@Futureshark I booted up Ratchet & Clank the other day to check out the patch, and noticed no difference, which was weird because 30 vs 60 is usually night and day.

It's pretty solid. There's very little feedback when you're hitting a target. You just kind of hold the fire button until something falls down.

I'm curious about it. I liked the combat in the little bit of the demo that I played, but the constant, boring cut scenes drove me nuts. I played The Division 2 for maybe 10-12 hours before losing interest, and hated the Avengers gameplay loop. Should I give this a miss?

Seems weird that such a seemingly simple game has had so many delays. Of course a lot of Lego games are bugfests (I never did beat the final boss of Pirates of the Caribbean because it crashed every single time), so more development time can hopefully only help. I'm really looking forward to this though.

It's a shame that every single frame will still be a boring, lifeless slog.

Eh, a miss for me. I'll definitely check out Oddworld, but I really disliked what I played of Days Gone (and already own it through PS Collection) and ZA4 isn't my thing. Which is all fine, since I'm playing catch up anyway.

@Number09 What? I have all of the Bioshocks and most of the Assassin's Creeds along with Bully downloaded on my PS5. I'm sure several of those others are available as well. If you're so interested in the classics, keep your old consoles and buy physical. You can't expect generations old storefronts to run in perpetuity.

@Profondo The article says it's a glitch. How is that "purposely (by design)"? Game designers aren't looking to trigger seizures for funsies...

@nessisonett Kill Bill may be the closest thing, but that's a mix of a lot of different styles.

I love this. Ichiban's hairstyle needs to be a little more blown out, but they look fantastic.

@RBMango Fair enough. I thought Chloe's attitude was understandable, and really liked getting to know Rachel Amber. The talkback thing was inconsequential, but didn't detract from anything in my opinion. To each his own. 👍

I played through it on PS5 and enjoyed it, but it isn't remarkable enough to give it another run whenever the upgrade releases. Just a disappointment all around. Still wondering about that Witcher 3 upgrade though...

So how many times is this going to happen before Sony overhauls the process? There's obviously some unresolved issues.

Can they do something about the overlong, ugly cutscenes though?

I'm good for another shot at a TMNT game, but did it have to be in the 80's toon style? Why not base it on the modern comics?

I think the likely translation is, "Everything not currently nearing the end of production." They didn't drop that cash just to see heavy hitters like Elder Scrolls, Fallout and Doom sell big on PS5.
Unlike most, it seems, I really enjoyed Fallout 4, but I won't pick up an XB to play the next. Although Sony needs to start picking up some RPG devs before Microsoft snatches them all.

I'm about 8 hours in, and it truly is a fantastic game. I always liked Yakuza, but the formula was tired. This was a bold step in the right direction. It should be noted too that the English voice track is on point as well.

That's nuts. It already felt like it took forever to level. I already wasn't coming back, guys, you don't have to keep giving me reasons.

@phil_j I'd say yes. It's jankier to be sure, but I enjoyed the setting and characters and the combat is decent.

Anyone else unimpressed with the upgrade? The animation is jerky as hell, the resolution is a bit fuzzy. I had to double check that I was playing the correct version. It doesn't look like anything the PS4 couldn't do.

I have the standard disc version and upgraded just fine. Looking forward to starting it after work. Hopefully they can get this mess straightened out for every one else. The store is in dire need of an overhaul.

The combat was decent, but I couldn't take more than a few seconds of each cut scene, which the demo is BURSTING with, and kept skipping them. That caused my interest to drop pretty quickly.

@Orochilocka What? It totally is. Or better be, since I just bought the PS4 version on Amazon in anticipation of the upgrade.

@LordSteev You don't have to do anything. I've carried the same account over from 3 to 4 to 5. All you do is sign in on the new console and you're done.

I'd love another playthrough, so that would be awesome. Doubtful though.

I picked up Night in the Woods, Oxenfree and Chicken Police for 26 bucks. Good deal, and the backlog grows.

@jcvandan Control scheme is tight. There is a curve to building custom coasters, but I was really pleasantly surprised by how it all handles. I have it on PS5 and love it.

Free demo! I'll try a demo of just about anything, and can't believe more aren't released. I'm actually curious about this one too.

The combat absolutely ruined this game for me. If that's not tweaked I'll have to take a pass.

I won't pick it up again unless they do something to change the post-campaign gameplay loop. What an absolute drag. Not even Spidey will entice me.

I'm chomping at the bit honestly. I was only vaguely interested in FFVIIR and it ended up being game of the year for me. I can't wait to see where they take it.

Now follow that up with a PlayStation Plus free-to-play announcement.

She doesn't look much like Ellie, but she ruled on GoT, so I won't complain.

I really loved this game until I got to the point where every dungeon I ran with a group was completely unenjoyable because a high level or two would just race through to the end. I didn't get to fight anything, pick up loot, or experience the environment or story. And if I asked them if we could slow down I got flamed. It totally killed it for me.

This game was such a major leap backward after Origins and Odyssey. It's ugly, boring and empty. Ubisoft needs to take a step back, take a few years off, and rethink the next entry.

@Tigerhoodman Yes! Absolutely one of the greatest game trilogies of all time. There's nothing else quite like the setting or story you build, and the characters are fantastic.

@fR_eeBritney LiS 2 is still very good, but it does spin it's wheels some in the middle. The central conflict is interesting, there are some very likeable characters, and some tough choices to make.

I won't pay full price for it, but I'll absolutely pick it up one day.

Since everyone's dropping opinions, I personally loved The Last Jedi and Rogue One, liked Force Awakens and Solo and hated Rise of Skywalker. I also love Mando and Rebels. Resistance sucked. The main problem with the sequel trilogy is that they didn't have a basic map in place. Everything was reactionary. VII was too derivative so VIII went in a lot of unexpected directions. Then there was backlash from some of the community, so IX erased a lot of what VIII had built. There wasn't a single satisfying character arc. I wish Filoni and Favreau had been in charge of the whole thing from the word go. As far as this game is concerned, I'm really looking forward to it and wish they'd throw out a release date.

I'm totally down. The last two Holmes titles weren't perfect, but I still enjoyed the hell out of them.
