@Residentsteven definitely not Abby. Might just be that I’m not in the mood for a game like this right now. I’m going to give it another go. Right now I’m cleansing the pallet w some Streets of Rage 4.
@Residentsteven I think it’s totally ok not to like some of big Sony games. I have the same problem w The Last of Us Part II. I just can’t get into it. And I love the first one.

Re: Call of Duty: Vanguard (PS5) - More Safe But Solid FPS Action
Sounds like fun. I’ll probably pick it up like I do all other CoD games, when they go on sale. Just to play the single player.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 401
Nothing but Forza Horizon 5 since the early access started. So much fun!

Looks at least as good as the Prince of Persia movie was. So I guess that’s not saying much.
