After the post-credits scene in the first game, I can't see how it would be anyone but Harry, which I'm fine with. Eddie hasn't been a villain in a long time, and the Venom movies have definitely diluted his character.
I liked the SNES version okay, though never finished it because there was no save system. I would, however, love to see the Genesis and even the Sega CD releases included here.
I've been playing on Graphics mode at 2-3 hours each session with no issues yet, and haven't noticed it running hotter than normal. My system is horizontal.
It wasn't for me. Well-produced but I was bored to tears after a few hours. I didn't care about what was happening, combat was monotonous, loot was boring. Glad others are enjoying it though.
@Tomato_Goose Quite a lot, yeah. I enjoyed the original well enough, but this one has some massive improvements, especially in how you power your parks. Campaign, movie-inspired scenarios, sandbox, all good.
Assassins in an Assassin's Creed game? Get outta here. Not super excited for the setting or lead character, but it'll be great to get back to the more traditional play style.
@pushL7 Same. Story (or at least the final act) was a little lame, but the combat and individual missions were fun. I soloed as Babs for the duration. I'll likely have another run at it sometime.
What are the chances the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster bundle gets a little drop? I know it just came out, but it's prime material for this type of sale.
I'm gonna go against the grain here and say I'm glad it wasn't in Legacy. I didn't really want another system shoehorned in to distract from the main experience. That being said, I'm also not really interested in this standalone game unless I hear amazing things.
Sackboy is fine. There's some nice level design and music, but it all gets pretty repetitive before too long. I don't have any interest in the other two, so it's a fairly typical month for me.
I played this on Xbox last year via Game Pass, and loved it. Just a fascinating story with a lot of paths to take. I haven't played the DLC (I don't think?) so I may give it another runthrough.
@NarutosBiggestFan Man, I loved Lego Dimensions. I wish they would do a digital-only rerelease, no toys or portal needed. Gameplay would need a bit of reworking, but I'd even shell out for DLC characters and packs.
@Mauzuri I really liked the first one but didn't finish it because the boss battles towards the final couple of chapters were too difficult, and just an absolute slog. I'd also like to learn more about the difficulty before committing to this.
I love Bill and Ted, but nothing could get me to replay this infuriatingly horrible mess. Check out AVGN's video if you're curious and save yourself a tenner.
The game is really good (and nothing at all like Avengers or Gotham Knights). The problem that all games are going to start running into is that at $70 a pop, players are going to be much, much more selective. Very few games, if any, are worth that asking price, especially when you start loading season passes on top.
I really enjoyed the game, but not enough to revisit with DLC. The storytelling and graphics were so hit or miss, and it was dragging a bit by the disappointing finale. I agree with the 7/10.
@Unlucky13 My TV apps are really clunky. We do use it for Amazon Prime as that stutters on PS5, but everything else goes through the system. It's much more streamlined and tends to look better too.
...I feel like I was expecting too much. It looks pretty good, and may still get a third full playthrough out of me, but it's not as transformative as what I hoped for. My bad.
@AmanK_Art Check the accessibility custom options. There actually is an option to auto solve puzzles. The customization of games like this and Control are the way it should be done.

Re: King Kong Game Skull Island: Rise of Kong Announced for PS5, PS4
This looks Gollum-bad, but at least it's not full price I guess.

Re: Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 Publisher Is Refunding All Physical PS5, PS4 Pre-Orders
The original was simultaneously flawed and phenomenal. I'd love to see a remaster on console.

@Tomato_Goose Quite a lot, yeah. I enjoyed the original well enough, but this one has some massive improvements, especially in how you power your parks. Campaign, movie-inspired scenarios, sandbox, all good.
Re: PS Plus Essential Games for June 2023 Announced
Eh, nothing for me personally. Already own JWE2, zero interest in NBA, already played Trek to Yomi on Game Pass. It was ok.
Re: Assassin's Creed Mirage First Gameplay Looks Much More Traditional, Stabs October Release Date
Assassins in an Assassin's Creed game? Get outta here. Not super excited for the setting or lead character, but it'll be great to get back to the more traditional play style.

Re: Dragon's Dogma 2 Looks Godlike in First PS5 Gameplay Reveal
I wanted to like the original, but everything felt so stiff and bland. This is looking good so far.
Re: Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Swings Back with Stunning PS5 Gameplay Trailer
So stoked for this. The original and Miles are two of my all-time favorites, and this looks phenomenal. Thank Jeebus for current gen only development.
Re: Global Superstar Nicolas Cage Is Coming to PS5, PS4 Horror Hit Dead by Daylight
Oh man. I'm terrible at this game, but that's an absolutely phenomenal reveal.
Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give Star Wars Jedi: Survivor?
Fantastic so far (on Shattered Moon) with no performance issues. Looks great, plays great. Movement and combat are so much smoother than the original.

@GorosBat This may come as a shock, but everything isn't made according to just your wants and interests.

Re: Mini Review: Citizen Sleeper (PS5) - Solemn Yet Satisfying Sci-Fi Storytelling
I played this on Game Pass last year, and found it very engrossing. I'll probably give it another run once it hits the sales.
Re: Poll: Did You Enjoy the Diablo 4 Beta?
I never had the time to wait in the virtual queue, so I didn't get to play. I'll check out the full release though.
Re: Interview: Octopath Traveler 2 Devs on Series Goals, the First Game Skipping PlayStation, and More
I'm hoping this one has less of a late game slog than the first. I never finished it due to the long, difficult boss battles you were flooded with.
Re: Acclaimed Indie RPG Citizen Sleeper Wakes Up on PS5, PS4 Later This Month

Re: Cyberpunk CRPG Gamedec Logs Imminent PS5 Release
This looks right up my alley in several ways. I'm down.
Re: The Expanse: A Telltale Series Centers Around a Bloody Mutiny in Space
The Expanse is phenomenal and deserves more than a Telltale style game. I'll give it a shot, but color me underwhelmed.

Re: Life Is Strange's Don't Nod Reshapes the World in Harmony: The Fall of Reverie
I'll definitely give it a whirl. I'm really hoping for more Life Is Strange in the future. True Colors was stellar.

Re: PS Plus Essential PS5, PS4 Games for January 2023 Announced
Eh. I already own/platted Fallen Order, don't care for Axiom Verge, and couldn't get into FO76. Maybe I'll give it another shot.

@Hindenburg I'm sorry you have no imagination or sense of adventure or wonder. Enjoy the next Call of Duty I guess.
Re: Poll: Are You Playing The Witcher 3's PS5 Upgrade?
I usually pay zero attention to fps, but I think the RT mode for this makes everything so choppy that it's nearly unplayable.
Re: 22 New PS5, PS4 Games Coming to PS Plus Extra, Premium Next Week
Nothing for me, but glad others are excited.
Re: Marvel's Midnight Suns (PS5) - Heroic Social Strategy Experiment Is Almost Super
I'm really looking forward to giving this a go, but also am not willing to pay even close to full price for it.

Re: PS Plus Premium Likely Getting Star Wars Battlefront II from PSP
Great game, but using the PSP version is maddening. I'm still irritated about getting the vastly inferior PSP version of Toy Story 3 as well.
Re: 25% of Players Have Beaten God of War Ragnarok, Two Weeks After Release
To be honest, 15 hours in I'm feeling a little burnt out on it. I think I'm going to step away for a bit. I don't know what it is exactly.
Re: PS Plus Extra Loses Ys VIII as the PS5 Version Releases
@themightyant And no discount if you decide to purchase like GamePass. I refuse to play any RPGs on Plus because of this.
Re: Test Your PlayStation General Knowledge - Issue 21
10/15. Mid-range, I'll take it.
Re: The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me (PS5) - One for the Fans Lacks Ambition
@dschons I totally agree. I really enjoyed Little Hope and didn't even finish House of Ashes.
